If it takes to recognize the legitimacy of a Prophet is his prophacies, then look Muhammad's prophacies and how they came to pass (example: is the victory of the Muslims over the romans and the Persians, the victory of the romans in the sasanian w4rs etc...)

“Royal we” brilliant - I feel this individual is correct in his interpretation. I noticed Muhammad somewhere else in the Bible not the Song of Solomon but in the second one. Muhammad is referred to as the Spirit of Truth and as the Comforter and as the Advocate. Many Christians feel that this text is referring to the Spirit not Muhammad. I just had this light bulb moment reading that part. I felt very strongly that it is possible that the person that Jesus is describing could be Muhammad. The language is very clear in that section they are referring to a person that is coming at a specific moment and that person will testify about Jesus no other religions in the world recognise Jesus apart from Islam and Christianity. When people ask me why I love Islam I tell them it was Christianity and the Bible itself that led me to Islam.

I was raised in Catholic, but have always never felt that I belong in it. When I was old enough, I got the courage to stop following my family to church and take part in the church.
Spent 10 years of my life reading the bible and I have always had the feeling something was missing or hidden in the text.
Only 11 months ago, I met a Muslim who sent me this video and from that day on I was convinced this is the missing piece. May God bless this Muslim friend of mine for helping me find the missing piece.

And who is layman Deedat to make such a statement? Deedat was no scholar in classic Hebrew. Moreover he was not even officially educated at all. Never did Deedat refer to a Hebrew dictionary or scholar to prove his point.
The first mistake by Deedat is that he pronounced מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים as ‘muhamaddim’. But he is wrong, it is ‘ma-kha-madim’. So there is no pronunciation of Muhammad. Just check every high valuated Hebrew dictionary or lexicon.
The other mistake made by Deedat is that he said that ‘מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים’ is a name. Again he is very wrong because מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים is a masculine plural noun, so it is not a name. Don't be fooled, dear. Muslims are looking for legitimacy and recognition for their religion hence these desperate attempts to infuse Muhammad in the Holy Bible. This is an ignorant admission that the Bible is the inspired and true Word of God. There is no Muhammad in the Holy Bible.
I advice you to look into non Abrahamic faiths first or you will miss out on the truth . The answers are always found within , not in doctrinal laws .
Please allow me to correct the many mistakes in this video. First of about Songs of Solomon 5:16. Is Muhammad predicted in this phrase? The Hebrew text states:
חִכֹּו֙ מַֽמְתַקִּ֔ים וְכֻלֹּ֖ו מַחֲמַדִּ֑ים זֶ֤ה דֹודִי֙ וְזֶ֣ה רֵעִ֔י בְּנֹ֖ות יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃
ḥikwō maməṯaqqîm wəḵullwō maḥămadîm zeh ḏwōḏî wəzeh rē‘î bənwōṯ yərûšālāim: Translated as:
“His mouth is most sweet; he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.”
The first mistake in here is that many islamic apologists say מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים is ‘muhamaddim’. But that is wrong, it is ‘ma-kha-madim’. So there is no pronunciation of Muhammad.
The other mistake made by islamic apologists is that they say that ‘מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים' is a name. Again wrong because מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים is a masculine plural noun, so it is not a name (like יְהוִֹה, Yhvh). And because it is not a name it cannot refer to Muhammad.
Also the claim that the plural 'im' (or 'eem') in ma-kha-madim in the Hebrew language was ‘added for respect’ is in this case false. Biblical poetry is typically built on pairs of metaphors, for example "they were swifter than eagles, they were stronger than lions". In Song of Songs 5:16 it's "His mouth is most sweet, ממתקים, he is altogether lovely, מחמדים. So מחמדים, ma-kha-madim is equivalent to ממתקים, mamtaqim. So the addition ‘-im’ is just a superlative of ‘desire', so it means 'most desire'. Exactly in line with the other words in vers 16: ‘mamtaqim’ = most sweet and other places ‘partamim' = most noble.
Forms of the same Hebrew word are also used elsewhere in the Old Testament, yet Islamic ‘scholars' do not claim that those passages refer to Muhammad. Rightly so, since those verses cannot be forced to fit the notion that Muhammad is under consideration. For example, Isaiah 64:11 mourns the destruction of Jerusalem: “Our holy and beautiful temple, where our fathers praised You, is burned up with fire; and all our pleasant things are laid waste.” “Pleasant things” is a form of the same word in Song of Solomon 5:16. Would the Islamic ‘scholars' contend that Muhammad was “laid waste” in Jerusalem?
Additional occurrences of the same word are seen in 1 Kings 20:6; 2 Chronicles 36:19; Lamentations 1:10,11; Ezekiel 24:16,21,25; Hosea 9:9,16; Joel 3:5. Is in this cases also Muhammad mentioned? If yes, why? If not, why not?
So in Songs of Solomon no Muhammad.
Also the context, the Song of Solomon is about a beautiful young girl (Shulammite maiden) who is in love with a young shepherd boy. One day Solomon spots her and has her eventual brought to his residence where he tries to entice her to become another of his wives. The young shepherd follows and finds her and assures her of his love. She resist all the enticements, charms, riches, and luxurious life of a wife to the King. Finally she escapes and returns to her true love the humble shepherd boy. So it has nothing to do with Muhammad.
In this video mr Deedat claimed that prophets and spirits are the same. But he is wrong. Let's analyse 1 John 4 “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.”. But the verse is clear e.g. in the word ‘because’. In Greek “ὅτι’ = ‘hoti” which means ’that’ or ‘since’ or ‘because’. Clearly this verse only states that spirits are the result of the presence of false prophets in the world. So 1 John 4:1 clearly states that false prophets are the course and spirits are the result. That makes clear that prophets and spirits are NOT the same, they are two different types of entities. So the ignorant Deedat is wrong about this phrase.

Before Jesus, there was not salvation. People were living and dying with no purpose, but Jesus came to give us ETERNAL LIFE, all they have to do is be Baptized and follow Jesus' words to heart. Really? You really think your religion is correct? How does a supposedly morally correct religion support the s3xual assault and forced marriage of prepubescent (6 YEARS OLD) girls? Or how they claim whichever parent 0rgasms first is the one the baby will look like? Or how muhammed was intimate with a child? The other deception made by Deedat is that he said that ‘מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים' is a name. Again he is very wrong because מַחֲּמַדִּ֑ים is a masculine plural noun, so it is not a name. Again, just check every high valuated Hebrew dictionary or lexicon. And because it is not a name it is impossible that it refers to the name of ‘Muhammad’.

What I believe is that Jesus cannot be Allah or God because there is not a single verse in Bible that Jesus says "I am God" or "worship me." For us Muslims, we need a straight answer to a straight foward question. Can I ask you why there are names like Old Testament and New testament? We don't renew our Quran because it is written by our Lord Allah. I really suggest you to read our holy book. Its good for you because you can compare between Bible and Quran. And if I tell why Quran is the best book for guidance for mankind, it is because it has scientific, historical, rules and regulations, prohibitions, and many more.
For example, In Surah Baqarah chapter 2 verse 177, it says something about righteousness. In Surah Israa, verse 23-24, it says about that you should worship Allah and treat your parents like don't even say uff.
Now tell me, if a Muslim doesn't obey the commands of Allah, and does hurt others, and you people say ISLAMOPHOBIA, we can also say CHRISTIANOPHOBIA because there are some christians who also hurt others. We don't do, do we?

Except that everything he says has been put out of context! That’s not how we read the scriptures, if you want to understand the Bible, but one and read it in its entirety. And oh before I forget, the word is “machmadim” not “muhammadim” and it appears several times in the Old Testament. Does the Bible prophesy the coming of Muhammad?

ANSWER
There are three primary passages in the Bible that Muslims often point to as prophecies of the coming of Muhammad: Deuteronomy 18:15-22, Song of Solomon 5:16, and John 16:5-11.
First, in regards to Deuteronomy 18:15-22, the immediate context of this passage refers back to verses 9-14. There Moses warns the people of the danger of false prophets. God’s people are to avoid any and all who presume to speak authoritatively about spiritual truth apart from God’s truth. What is God’s truth? Verse 15 says a particular prophet will arise from the Jews (i.e., “your own brothers”) who will be like Moses. Notice that it’s not just any prophet, as there have been many, but a special prophet. People who studied and believed the Old Testament writings were looking for this particular, special prophet. In fact, some Jewish leaders thought the fiery preacher John the Baptist might be the fulfillment of Moses’ prophecy (see John 1:19-30). John the Baptist, however, said that he was the forerunner of the prophet of whom Moses spoke, not the prophet Himself.
Who then is this prophet spoken of in the Bible? He is clearly none other than the Lord Jesus Christ. John 1:43-45 records that the early followers of Jesus understood He was the prophet of whom Moses wrote. Jesus Himself declared this about Himself (Luke 24:27). The most complete statement pointing to Jesus as the promised prophet is found in Acts 3:12-26. The deacon, Stephen, reiterated this in Acts 7:37. Such notable men as John the Baptist, Philip, Peter, and Stephen all testified that Jesus Christ, not Muhammad, is the prophet predicted in Deuteronomy 18:15-22.
Second, in Song of Solomon 5:16, the maiden says of her lover, "His mouth is sweetness itself; he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, this is my friend, daughters of Jerusalem." The word translated as "lovely" is the Hebrew word machamadim. It is the plural of machamad, which means “lovely, cute, or desirable.” Although it is the root word of Muhammad, it does not follow that the verse refers to Muhammad, especially since the word used is a plural adjective, not the name of a person.
Finally, in John 16:5-11, Jesus prophesies that after He leaves, the Counselor will come, and this Counselor will “convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment” (John 16:8). Who is this Counselor? Jesus Himself gives the answer a few verses later in John 16:13, “But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth…” Jesus explicitly identifies the Counselor as the Holy Spirit. Jesus previously had used very similar terminology to predict the coming of the Holy Spirit: “But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name…” (John 14:26). It is abundantly clear in the Bible that the Counselor Jesus prophesied was the Holy Spirit, not Muhammad.
In conclusion, the Bible nowhere specifically predicts the coming of Muhammad. Muhammad was not the prophet Moses predicted, and Muhammad was not the Counselor Jesus predicted. Since the message of Muhammad contradicts the message of Jesus and the Bible on many points, the only biblical prophecy that would apply to the coming of Muhammad would be Matthew 24:11, “And many false prophets will appear and deceive many people…”

@@GodIsATrinity Why not show us a verse that says God actually says He will become a man by being born of a virgin and dies from being hanged on a tree and He will be ascending to Himself and He will sit on His right hand? Jewish traditions doesn't support this nonsense. In Jeremiah alone, it clearly says the Messiah shall never be hurt or taste death in the hands of his enemies. That messiah is a normal human being from king David's lineage in which jesus orGod didn't come from. Read your bible properly. Allah, Ellah, Ila, Eloh, Eloi are ALL semitic words for god. While the word "god" is not even spoken as an address of respect and reverence to the Creator.
