- One has to wonder why the European RV builders are so far ahead in floor plan layout, functionality, and build quality than their American rivals. Sadly, these RVs are NOT available in the USA as of 2024 that we are aware of.

That small small rig in this video is based on the Ford Transit Custom. That model has never been available in the U.S. However, I do believe it is available in the Mexican market, and Ford may even build them there.
I would love that minivan as a daily driver and weekend travel van
There are currently no new small vans being sold in the U.S. Therefore, the chance of seeing a build like the one in the vid, at least new, is zero.
Looking at the HYMER website, this van would be about $240k
Scott, we're you kidding about your guess price of $100k? I don't have a class B but do want one but price point has been the limiting factor. At $100k for that Hymer, I will get one right now.

Lovely Video. The shower of your first car, will show up by pushing the middle wall to the side 😅 And the „hydraulic machine“ is the air compressor for the inflatable roof.

Love the little Van- there are a few indie builders doing this with Metris vans in the US (Peace Vans) but nothing high-volume.

Love the innovation, the big Hymer is really cool...pricey...but then so is the Hilt. 😬That microvan is the coolest little van! Too bad both Ford and Ram have stopped selling their variation in the US, it would have been a cool build option here.
While you are correct that both Ford and Ram have dropped their small vans in the U.S., the small ford in this video is a Ford Transit Custom. The Custom has never been available in the North American market.

I am assuming you are in the U.S. - so good luck. There are currently no new small vans being sold in the U.S. - zero. Google "Chicken Tax" and you will know the main reason for that. You may want to contact your "representatives" in Congress and suggest that this tariff be repealed. It's a ridiculous law that dates back to 1964 I believe, and it is still on the books.
