If you are recording for videos and need defense i could lend you my services to make sure you get smooth videos. Also, I buy my hacking cards at ArcCorp and then hack the security station on Lyria. Less people and more frame rate. The only issue is you need to watch out for the turrets outside the bunker so there is a bit more fighting, but I've never met another player out there so that eases my mind.
What? In 3.6 we are now officially TELEPORTING in the lifts. You can choose whatever hangar you want to be from any lift. And it is shown in the video.
10:40 yeah that looked so dumb, didnt it? No laws of physics. Yep, hover mode was needed. Even if it needs improvement, its true we cant go back to the old arcade ways.
Indeed. Looks to me like everyday helicopter in BF2/GTA... How people complains about this eludes me. Granted, I'm not a backer but still, judging from the video, Hover Mode is a gem.
Yep, the discrepancy was ridiculously through the roof, anyone who looked at that would instantly think.... "that's not right", and now you have the effects of gravity playing a part on your ship positioning. Looks a lot better now, and seems to play like any VTOL aircraft should.
However we do not have rotating lift discs on top of our ships. Ships like the gladius should require more individual thruster power to retain attitude. Then when those thrusters begin overheating the ship should start to lose the ability to remain stationary. Pilot would need to pull out and circle back. This would be exacerbated by any unlevel hover since that would put more stress on some thrusters. Ships like the reliant should be able to hover indefinitely due to the vtol engines. I do like hover mode but I also spent a lot of time in DCS Blackshark when it came out.
@@Power5 while I agree for sure, this is the intention, they already stated this in previous ATVs, ships with main engines that can provide VTOL flight, will be able to hover for extended amounts of time, while a Gladius, will suffer from overheating and increased wear on their maneuvering thrusters. So let's see how it will be implemented.
@@AdolfoWWolf right, I forgot to specify a bit. When a helicopter, with only a single lifting rotor on top, tilts forward, the lift rotor tilts. So instead of thrusting upwards it has a vector perpendicular to the new pitch. Our ships have multiple thrusters. So when we pitch the thrusters should be capable of differing their outputs to remain stationary. This would be the job of our avionics computers. Ooh look, a reason to upgrade them. Hover stability, and maybe at the cost of added wear on thrusters. Again a gladius would suffer in hover even with the best hover flight controller. A reliant would be able to attain better hover with cheaper avionics computers and thrusters.

I don't like that all elevators go to all locations now, feels weird and takes away from the fun of actually using the right elevators for me. But I get that I am a minority in this.
From the point of view of realism, it makes no sense that all elevators, wherever their starting point is, can reach all destinations. What would happen if I am in elevator 01 to go to pad 01 and another person is in elevator 04 also going to pad 01? Would our cabins collide? Are we going to appear both, magically, at the destination point? Has no sense. How would the ductwork network have to be to make 8 elevators reach all 8 different possible destination points?. From the playable point of view, why do you give me numbered elevators if everyone has the ability to take me everywhere?. How difficult is it to make elevators move realistically (as in this 3.6) but with the logic of origin-destiny of always?.

These modules are just small enough to be man handled in and out of their holding cubby holes or repaired by the player once repairing becomes a thing in the game. Great video as always. I like what you did with the videos and the music when you showed the gladius changes. Looked like the scene in the squadron 42 trailer. This almost looks like it could be a tutorial as well as a show off of how good star citizen is looking these days. You clearly went over new ship handling as well as hacking and I always see people asking how these work. They could just watch this and get an understanding of what to do while admiring the visuals. Pretty awesome and clearly done without words.
instead of continually change ships look, they shoud try to add working gameplay. But I know it is easy to change the graphic of some poligons than program working gamelay.
This video also showed hover mode, which was new gameplay. It also did not show the addition of the law system, security forces, and added contraband materials and locations. I wish the gameplay would go faster too, but to suggest they aren't adding working gameplay is a bit inaccurate.
@@SpaceTomato I agree with you. However I would point out that some of those things are actually mechanics and not so much gameplay. But everything else is correct.

spasibo my dude, always love your comparisons, ru community is an asset to the game

thx
This was great and the overlays showing time, train destinations, and other things were just awesome. Great job!
Саня молоток.
Nice, I really enjoyed the hover mode visuals as I have only read about it so far.
LOVE IT!
So basically this non-gameplay game got even better GRAPHICS.
GG. Perfect priorities by Roberto Christiano.
Разрабы собирают деньги и втихаря посмеиваясь, меняют текстуры местами передвигая виртуальные лампочки с места на место. А народ и рот разинул))))
instead of continually change ships look, they shoud try to add working gameplay.
