I'm working today in Dearborn a street over from this location and just had Buddys pizza for the first time ever. It's good, but I wasn't blown away like some people say. I prefer my sauce under the cheese. 7.6 is pretty accurate.
Fair score. She was all over the place. He also gave little caesars an ok score which blew me away. That hasn’t been good for years

The only thing that has gotten Little Ceasars this far in the pizza world is their cheese blend of mozz and Muenster cheese. The dough is incredibly bland and the sauce is just there, but the cheese is what has carried it to success in my opinion. Well, that and being pretty cheap doesn't hurt.
Update:the quality of buddy's pizza has gone down hill. In the suburbs north east Detroit locations the pizza sucks.

Chicago style deep dish is a thin crust pizza piled high with cheese and toppings with sauce on top. That’s what makes it thick. Detroit style is a traditional layer of toppings on a thick, bread like crust.

Buddy’s is the best pizza I’ve personally ever had. Soo much flavor. The crispy edges are insane. And the cheese is just something else, wow.
Worse - She initially claimed it was a heart attack, then retracted and said, "well it was the beginning of one..." and said the doctor told her it was all stress related. She admitted this freely on Twitter lol.

It's called the "truncated mean", not the "curve". Sometimes called the "trimmed mean". You don't do that with pizza scores though, guys. Outliers are the statistical crust. Truncating the mean is like not eating the crust. It's an amateur move...and it's offensive to extraordinarily great pizza. Respect the crust.

I used to work close to Buddy's and ate there many times, great pizza, but not as good as Mike and Sylvia's Super Sub Shop in Allen Park. Best Detroit/Sicilian style pizza in the whole area at Mike and Sylvia's place.
