My girlfriend bought a Range Rover 3 years ago. It had 18k miles on the clock and looked brand spanking new. Within a year she needed a new battery, reversing camera, front windshield resealed, brake discs, and finally the suspension lmao. Other than that it's a great car lmao
I've owned five used with initial 60k ish on the clock. 165k on the clock is the most I've done and most expensive part I've spent (apart from from fuel) is one set of suspension airbags of around £1200. Don't listen to the trolls because they have never owned one. Amazing cars.

Really what they've done at Land Rover is quite incredible! They've managed to make a cult like following to their vehicles and get their customers coming back every 6 months for the mechanic.
If i say so myself , i've got Ld.Mechanic diploma certificate and an upcoming Accountant bachelors degree..... Considering the older Range-rovers models , not quite sure about the newer enhanced ones since i believe BMW worked on it ( BMW even worked on some particular if not most American cars aswell )..... The range-rover explicitly becomes un-reliable when driven above 100'000-150'000kms , so around like 2Major big services ( Or typically half of what the Local-Sponser Warranty offers if used uncarefully , not to even mention Price-range.... ). There're also big complexities within its carjack , gearbox and rear-axels sometimes that'll require big money if the warranty is off "which tends for people to sell them even before 50'000-100'K/kms which is the typical first warranty-condition in most Brand-new cars". After that pretty much you're gambling with yourself if you aren't taking good care of its Maintenance. 😅
All of the climate controls are separate except for the off button for them you uave to go back through the entire menu on screen and if your in reverse and trying to turn it off real quick then your put of luck because you can't
The "modern" range rover are no longer using ladder chassis like the g wagon, bronco, jeep, pajero or even jimny. It's also using indipendent air bag suspension for comfort rather than for hard core off road.
If they made these super reliable and super efficient like 60mpg ... would be the best car in the world for comfort but ive owed 2 different models and both had issues soon as somthing broke was fixed which made something else break very bad reliability 😮

The most reliable vehicles in the history of reliable vehicles. Only the best drivers use them. You'll rarely see one on the road because they're such good off roaders. Male owners aren't compensating for anything at all.
Two points. 1. Insurance. If you can get it, is ££££££ madness 2. Reliability. Even if you keep it in warranty, it does not mean they can get the parts to fix it (See The Doctor’s Garage). Diagnostics, even if they find a fault they can’t tell you where exactly it is or how much it will cost you to repair it. I know. I paid 2hours at £168 per hour to be told, yes there is a fault but we can’t pinpoint it and can’t tell you how much it would cost.
At what? Getting you across a muddy field? Driving in pure comfort from A to B? What Porsche are we talking, Cayenne? 911? Taycan? What a stupid comment.
