As a band kid who is in college hoping to become a marching band director someday, I’m so happy to know that there are young people out there interested in the marching arts, it honestly feels like the marching arts are dying which is really hard to think about
We have some programs here in Kentucky (high school) that used to be great, but have fallen by the wayside over the years. All the time there are job openings.
It is amazing when a young person can map out their life so early. That does not come easily for most people. As comedianne Paula Poundstone used to say -- When adults ask kids what they want to be when they grow up, they are just looking for ideas. I salute anyone with musical talent. I don't have it. I can only go thru life listening to the music that others create.
As a Michigan Fan, proud father of a UofM grad, an employee of the event staff at The Big House and frequent attendee at football games in A2 I will staunchly say that I go to the games as much to see that wonderful band as the games! That young man has a promise to fulfill! I have high hopes for him! Love The MMB!
I remember back in 1972 when OGHS Patriot Band here in Escondido, CA came to Oak Hill Elementary and was so impressed by their drumline I became a section leader later for Orange Glen. YOU GO, HENRY!
I had the honor to play with the michigan marching band 2 times for honors marching band day at 2 home football games when i was in high school in 2015 and 2016 it was an amazing experience unforgettable.
I had a huge smile throughout the video. I also shed a few tears. Henry will remember this for his entire life. So touching. (To this day I write letters and mail them. Numerous people have told me when experiencing tough times they wil reread my letters to brighten their mood a bit. The written words are timeless. As is the note sent to Henry. That will forever be a treasured keepsake.)
Just imagine being the picked on band kid for most of your life, then getting to college and being hero worshipped by the sweetest kid on earth! I think that would solve every self esteem issue ever! Those college kids looked downright honored to be in the presence of this child!
I bet the band players were blown away by him. Usually the football players are the ones who get the lions share of attention. This kids enraptured gaze must have given them a renewed spark of pride. That was such a generous thing for them to do for this little guy. Although someone needs to remind him that he needs to get good drades so he can get into Michigan State and hopefully mom adad are saving their money for his tuition. With that dream firmly set in place I believe he’ll do it!!
Even with the current dip in crypto currency's, I'm so happy I can smile back at my portfolio of $63,180 built from my weekly trade, I'm having my 4th withdrawal in 7 business days...

Trading successfully is when you got the right strategy. trading with Mrs Belinda strategy has brought me great success. I have never seen a strategy as consistent as his.
