Yeah I believe you got me onto these . I now own like 3 also . The gray Bhq slicer and a clip point natural both ad20.5’s & I had to hunt down a magna cut ad20s in red . The g10 on it does feel too good to take off I agree . Now I’m thinking about the shark foot ad20.5 in titanium .
Yes, in my opinion you are on the money with the discussion between g10/Ti on the AD20. Right now I have 3 in Ti and 2 in G10 and the weight AND balance is better on the g10 variants. Of course the balance varies slightly with blade type but overall it is true. However, the sound on the titanium ones is to die for 😎
Awesome lock. As a lefty, I always appreciate true ambi designs. For some reason, the 20.5 pinches my hand when I open it. I don’t have that issue with the standard size or the Shark Cub. I think the Shark Cub is my favorite of the three, even though I stopped carrying mine when I realized the Medford Slim Midi is nearly the same footprint. I have other knives I prefer over these, but Demko knives are definitely a solid choice.

I have big hands so I figured that was the cause, but then I got the Shark Cub and didn’t have that issue. I have to get my hand in just the right position for the 20.5 not to pinch me. With the 20 and the Shark Cub, I can just grab it and flick it open without worry. Makes no sense to me.
@ thank you! I ordered it and got my thumb stud.. now how did you get the factory thumb stud off 😂 I tried with pliers and I can’t get it off I heard some say I have to heat it up to loosen the loc tight. Any suggestions?
I’m really tempted to try an AD20. I’m wondering if I should go all out with the full thickness one rather than the “S” version since if I get one it will be mainly just for the sake of the locking mechanism. I know I hated the civivi and We Vision because the lock bar thing felt terrible, and so I think the bigger and wider the tab thing is the more comfortable it would be to fidget with. That said, it may come down to what I can find at a reasonable price. Anyway, good video!
Yes, the clicks and clacks are awesome! i have a cub, 20.5, and a flytanium arcade which has the shark lock. Are you going to ty the new Taiwan made AD20? its supposed to be just as awesome but ''cheaper''
@doodysdaggers Thinner blade stock, thinner trigger, and thinner space in between the 2 scales. It doesn't scratch that big beefy itch but it feels a bit more practical for EDC.

It was a pain in the ass. I eventually just used a grinder and cut a slot on the other side so I could fit a flat head screwdriver in it

Update- bhq dropped the price a few days after I bought it. I emailed them about it and they refunded me the $20 difference.
