I own a '74 Bronco and decided on a ''24 Wrangler 392 versus the Braptor. Miy 392 is the same color, (which I love) but paid nowhere near $104,000 (still way too expensive, but think $25k less). If you do some shopping around, there are deals...got mine for 7% under invoice.

Yeah, part of what you pay for is exclusivity which you lose when they open sales up again. It's the final edition just kidding. I'd be furious if I purchased one under the impression that it was exclusive.

This is a huge contrast to the standard V6 which takes an hour to get up to speed. Obviously once you’re used to driving the vehicle, it’s manageable, but my point was that if any regular person just hops in and floors it, it could be a bad day.
I love that soundtrack. But as for mods- just give me the engine and I’ll do the rest. The memories you make with those that help you modify it last of lifetime and that is half the fun.

Quick question and I’m hoping that you can answer it for me. I have a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited on 37 inch tires with a 4 inch lift and a bunch of other off-road goodies. Are any of these options for this last year of the 392 available as aftermarket accessories for my current year Wrangler such as the onboard air compressor?
Saved up and did a swap on my 2015 AEV Rubicon thru AMW4x4 / Northridge in Silverdale WA .. .. 6.4 hemi, 8 spd tranny, Steer smart drag link, tie rod and track bar, Currie D60 rear and Currier D44 from w/ 4.56 gears, Adams drive shafts w/ a hellwig heavy duty rear sway bar .. Ran me $60k and I have my original chassis which I prefer .. Thing is a monster and running 500+ hp and saved over 40k instead of picking up a 392 w/ all that extra electronic junk ..
I'd rather get everything from the dealership. I'm not mechanically inclined. People complain about dealerships but at least everything would be under warranty at one place. Instead of getting the upgrades at several different places.

In my area on public roads in the PNW I see way more 392s than BRs but always thought maybe the BR had better road manners due to the independent front suspension. The allure of the pushrod V8 I suppose wins out even if there were differences.

No way would I pay $106,000 for a Wrangler. Even $85,000 for a 392 is not worth that amount. I've owned Jeeps since 2005 and always purchased a Wrangler Rubicon. I've had the Call of Duty that was to be a collectors edition and later traded for a special ordered Wrangler Rubicon Recon that was also to be worth money. So now I just purchase a Wrangler Rubicon. Obviously with the diff locks on, it would have been a breeze. They ultimately save your vehicle and you don't end up bashing it too hard, and your tires too.
I am so torn! It's between a 392 and a Yukon D.....I have kids.... and need a family a car. So have to choose between my Dream,...and what my Family needs. :(
I'd rather buy the perfect vehicle from the dealer, but this one is too pricey for me. The Chevy Colorado ZR2 Bison is that type of vehicle for me and one I want and can afford. But I gotta stick to my 4Runner TRD Pro as it's just a better choice for my lifestyle with my dogs.

the "leather seats" will melt...the brakes are not the best in emergency stopping at any speeds, lower grade jeeps have air conditioned seats, i could go on and on as I have owned nearly every jeep ever made, save the money, sadly this jeep is a clout ride, that's it. A standard Rubicon with a 6 cylinder tuned performs just as well if not better i.m.o....any one else notice what skid plates are and aren't there now? and why is the exhaust on all of these all crooked at the tips? ......

I couldn't justify spending all that money for what you get in return...Plus you get two stop lights to the gallon....Doge / Jeep are always way over priced...You can get a top of the line 2500 4x4 pickup with a diesel engine that will last 20 years for that money.
I had a difficult choice recently. To spend $100K for off roader or more track oriented machine. And....I got BMW M Performance. Obviously I decided off-roading is not a big priority for now. Perhaps, you are curious why BMW won vs Jeep and Land cruisers? Mainly because for the price of $100K BMW gives you a perfection. Yes, it is not an off roader, but who cares, when the car accelerates from 0 to 60 in just 4 seconds. And one can go shopping with the same car in comfort mode :)

A Jeep Wrangler 392, build your on Jeep, but there are also other options, BMW x7 M60 Competition, Porsche Cayenne, and for a bit more $ you have a Porsche 911.

I viewed one Jeep dealership offering $8k off the MSRP plus another $5k dealership incentive. Yes, that’s on a silver 2024 392 Wrangler.

You can find the gear ratios of all of those online and after that it’s just math.
