Part 3 - Bouldering up to the Base of Linville Falls

In part 3 of our video about the easiest and fastest way to get into the Linville Gorge, Jamie Griffin and I slide and shimmy our way over and around boulders up to the base of Linville Falls. Jamie is getting ready to explain his method for fishing in the plunge basin. Lots of nice views of the falls and surrounding cliffs in this one.
Note: I used one GoPro Hero3+ powered with a Wasabi Extended Battery to shoot nearly 3 hours of 1080p 30 fps video for this series. I also used a Canon HFG10 with a Wasabi Battery for about 90 minutes of video. I used a Zoom H1 for audio.

Thanks to you Jeff for asking this question about how to best get down in the gorge. You inspired me to ask Jamie - and as fate would have it, he was up for hike and some fishing. The result - my first time into the gorge instead of just poking around the ridges and looking down. Because of you I had a great day that I'll never forget. UA-cam is magic!

Hey I've found a fews things in a forum that say your supposed to get a permit to camp in the gorge area, wanted to see if you knew anything about that, thanks Tony Lee Glenn
