The pilot jet for mine was fine. I got a dyno jet kit and I only replaced the main jet. I have no idea what number it is anymore it was a long time ago. Nice bike
great project dont listen to the dealer theres no need to re-jet the carb ive been workin on atc atv dirt bikes and mini bikes for 40 years... and dont drill out the airbox lid either jmo
How loud is the hmf pipe, I’ve been lookin, my dad has an hmf for his 400 and it’s super loud but we live in a neiborhood so we need something a little quieter. I was looking at hmf tho
I have one just like this. When I start it on choke it turns on but shuts off after a few seconds it can’t stay on. It runs fine as long as i give it gas but as soon as I let go of the gas it turns off. It can’t stay on on neutral. Any idea of what it can be?? Thanks in advance and GREAT vid btw
Carb mine need to be rebuilt i use to have this kinda similar problem when i bought my used 07. I just bought a new oem carb and slapped it on no problems since
I’ve got a 2017 and all it is is because it’s carbonated. All you’ve gotta do is give it gas for a minute or two so that the engine heats up, after that you should be able to let it idle without shutting off.
Im doing a 07 250 restore build series on my channel. Its a been slow right now cause my powder Coat guy is taking his sweet ass time lol its been 3 weeks
It's actually much louder. We left the spark arrester in and it's very loud. I can hear him from a quarter mile away now. But it does sound good. Nice deep throaty growl.
Its really not hard I learned in 30 minutes it really takes only 5 takes maybe less to learn how to slip the clutch out. Then you can learn the more technical stuff farther down the road like off raiding and all that stuff.

You always need to jet when change exhuast or intake or it will run lean

Since your running with the lid on the air box maybe put a 100 main jet

It's sounds better with the stock exhaust but u need to take out the baffle
