For the watermelon hack, you’re supposed to remove the inside completely and mix it external and then pour it back in. That’s how it works without making a huge mess like you did and making it actually work 😂
@@BryanW22 he still is allowed to remove comments and UA-camrs are also allowed to have trigger words that will make the comments automatically delete if the commenter uses it.
The sprinkles in the shape of letters on the cake would have worked if the frosting was buttercream or if the fondant had been a little moist with maybe some water where the cookie cutters were placed. I think it is a good idea.
I think you need to use a thin layer of sprinkles and the frosting needs to be sticky for the hack to work. I think the cake you got has fondant which is why the sprinkles went everywhere.
The cake is dry, but when it's freshly iced, the sprinkles will stick better. Try smaller sprinkles too because that is more effective than chunky ones.
I'm pretty sure the sprinkle stencil would've worked if the icing was fresh/soft and you used a much smaller amount of smaller sprinkles so all of them could actually touch the icing (and not just being all piled up on top of eachother). Also just a gentle press with your finger to make sure they're all making good contact with the icing before you remove the "stencil" would probably help a lot too.
I wish he would try it again with buttercream...he quickly moves on to the other one and I'm here stressed af cos there's another way to make it work hahaha
The way you were able to wipe the sprinkles off the cake from around the cookie cutter means the icing wasn't soft enough for the sprinkles to stick to it.Try it again with maybe a butter cream icing or another soft icing/frosting.
The confetti letters should work. On a fondant cake use a little bit of water first and then a very thin layer of sprinkles, preferably of uniform size :)
The cake was covered with fondant, so the sprinkles won't stick to it. If the cake was covered with icing, and you used less sprinkles, it would work really nicely (if the cookie cutters don't sink in too much). Maybe luster dust would be super cool with this hack as well.
🤣🤣🤣“I expect nothing and still get disappointed”🤣🤣 Isn’t that the BEST quote EVER!🤣 Just LOVE this young man. I feel like I’m healthier now because I watch his videos and LAUGH SO MUCH. ❤️
With the watermelon one you should have removed the top and levelled the bottom carefully. Removed all the fruit leaving the bottom in tact. Then done the tap. Blend the fruit and strain the juice. Then put the juice into the watermelon shell. That, in theory, should work
For the cake one, it would have been better if the cake had fresh/spreadable frosting to stick to, because that ones frosting is more like fondant which the sprinkles wont stick to. plus you were adding a lot of sprinkles. But the sprinkles need a frosting to stick to instead of sit ontop of, thats why they all fell on eachother.
The cookie cutter with sprinkles hack does work he just put the dry sprinkles on dry fondant so of course its not going to work. You have to use frosting for it to work right so they have something to stick to.
With the cookie cutter and sprinkles you need a fronted cake not a fondant cake and you need smaller sprinkles and not pile it you just do a thin layer
I think the cake hack is for a soft butter cream type of coat. Not a smooth fondant. Unless you first brush it with some water and use less sprinkles to make 1 layer stick.
Regarding the cake, you used a fondant cake and the surface is already dry. If you used cake covered in icing that would work better. Also, the sprinkles should be enough to cover the surface so that it will stick.
For the sprinkle letters use a cake that has frosting instead of fondant and only use enough sprinkles to cover the bottom of the letter then they won't spill everywhere when you take the cookie cutter off and they'll stick to the cake 👍🏻👍🏻
I think the cake sprinkle stencil hack would work if you had a freshly frosted cake because the sprinkles would stick and not just fall. But also I think you overflowed the stencils with sprinkles
you need sticky icing on the cake also the egg hack should have worked its probably because your pan isnt flat enough. you can just get a circle fried egg mold from amazon tho
The trick with cookie cutter and sprinkles might work better if there's proper icing instead of fondant and maybe instead of sprinkles use that coarse colored sugar that you see on Christmas cookies and other desserts occasionally. Or at least put a little bit of proper frosting inside the cookie cutters if you absolutely have to use a cake that's covered in fondant. Less sprinkles too like another person mentioned could also work in your favor.
The second one with the cake and the stencils it is supposed to be with fresh cake icing so it is sticky which helps the sprinkles to get stuck on top of the cake, that icing looks dry and so no sticky at all, reason why it didn't work... 😊.

Rafael, use a cake with buttercream, then the sprinkles will stick to the cake, if there isn't a sticky surface, how will it stick. Don't use a marzipan or fondant cake
Icing must still be wet for sprinkles to stick. They wont stick to fondant unless you dab a bit of soft icing. You can do watermelon this was but its better to cut a hole for the blending wand first than cutting off the whole top. Cutting off the whole top you have cut up the insides to tiny pieces then blend. or remove them and blend and put it back inside after straining it to remove the seeds. Your taps a bit high as well. Fast food places makes their eggs like is..i still dont know how that works...i think they steam them at the same🤷🏻♀️
For the cake hack, you need sticky fondant on the cake otherwise they will not hold their place, and real sprinkles, yours were too big to be able to form anything properly and they will stack and then spread when you remove the molds D:
I don’t think the sprinkle letters worked because that frosting or even fondant is way to hard. You need softer frosting for the sprinkles to stick. Also the watermelon hack is for drinks. You remove the watermelon inside and put lemonade or vodka inside.
Lord, that sprinkle one would have worked on a cake with frosting, not fondant. What the heck did you think was going to make them stay? The cake looks like a hard brick...
I know this is like 3 years ago, but the Oreo hack reminded me of an icebox dessert I made for my family. Its called Chocotorta from Argentina. Soak chocolate/cocoa biscuits/cookies in milk or coffee, then layer them in a tin, top dulce de leche blended with cream cheese and repeat. I am in the UK and couldnt find the Argentinian cookies, but I used the brand SELGA from a local Polish deli, the cocoa biscuits. Cocoa in the mix rather than chocolate on top like most UK biscuits. Ohmygod life changing. Literal best dessert I have ever had, and it was so easy
i think a cake with fondant wont stick your sprinkles, u should've used a frosting instead, or maybe you can still use it with fondant but little sprinkles only.. love love love your channel!
For the sprinkle hack, you should use cake with butter cream or something like that, not fondue. of course the springkles wouldn't stick on fondue. Then, use less springkles or else, it'll just become a mountain sprinkle since the cookie cutter is the tall type and fall over because nothing held it up when removed😑😑
I'm not entirely sure about this, but I think that the sprinkles one would work better on wetter frosting, that frosting seemed really set. Idk, I really really love your channel

The egg thing does work BUT if it floats you shouldn’t just throw it away. It doesn’t mean that it’s bad, it just means that they’re not as fresh so you should still crack it and smell it instead of throwing it away and might waste it. It’s a good hack though. I’ve done that for years :)
