2014 GMC Acadia SLE: The Best Crossover? A real world analysis.

- In this video we take a look at the recently refreshed GMC Acadia. Most of the refresh took place in the styling department, so rest assured this video is relevant for older GMC Acadias and its platform mates the Buick Enclave and Chevy Traverse.
As an amateur car reviewer, I'll give you a real world, practical, unscripted analysis without the fluff of other automotive channels.
In this review we'll look at fuel economy, passenger space and seating layouts, rear cargo space behind the third row and all the other key aspects of the Acadia.

Great job with this review, I watched it until the end. We just bought an Acadia today for our family of 4 ( two in car seats) and our two big dogs and all the gear that exists in our lives because of them. I can't wait to get on the road. I like how you explain its usefulness compared to other type of cars like minivan and not just in the same class. because real shoppers don't just shop same type of cars.

Its six month since I got my vehicle SLE1 eight passenger seat which is more suit for my needs and I love my Acadia. Its really smooth driving , firm controlling on the road and plenty of interior room plus very nice and handsome shape . I am a contractor and I need to have big space in trunk for carrying my tools and sometimes materials to my site which I get that room very well from my Acadia.
I have been looking for SUV with four feet wide interior and barely you could find that in market, but Acadia gives you that size and very comfort flip seats which also gives more storage room.
I am so happy of my car and its futures, thanks for GM and their beautiful GMC Acadia , Also appreciate for your review.

I like that it has a tough body style like the Ford Explorer or Jeep grand Cherokee but actually has more room and engine reliability. Very smooth ride as well

Honestly, you;'ve changed my mind about GMC Acadia. Its such a capable vehicle and ticks all boxes in my checklist. You also mentioned thing that I've been thinking about: I wont buy a minivan, but don't want a boat size Yukon or Tahoe, so this vehicle is pretty much have everything i need. Thanks for the most honest review I've seen on UA-cam.

You would be happy to know that I did watch this video until the end. I appreciate your hard work in creating a amateur independent review of the Arcadia. My family is expanding and I cannot see myself driving a minivan so I am looking at crossover options. The Arcadia is high on my list. If the Nissan Pathfinder had an 8 passenger option I would have definitely bought one already. I know you appreciate the captains chairs in the second row but if I bought this vehicle I would opt for the bench seat in the second row. thanks again for your review. Watched to the end. Just joined a vanpool and we use an Acadia so wanted to see what others have to say about it. I am pleasantly surprised...though we do have an Odyssey ourselves. Maybe one day when we need less space, we will go to a crossover.

I am an Acadia Owner since 2007 and I just got the new 2015 Acadia, I appreciate the review and I agree that the exterior and interior specs make it more modern as for the engine I am ok with the engine size as well, I love the way it feels. It picks up kick and almost feels like a large sports car. Great Review.

My Husband and I are on our fourth family addition, and there is no way neither of us can see ourselves in a mini van. we were originally looking at a Chevy Tahoe, test drove one and all but for the price we are better off going with the suburban which I really was trying to avoid ( a monster of an SUV) came across the Acadia and for the price and space we need, it seams much more affordable than a Tahoe. i was concerned about the stroller plus luggage in the cargo area for those road trips and this video helped our decision. Thank you.
Yisel Delgado Also regarding the Acadia, it has it own chassis...the others are sitting on a truck chassis. A better riding and handling vehicle.

Thank you for a great review. I like how you explained many of the key features of the Acadia and answered many of my questions. It would have been great to see how you fit in the 3rd row, or to see how the kids/carseats fit within the 3rd row also.

love the redesign of the Acadia..got one as a dealer loaner and I feel in love. The price was something that was something of a deal breaker....come down 5-10 grand and maybe we can talk...
I am a lifelong GM and had several vehicles, but the recent recalls of their vehicles are making me nervous and will be moving on to another brand... I can no longer afford to be brand loyal if the cars will not last after the payments end or there are designed to kill me...
Also made it to the end of the video and great job...I am still waiting for that Ram Power Wagon review..j/k( no but seriously I am talking the wife into letting that be my new truck, i want that review!!)
