I have absolutely NO idea how the one clip got misordered but hope it doesn't detract from the watching experience! Sorry about that, I'll keep an eye on that in the future!

In Canada the 122s was assembled in Halifax and called a Canadian. My father owned a ‘65 122s with a swapped in built B20 and electric overdrive 4 speed. I personally had an orange 74 142 GL, a 1971 144, 1977 242 DL. My father currently has a 1990 780 Bertone, B230ft
Very cool didn't know that! We have had just about everything over the years that Volvo made, PV544s 122s various *40s 1800 coupe and wagon, 740, 940, 960s... you name it Unfortunately Volvo content on here PROBABLY won't do to well from what I can see in my previous analytics ;)
A lot of folks have asked for more Terry talk so, you all ask, and I will do my best to deliver! Terry is a legend for sure and a genuinely great dude as well.
Austin i just watched a video from sick week a guy with a nova had the same problem with misfire he raised the hood after dark and you could see the spark it was arcing down in the protective boot I'm getting ready to fire my car up tomorrow no choke hasn't been started since October it will actually set and idle even without the choke good luck with the misfire
I don't know about Terry but I'd be thinking ( here comes another camera) lol he's a good man i seen on OMG channel and he does a great job... Edit.. Great story Terry told i really enjoyed it..lets see Terry's car please lol
Lol he's a good sport about it especially given how often one of us UA-camrs walk in the store and come over to talk/bother him ;) Certainly has a number of chances to win that Best Supporting Actor roll! ;)
Lol already HAVE taken timing out of it before it even got on track versus where it was when we broke the engine in ;) BUT having a timing light and a couple bits in a bag probably isn't a bad idea ;)
It's lean. That's also why it's so cold natured. It could be from a vacuum leak or a carb issue. While it's idling, slowly cover the carb with your hand, like you're going to "choke" it. If it idle UP at all..... you've got a vacuum leak. If not, fatten up your idle mixture a bit. With a carb, your cylinders will always vary. Single plane or duel plane manifold, don't matter. Because of the firing order you're always gonna have lean cylinders and fat cylinders. If it's just a little lean, the leanest cylinder will give you the occasional misfire. Add a little lumpy cam to the mix and it only gets worse because of the weaker signal the carb sees. If you're suspecting a plug wire, open the hood at night with it running, idle it up and look at all of the plug wires and distributor. If one arcs out, you're more likely to see it in the dark.
We could definitely do some deep diving on some of this trouble shooting if folks are interested in that kind of thing. Dunno if that's content people want to see or not?
Well, he's locked in for Pontiac Nationals so that part I think we're good on. The Bowtie nationals... we'll see about that depends on the state of his Nova honestly.
An people ask why patina look is so popular because of what y’all are talking about u go spend thousands of dollars on a paint job an don’t want to drive it or park on the other side of town to not get a scratch so don’t worry about the paint make it run an drive great an don’t worry about the look
Exxxxxactly! More often than not the cars that get beautifully painted, never get driven or enjoyed. Which I completely understand. If I had $30,000 wrapped up in paint and I would be terrified on the roads even just from bird poop!
It's certainly possible, I've got a QJet guy this one is probably going to here soon to let him go through it and see what's what. Don't wanna give up on it just yet!
Send your kid to tech school instead of college and give them the difference in cost to buy an automotive machine shop. A quality machine shop will never lack for work. The YT channels devoted to machine work are fascinating.
One of the reasons I've been trying to film and show off so much of the machining side with Bob is I think it's great stuff most folks don't ever get to see, or understand. Pulling the curtain back a bit. We have most CERTAINLY done ourselves a disservice over the past decades by disincentivizing trade craft and blue collar work pushing folks into colleges and university (and debt) .
do you add Heat Fuel additive during witer? doesn't seem your carb choke is working. The LaMans sounds like it needs a complete Tune Up with oil change & fliter & fix the dam Exh leak, lmao. can you do a video of Terry & his Aqua Boss??

I really like you're 70, especially because of the 455! But I have to say one thing, it doesn't hurt to wash the engine compartment! Even ratrods have CLEAN engine compartments. Just sayin ! PEACE ✌️

Hell yeah brother the ole dog sounds good
She plays a damn good tune for sure, especially at idle! At least in my semi professional opinion ;)
Used muscle cars definitely climbing in price for sure I bought a 81 z28 4sp sitting since 97 for 3500 last may
It's crazy how much prices have climbed, and every time we get a thought that maybe they are going to fall back down, they just keep on climbing.

He is a great dude indeed
Uncle Terry badass to

I'm guessing a pitted exhaust valve or a intake valve not sealing well?
Ohhh it better not be anything to do with valves these are all stainless when we built the motor ;)
