Do they price rooms, flight, food costs and factor how much taxes they will have to pay? Residual income means you finished work like a book or a song and it is DONE and you are receiving royalties from sales--texting all your former college friends and begging them to buy some crappy shampoo is not it... :v
Ughhhhh literally. I work a high demand job currently and im literally leaving it cuz I can’t be gone literally 10 hours a day and then come home exhausted
Building generational wealth is NO easy feat. A network marketing company is not one of those things that will help you build that. Lawd this woman 🤦🏽♀️
'That was a limiting mindset'... that was just your parents telling you that your family is poor. That's not a personal development story, that's a 'the world sucks sometimes' story, and the only way out of that is to get work that pays more. Aka not an MLM.
Let's be perfectly clear--UNLESS SOMEONE IS A TRAUMA-INFORMED LICENSED THERAPIST (or more qualified), THEY SHOULD NOT BE TALKING TO YOU, IN ANY CAPACITY, ABOUT MINDSET OR HEALING YOUR TRAUMA, OR EVEN YOUR TRAUMA AT ALL.
Oh my goodness , therapist do the work . It cost thousands to go to school to do that and they don’t get paid much . It’s crazy how many people do pieces of self help and apply it to social media . Doing trauma work for PTSD is WORK . To change your mindset and correct maladaptive behavior patterns takes years to correct . You just can’t read a book and think you go it figured out . Listening to a motivational speaker and thinking you go it figured out is so false .
Agreed! People on the internet read a few self help books and think they know all. TikTok is the worst with unlicensed people thinking they’d are some kinda pseudo-psychologist …it’s honestly dangerous.
Girl. Your parents not having enough money to buy something you want is not a limiting belief. That's reality. Them telling you money doesn't grow on trees is a roundabout way of teaching money management. Gracious.
With the way she worded it I'm just hoping she wasn't trying to say that her parents supposed 'limiting beliefs of "money doesn't grow on trees," and other similar idioms were the source of her childhood trauma... 😳
As someone working through extreme childhood trauma right now because I have no choice, it is super dangerous and can bring up a lot of past emotions that got buried. It should be done with professionals only and not through your MLM or job
I watched LuLaRich and they talked about “retiring” the husband as a way to make the family even more dependent upon the MLM. It also isolate the family even more from the outside world.
I might be nuts, but I consider my residual income my RRSP, pension, savings, etc. Also, the "retiring" your partner thing is weird to me. If you're like 25, how do you know you'll never have to go back to work again.
EXACTLY! Also, totally agree with Chelsea on the WHAT/WHY the heck they think that even means...at that age are these "retirees" gonna be spending the days playing video games and going to the local strip club?!? It's one thing to be able to stop a certain type of job to work a bit less at one more enjoyable, but people NEED purpose and a certain amount of "healthy stress" in their lives to have balance and appreciate the hobbies. If a person eats just cake every day it gets real old, real quick...lastly, I can see why SOOO MANY people sent this vid in...oh dear 🤔🤦🏼♀️
The way they try to deceive us into thinking they live a lavish and fulfilling life is really sad. It’s like they’re trying to convince us so they can be convinced themselves. When you’re conditioned to think that the structure you’re in is THE place you have to be in (this applies to a religious cult too), there’s this internal conflict where you don’t want to be wrong even if everything points that you are.
“Money doesn’t grow on trees” is not a limited mindset, it’s a fact! Not enough money to go around is also true only because some people have a large amount and don’t share with those that have less.
I read something along the line... If we distribute all money equally very soon it will end the it is right now. According economist, most of the people go through financial struggles because of mismanagment
I think this young lady has been sold the dream and now she is trying to sell the dream by regurgitating the catchphrases that she learned from her mlm upline.
ive worked for 23 years and retired from the military and now i can sit back and get a check for the rest of my life so working hard on a job does pay off. i wish they would stop talking bad about jobs
The personal growth/development BS gives me horrible flashbacks to a restaurant job I had (I am a Chef) where my boss/the owner of the company wanted us to read personal development books and bought them for all the chefs in the company and paid us $100 if we read it and wrote a paper on it as well as made us take enneagram/personality tests and then discuss our results. I worked 60 hours a week and she wanted to preach to me about personal development and work life balance, etc. Needless to say I felt like I was in a cult and put my 2 weeks in shortly after and always believed she’d be real great in an MLM and these videos always confirm that.
Them touching their faces so much (especially the girls in MLMs) just shows YET AGAIN that they are NOT hair and skin experts. They are not educated at allllllll and should not be selling or recommending products like this to anyone. As a licensed cosmetologist, it pisses me off to no end watching them pretend they know anything about hair or skin
Lol "no more learning", what a joke. This may be specific to my industry but every company I've worked at, they were always offering classes and trainings, whether on a new product, a previous product, a process, diversity, leadership, etc. We never stop learning, if we do, we won't be successful. At my current company, they pay for my degree 100% - so I'm finishing up my masters AND taking classes at work on the theories behind our products. So I'm always learning. Where did she work where there was "no more learning?" Also, she took a year off ... but it wasn't to keep learning. In the words of many mlmhuns "make it make sense!"
I've been at my job for a couple years now and have learned a lot, both on accident and on purpose. Most companies want you to learn more and grow because it's mutually beneficial for the employee and the company.
It's called experience. I'm a lot better at my job than I was when I first joined, and a lot better at my professional field than I was when I started at that..
mine offers plenty - some I take advantage of, and some I don't. one of my friends was paid by her job to do two extensive certifications that would make it easier to find a different job and leave that company in the future.

This doesn’t apply much to this video but I strive to have the confidence Chelsea has. And I love how supportive you are. I know the spiciness makes people see it a different way but I see that you just want the best for people.
I just cannot consider an mlm a side hustle idc how much they preach. My side hustle is baking. It just makes me wonder if they haven't ever tried to figure out what they were actually good at before they were brainwashed. Also so glad I found your channel! Loving the content.
I work in corporate at one of the biggest accounting firms in the US. Not only do we get benefits like healthcare/dental which MLM huns could never dream of but also, many large firms pay for you to take classes towards a masters or CPA or even just different coding lanuages. It's also a typical 9-5, so after 5 my time is MINE. I understand work is overwhelming but I hate how much they demonize a normal job when for many people, that schedule and stability is really comforting.
@@jojol.2630 yes its in the big 4! Been here a year and its been good but totally understand that everyone’s experience varies :) was mostly just annoyed by the MLM huns assumption that you can’t learn new things in a corporate job.
Dude that comment about the housing market was on point, I currently have a lot of clients being bombarded with offers from “investors” looking to pay top dollar for their home and I always ask them where they are going to move after the sale because those “investors” are also buying up property in the neighborhoods they want to move into driving up the price over there too. This girl is on the dream of retiring her husband but thankfully it looks like that man knows how to steer the titanic while she’s steady trying to crash into the iceberg, highly doubt investment homes were an idea of hers and if it was that’s exactly why the housing market is going to shit.
How is your parents telling you that money doesn't grow on trees a limiting belief? That is a straight up fact! I have never been taking a walk in the woods and come up on a tree that is growing 100 dollar bills instead of leaves! I wish but I live in reality.
I’ve taken a year off from corporate America (yay sugar daddy) but honestly I feel more lost now then I did when I had my job. I’m a very scheduled oriented person, but lack personal responsibility when there’s little reason to. I think about getting a job just for the stability of routine. Hobbies and shit mean a lot less when they’re all you do imo.
“Hobbies and shit mean a lot less when they’re all you do”. Love that you said this! Absolutely true. Didn’t work during pandemic and the things I enjoyed doing at home eventually got boring and not fun.
A lot of people say we humans are lazy but we aren't actually. We need to work, we need to do manual labour/exercise or meet a mental challenge. We thrive when we are busy with some downtime to recharge.
I would struggle the same not having a regular job. someone would have to help me create a new routine. I wish I had more time to invest in things outside work, so i know there are a lot of things I could do if I were not fully employed. Getting myself to do actually do them would be hard.
If you enjoyed your job, why did you leave? I bet she makes significantly less money in the mlm. Your job would have let you take a leave most likely. Selling overpriced products isn't exactly what I would call taking care of yourself and working on yourself ma'am
MLMs are so funny cause half the time I don’t even know what they are trying to sell. It’s so much more focused on recruiting than it is explaining the product lOL
It never ceases to amaze me that they believe everyone hates a 9-5 or should hate their job in general and quit to join an mlm...like bruh, if you're smart with your money, make investments and manage your time well you're probably waaay happier that anyone in an mlm and not to mention actually get pay and benefits...delusional.
It blows my mind that these girls once they join don’t realize the same yucky tactics were used on them to join. When does it become okay for a business to encourage you to make videos and LIE about your finances? The amount of embellishing you have to do daily has to be hard on your mental health. It appears your entire life becomes a lie. For what ? The small chance you might make it ? As my granny would say Bless her heart.
Well this was another lovely surprise! Loving all these videos popping up so often. Also, you are looking so happy and healthy lately and that makes my heart glad. ❤️ P.S - thanks for letting us know in the previous video that those of us outside the US could submit comments to the FTC. I had no idea but I was straight on it after that! 🇬🇧
At the end she slips in that she looks forward to Friday now that she has a corporate job AGAIN. That means currently! Does that mean her MLM (I didn’t catch which one, Monat? It doesn’t matter) just isn’t quite doing it for her? But she claims to make $30,000 a year with her MLM! Why does she have a corporate job again if she’s singing the praises of her MLM.
I'm confused by her timelines. It doesn't sound like Monat was ever her main source of income, at least not for a long period of time. $12K a year from a side hustle is fantastic money but if she was working a 9-5 plus Monat no wonder she had a breakdown. I can't imagine how much work she had to do to get the $12K.
Touching your face is a sign of lying. Liars touch their face due to experiencing stress, cognitive overload and it’s a fight or flight response. “I’m so happy.” Touches face… It all makes sense.
I notice when I’m under a lot of stress in a meeting with the principal about my students’ data, I tend to touch my face a lot. I wonder if it shows my principal that I’m lying when I’m really not. It’s just that I move my hands a lot and I have ADHD/anxiety. I guess it’s a fight response for me LOL.
MLMs, aside from their obvious problems, just sound super exhausting. That's way too much fakery and forced self-help and flapping your gums for no particular reason aside from recruiting and building your downline. I'm a Systems Engineer and I work from home. I speak to my coworkers for like 20 mins every day in the morning during our team standup. And you can bet that during those 20 minutes, nobody talks about their feelings and childhood struggles and self-image and stuff lol. These people give all 9-5's such a bad rep.
UGH haha I HATE that universal hand pose under the chin that they all seem to have adopted- no doubt in an attempt to make them look more ‘sophisticated’ or some shit - but just stop that , stop , it’s gross and it looks so unnatural ! 😂🤦🏻♀️ EDIT - it also sounds like her “limiting beliefs “ taught to her was more like budgeting ??
When she starts off with “I want to talk about your exit strategy for freedom” I was like YAS girl, give these huns an exit strategy to escape their culty MLMs!….oh, that’s not where this is going at all…
The 'limiting beliefs" and "personal growth" most mlmers talk about are what the rest of us call shame and scruples. MLMs teach you how to shed your ethics and conscience so you can recruit your way up.
Chelsea... girl! You are sooo gorgeous! I seriously look forward to your videos so much. I was having a stressful day at work and watching your vids is the perfect way to decompress. Thank you for all that you do!

I did submit, even if I'm from Europe. I had problems with two of them (Avon and a 'wellness coaching' one) and that had me so bitter and sad I have been super wary of any job email coming in my inbox... how can an MLM put job announcements on legit websites? How predatory is that???Since they keep shitting on '9 to 5' they shouldn't even submit there, stay in social media DMs hun, do not act like your 'opportunity' is a real job please!
@@laurakate6573 No, it sounded like a weird subscription service Like FitFabItaly or similar.

I honestly can’t stand when they say “retire my husband”, it’s just so cringe to me 😩
Ikr, like. Is he a lawnmower? A microwave? Why are you “retiring your husband”.
@@heatherforster5962 Yes, thanks for fleshing that out more. Well said.
Touching your face/chin is one of the most common tells of lying- that’s why they all do it 😂
Oh snap!!!😮😂
As someone working through extreme childhood trauma right now because I have no choice, it is super dangerous and can bring up a lot of past emotions that got buried. It should be done with professionals only and not through your MLM or job
💯💯
LITERALLY! Like you’re only TWENTY-FIVE girlfriend so chill out😅😅 our brains aren’t even fully developed until we’re 25… slooooow down🤓 geez

“I wanna take a year off…..”
If I did that, I’d be homeless. I gotta pay the bills.
Also, I’d be bored as hell.
"Money doesn't grow on trees is a limiting belief!" The trauma of realizing the Money Tree from The Sims games isn't real
She says she helps people EARN free trips. Doesn't she know that's an oxymoron?!

I just cannot consider an mlm a side hustle idc how much they preach. My side hustle is baking. It just makes me wonder if they haven't ever tried to figure out what they were actually good at before they were brainwashed.
Also so glad I found your channel! Loving the content.
Excellent point. A side hustle to me is monetizing a hobby you enjoy.
Are you at one of the Big 4? I always hear the opposite, little pay and massive hours
4:00 whenever I hear limiting beliefs my mind goes right to Scientology
They leave 9 to 5 jobs to spend every day and night working but claim to have “freedom!” 😂
I’ve never heard someone talk so much and say so little!!!! 🙄🙄🙄 she’s learned NOTHING in her 25 yrs!
Do you by chance have adhd?
A lot of people say we humans are lazy but we aren't actually.
We need to work, we need to do manual labour/exercise or meet a mental challenge.
We thrive when we are busy with some downtime to recharge.
@@ElinWinblad never been diagnosed but my inability to focus on one task at a time makes me think that’s the case
That scene where Joey ("Baby Kangaroo Tribiani" lol) uses a thesaurus for the first time was hilarious and a great analogy for her LinkedIn.
The capitalist consumerism focus of MLM's is probably what I hate the most about them.
That's such a shame, she's such a beautiful woman, and she's buying into this cult nonsense. I hope she sees this and sees the light.
Still to this day…
Mlm Huns: Retire your husband!
Me (to myself): *Remember that they do not mean KILL their husband. Even though it sounds like it.*
Well this was another lovely surprise! Loving all these videos popping up so often. Also, you are looking so happy and healthy lately and that makes my heart glad. ❤️
P.S - thanks for letting us know in the previous video that those of us outside the US could submit comments to the FTC.
LOL Chelsea's random hand to face gestures throughout the video. Gold.
MLM’ers whole motto is “fake it till I maybe make it” 😂
Touching your face is a sign of lying. Liars touch their face due to experiencing stress, cognitive overload and it’s a fight or flight response.
“I’m so happy.” Touches face…
It all makes sense.

The 'limiting beliefs" and "personal growth" most mlmers talk about are what the rest of us call shame and scruples. MLMs teach you how to shed your ethics and conscience so you can recruit your way up.
Yaaass another video from the queen of the couch people 💕

I picture her saying she is blessed to be able to do her side gig while on what most people would consider maternity leave.

Something’s not right about that statement.
It sounds like she has to work her real estate business and 9-5 job in order to afford her MLM scam… oh the freedom!!

You can have that positive mentality while working a regular job, saving towards a real business! If MLMs were the deal, everyone would be “working” at one. Plain amd simple!
How dare she be told that “money doesn’t grow on trees”?!?!? 😂
This is just a bummer. As someone who created my own online service based business making over 6 figures a year for years now, I feel like she could just do her own thing and grow it so much faster. People just DON’T need the MLM to get where they want to go. There are so many other options.
I have same opinion. The amount of time and money they invest with MLM insane. They could do much better with half time and money if they do it on their own
She should look in her garage at how much of her own product she has.
MLM's do not provide residual income. When are they going to understand that. You work 24/7 to maintain the income. There's no set it and forget it.
My parents taught me money doesn’t grow on trees but now with MLM’s you can scam people for barely any money for free so my parents lied
what i dont understand is if she makes soooo much money from the MLM shit, why did she have to go back to her big bad meany corporate job?
She has a close-minded way of thinking. Everyone isn't trying to be a millionaire and everyone definitely isn't trying to hang around them all the time. I hang around people who are down to earth and are fun and these people may have more or less money than me. Girl be quiet, smh
