I just came across one of these and unfortunately I don’t know much about this sort of thing. It’s for my son. don’t want to damage it, but I want to see if it’s working. I was considering plugging this into a guitar amp because it does not make sound without being plugged into a speaker or amp because there are no onboard speakers, correct? I appreciate any advice. Thank you.

Nice score. Yes, these need an amp with speaker to work. Try it. It probably works fine.
