- *Update (9/27/22): I now have lost a total of 22 lbs. The weight keeps coming off.

Weight loss is a process, not an event

With gyms shutting down across the nations back in 2020, our lives were disrupted in many ways as we found ourselves all cooped up at home. COVID-19 had created a perfect storm for us to gain a massive amount of weight. Comfort food recipes were trending on Google. There was so much baking going on, supermarkets couldn't keep flour in stock. Many of us gained a massive amount of weight, love handles, and flab during this pandemic.
❇️ FACTS
An APA Stress in America survey conducted in late February 2021 found 42% of U.S. adults reported undesired weight gain since the start of the pandemic, with an average gain of 29 pounds.
❇️ MY STORY
6 months ago, I decided I had enough and needed to come up with a plan to lose the 12 lbs I had quickly gained. Lo and Behold, I ended up losing 20 lbs at the end of my weight loss journey! My plan consisted of building a routine with getting up in the morning, showing up at the gym, planning for my weekday meals, and cutting out all the bad snacks. I had finally returned to my pre-covid era where I had a purpose that gave me direction!

It feels so good after two weeks, when you feel the boost.. I got stuck in a cycle of physical pain and I'm so off my balance, I didn't do anything for a year now..But maybe I start with just 15min a day again.. It does a difference 😊
