Two introverts, sensitive people find each other. I just rewatched it, first jumping across scenes, randomly, but eventually zooming in, and it is more meaningful this time cos the subtely is more pronounced. I salute the writer(s) and the actors who can translate the lines into such embodiment. In the world when frankness, being extrovert seems to be more valued, this drama reminds me that thoughtfulness can only emerge from a centered self. Song-ha chooses to retreat to herself first, finding that self worth and self love again, after being so confused hearing others' voices. Joonyoong allows her to have that space. Both trust what is unfolding. The silence between them speaks loud; somehow it reminds me (energetically although on much different level of artistry) of Wong Karwai's In The Mood for Love.
