      Thanks Gav, I can imagine it being presented as a rare Halidonian artifact and so worth at least $5.00 😛 I have also put plaques on the kids as i was getting their names mixed up too often!!! Cheers

    I really enjoyed watching the video as always very entertaining. Its certainly taking shape will look forward to the next update. Steve said he cut that branch but he bullied me into not telling you 😂😂😂

      Thanks Greg, getting there slowly, hopefully the pace picks up a bit now. I suspected that it was Motty, absolute giveaway, the cut loked like it was made with an exacto blade, and it wasnt square, typical Motty method 😝😝😝

    That looks fantastic - can't wait to see what else you do with it.
    Nameplate looks great - like a proper old bit of metal.
    And inches - I work in inches, or British as it's more commonly known.

      Thankyou my friend, i was happy with the name plate too. I started life with inches, but then they changed to metric, i can do measurement conversions in my head,, but have no clue about the rest 😂

    I thoroughly enjoyed that. Your method of making the cobblestones was particularly impressive. A slight refinement might be to use several different tools to get more variation in size & shape, perhaps? I like the idea of a hidden electronics drawer in the base, it's very neat & tidy and you never know when you might need to replace a component.
    I'm glad you escaped the falling branch- that could have been very nasty.

    • @HalidonDioramas
      @HalidonDioramas  3 роки тому

      Thanks Ian, I agree there is more work to be dome on the cobble stone stamping, i have a few ideas so will tinker with them for future use, definately need more variation, im thinking a resin stamp that you can rotate and the edges will always match up with the last stamping no matter what direction it is in, needs more work for sure 😀 You are spot on with the wiring, i dont think i explained it very well, but moved from everything being hard wired to a very modulat set up for that very reason, plus with the clip in joiners you muct loose a bit of voltage along the way cos i had no further bulb burnouts once i did all that. Im scared to go outside now, between the snakes and the spiders and the drop bears, now trees are trying to kill me 😂😂😂

      @@HalidonDioramas Doesn't all flora & fauna in Oz try to kill people? All ten of the world's most poisonous snakes live there, apparently, and then at the beach you've got stonefish, Portuguese men o' war, and of course, the box jellyfish. I'm glad I live on the opposite side of the globe!
      I now have all the components I need to add lights to things, but haven't decided what I'm going to put lights in yet.
      As well as your channel, I'm subscribed to SteamGeezer & Son, he's worth checking out if you haven't done so already, I've learned an awful lot from him and some of his ideas have inspired my own slightly different projects.
      And I've just realised that it's nearly 11pm here and your reply is from tomorrow!

    Ammos Brass is the best I've got I've got one from each company the AK 3rd gens are better for the brush on than any of the others so both have advantages ammos just needs a good shake it's got a BB in bottle definitely needs it but no problems with airbrushing with it
