Seeing how someone fell for it again, I feel the need to explain that Chara isn’t evil. Chara only did those things out of confusion. At first, Chara was confused by our actions of killing monsters. They didn’t quite get it. They just woke up, and woke up to this. Over time, our determination began to overwhelm Chara, causing them to become corrupted and ‘evil’ as some people say. But in reality, we are the evil ones. Chara, at the end of the genocide run, asks us, the player, to destroy the world, because that’s what we wanted to do, right? And if you say “yes” and erase the world, Chara feels they did the right thing, corrupting them. But if you say “no’, Chara becomes confused yet again… and does it themselves. If you do a true pacifist after a true genocide, things will seem normal at first until you get to the ending. Chara’s face will pop up on Frisk’s face in the bed. The reason for this? Chara is punishing us. They don’t get why we did what we did, then went to spare everyone, as this time: their corruption wasn’t there, but their memories were. So: they punish us, the player, for doing what we did, as not even Sans can even partially remember a True Reset. Only Flowey, Chara and Frisk; AKA us, the Player. Chara is by no means evil. It is US who are evil. We choose to FIGHT or SPARE. We choose whether or not to be merciful or merciless. I hope that really helps explain it. Chara isn’t an evil spirit at all, they were just corrupted by our determination. Great video, though!

They're not truly evil, but instead, only have taken a power that was overflowing from someone & filled the Emily soul they have. The reason on why they want to erase the world is because they wants to end it all, their new power is much stronger than Determination itself. A Determination Shell of a Soul, Filled with Hatred to not the Humanity, but to Frisk, the Frisk whom was supposed to be filled with Hatred for themselves on even doing a Genocide Run & killing everyone that they considered as friends & family, but thanks to Chara following them, they're the one whom got consumed by hatred instead.
