It's true though black is clearly only people who are descendants of slaves that were freed in the war of states rights. Disclaimer: This is sarcasm for those that don't understand.
@Diinytro Right. It's the main talking point by Foundational Black Americans (FBA). I don't subscribe to all their ideas (majority of it is unhinged), but I get this basic point. Basically, when they say Black Americans, they mean specifically those that are descendants of Africans brought to the United States during the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade. FBA has named "Black Americans" an ethnicity. It's been confusing other members of the African diaspora A LOT. Because they're being told they're not Black when what the FBA folks mean is they're not specifically "Black American" or African descendants of US slavery.
The problem here seems to be people (including Vaush) assuming that Jamaican = Black. When it's a nationality, there are Jamaican people who aren't black...

"They're aborting after birth even" ah yes, they're allowing abortions at 15, 37, 48, 57, even 397 months. Many people are saying even at 422 months, everyone is saying this. Sad.
The situation republicans are mischaracterizing as an "abortion after birth" is not an abortion in any way. They're protesting a parent being able to make the decision to stop attempts to resuscitate an infant with a severe fatal condition and instead give palliative care to make them comfortable until they pass away naturally...as opposed to torturing the infant with pointless attempts to keep it alive that just make its short time on earth horrific and painful. To take away what little quality of life the infant could have while putting the parents through the anguish of watching their wanted newborn suffer needlessly because some politician wanted to turn this situation into a political talking point against abortion is the very definition of evil. And regarding abortions in the 8th or 9th month, if the fetus is viable and can survive on its own but the mother does not want to continue the pregnancy, no abortion doctor anywhere will intentionally kill a fully formed healthy fetus in the 9th month. That becomes a birth and adoption scenario. Abortions done that late are always due to some sort of severe fetal anomoly.

Cognitive dissonance, it’s very common among people who reach their conclusions not based on logic but rather emotion. A logically constructed position will have virtually no conflicting stances.
Same way he simultaneously believes that he was the greatest president ever and turned America into a shining beacon of civilisation and that America became a horrifying apocalyptic hellscape the second he left office.
He's essentially admitting Vance is just a figurehead and a puppet by saying he doesnt matter and doesnt affect anything. The reporter was asking that question specifically because if anything happens to the president the vice president steps up. She was asking if he trusts Vance to be a good president should anything happen to him. His answer was basically "no, better hope nothing happens to me"

11:40 "The concept of a mixed race person doesn't really exist in the GOP framework" As a mixed person myself (mom is white, dad is black), I feel like it doesn't actually exist to most people. I can be a lot of things - black, light-skin, mulatto, bi-racial, mixed, brown, Jamaican, or even part-German - but I can't be white. Most people I meet still see me as black based on appearances. One Drop Rule is definitely how many people feel to this day, and I don't think it's always malicious, but it's definitely there. For the most part, I'm black when people want or need me to be, and "non-white" when they don't.
Wouldn’t the one drop rule mean that she is both fully black and fully Indian? Surely the one drop would apply regardless of which minority group you’re a part of.
Same for me, but I’m half white and half Latina. Apparently I’m Latina enough for people to make border-hopping jokes at my expense and to my face, but too white to be offended and call them on it. Growing up, being both often felt like I wasn’t recognized as a member of either
I've noticed though that the mixed race confusion gets worse if one of the parents is white. If your parents are both non white but different races you tend to get both respected as a part of you. It reminds me how most people see white not as a race but as a lack of race. So when you mix it w anything else you get that race.
Only Americans would think that ‘black’ only applied to African Americans. There are black people all over the world. You can be black and British. You can be black and Portuguese. And yes - a black person from Jamaica is STILL BLACK. There’s a world outside of the U.S. guys.

Because he basically uses it as one. We all know what he really means when he says things like "black jobs". And that's why he couldn't explain it. Trump claimed Obama wasn't a US citizen in 2012, when he previously ran for office he called African countries "shitholes*. It's true though black is clearly only people who are descendants of slaves that were freed in the war of states rights.
Disclaimer:
This is sarcasm for those that don't understand.
I think when some people say/write "Black" what they may actually mean is "African-American".
Are you telling me a majority of the population descending from black slaves doesn't make them black?

I have to pay to keep it fueled, to maintain it, to insure it, I have to pay for parking, and I have to set aside money to buy a new one eventually because this one will eventually be more costly to maintain than it's worth. The worst of it is that I live on a road that used to have a tram 100 years ago. That rail used to go right to where I work. Great job, auto industry.

"They're aborting after birth even" ah yes, they're allowing abortions at 15, 37, 48, 57, even 397 months. Many people are saying even at 422 months, everyone is saying this. Sad.
"I don't want to play with you anymore"
Yeah, guys come into schools with guns and perform post-birth abortions all the time.
Abortions at 35 years? That's crazy! What is the radical left doing to our 35 year old babies?!
My grandmother was even aborted at 956 months old. 😞
I like how when asked about JD Vance Trump says the VP doesn’t matter and doesn’t affect anything. But somehow Harris was the worst VP ever and did a horrible job?

He's essentially admitting Vance is just a figurehead and a puppet by saying he doesnt matter and doesnt affect anything. The reporter was asking that question specifically because if anything happens to the president the vice president steps up. She was asking if he trusts Vance to be a good president should anything happen to him. His answer was basically "no, better hope nothing happens to me"

As a mixed person myself (mom is white, dad is black), I feel like it doesn't actually exist to most people.
Same boat. You're completely right. I'm never considered myself white because no one considers me white anyway so. 🤷🏽♀️
@@Leviathan1216you're colored enough to be at risk but not colored enough to sit at the cool kids table. I get it man.
I've noticed though that the mixed race confusion gets worse if one of the parents is white. If your parents are both non white but different races you tend to get both respected as a part of you.
