Your grandmother must've been a fantastic cook. Her 'just put it together quickly' is what people pay to eat gladly! One thing of note, you mention how it might not be the healthiest thing. If you mean the coconut milk, it's been shown that it's got a lot of health properties. Anyway, God bless and thank you for uploading these.

Do you soak your split peas before hand? I do, but somehow my peas never "melts". I always have to blend it afterwards which affects its consistency, so it's never like the traditional split peas soup that I grew up with. Why do you suppose that is?

    • @NaturalSt.LucianGem

The same. You'd just need to season the pigtails first or add the seasonings during the cooking process with a bit more salt.

On the cooking channel or iron chef do you see anyone using tasting spoons to cook food. For your information it has to do with health issues/ standards
If you attended a culinary school, that would be the first class 101
You are making T&t look 👀 bad . You are only doing your thing for money 💰. Eventually time will catches with you. Keep your path of distrusting. I am a Train chef 👩‍🍳. Please do the right thing

@@bcampbell999 you continue with ridiculous comments. The spoon someone choose to use does not impact the dish, their culture nor the impression the world gets. That's a fact. I applaud you for attending culinary school and for not using the spoon of your choice, as you've been told it was not kosher. I'll continue to use the spoon I choose as I please. Sadly I do not watch the cooking channel (BTW I said NO to them when they came calling). Lastly, how does using a table spoon to stir a pot affect health standards? How is it different than using another type of spoon?. Not even sure how you came to the conclusion that I'm doing this for money and do tell what will catch up to me? All this from a spoon. loudest of stupes now yea
