I just wanted to add that it is very good to do this at night at Rito stable. Beedle is inside at night in the event you want to use the item hovering glitch to pass the maximum of 15, and if you load your save file, all the tree logs around Rito stable respawn immediately so you can keep getting 6 pieces of wood easily (the 3 pieces that are already laying there do not respawn). Also, if it shows you holding a piece of wood or otherwise doesn't work, if you just hold a single piece of wood exit and reenter menu then stop holding and hold again, after once or twice it'll work and you don't have to overload the menu again. Something is wrong! No more than 10 units of the same material can be placed on the ground, and once this limit is exceeded, the other units disappear! So I was able to duplicate the Big Ranel Hearts (a food/material that restores 4 hearts each) only up to 15 units in total! How do you go beyond this limit?
The glitch that I did in the second half of the video shows the materials to be dropped in a floating state. And they wont count towards the 10 materials dropped
Does this work with ancient items like ancient screw and shafts? I will use this for getting ancient arrows if it does. I have 157,202 rupees so I'm good with that part.

@@100PercentZelda I tried it a few days ago actually, took me a while to get it right but once I finally managed to get far enough and the glitch starts working, I didn't know that you can't open the menu in the middle of the glitch. So unfortunately as close as I was and as long as that took me, I messed it up. But my confusion now is , when I can go to the menu and how far I need to be from the guardian , or if I'm supposed to keep walking until it autosaves. I should probably understand that before I attempt it again. Also on a side note, I just want to say your page is my favorite for Zelda content. I love your videos all very helpful. Edit: It took me a few tries but I got the hang of it now that I found a spot near an auto save location and a shrine and I removed weapons and decided to put on the first outfit you get in the game which seems to help. It's not crashing anymore I did the glitch a few times now having fun with it 👍 I like to do it in Hyrule castle since I can stock up on ancient parts before the glitch. I pinpointed with the stickers every location they are on the route I take to do the glitch and take those all out with the shield every blood moon before doing the glitch again. Might try another location too. Thanks for your other video it helps :) glad I decided to try it again
If you don't want to use wood, I suggest chuchu jelly. Empty or convert all of one type of jelly from your inventory so you have only 6 of that type. Do the glitch to convert the jellies, than turn 6 of your other jellies in your inventory to the type you have none of, I use fire chuchus and a great flame blade.
I like doing this glitch with chuchu jelly instead of wood. I turn 6 regular jellys in red ones using fire weapons, do the glitch like normal and then repeat the process. Is it faster? I have no idea, but at least Beedle won't try to backstab me everytime since I sell my stuff to other NPCs ^^'

Is there a version of this to turn one weapon into another? (As a form of duplication) I want to transmute an Ancient Bow into a Twilight Bow so that I have to technically "purchase" the Twilight, so that I feel like I actually deserve to use one haha...
So funny thing haha, if you do the duplication glitch to dupe an item after selling said item, if you instead didn't put an item down to duplicate and go to a shrine and collect the spirit, right when it says to push plus, push plus before it adds your spirit to your count and stop holding the items and now instead of getting a spirit to increase your hearts or stamina you now have 34 of the item you were holding going past the 11 limit but at the cost of a spirit
Second part doesn't work for me, I literally can't press + A + any faster, he just drops the items not stacked =( at least I can get 15 at a time, still gonna be a pain to upgrade every armor piece to max LuL
Do you think this is a more efficient way to get star fragments? Im trying to get the ridiculous amount it takes to upgrade all of the Hero sets, would this be faster than camping in dueling peaks?
One other note that I personally would recommend for this is to know if you have a janky controller, specifically if your plus or A buttons are messed up, I have a pro controller that has turbo, the only annoying part is that this particular one has to have the button be held down for the turno to work.....which is dumb...so often when I'm doing the infinite rupee pr ancient part glitch, I'll turn on the turbo and go do something else for a bit, this has caused my A button to start heavily acging up, which would make it very difficult to do this glitch with that controller, I suggest to use the actual joy cons that come WITH the switch, most people don't use them often as theylike to get custom ones wich means all the buttons work well, hope this helps, have a great day, if you made it to the end of this, reply with a nice "XD"

i have found that on the switch lite you do have to look in your menu after picking up the bows. also when you can only see links bald head and belt you are done with overloading anymore and it won't work.
You keep saying "You're hitting plus too late" in all these comments, but I'm also failing the floating item glitch even tho I'm hitting plus within a fraction of a second. The only way I could be any faster was if I was a computer.

What if all the materials are on the ground bc I’m doing this glitch rn and the items are on the ground when I leave the inventory. The materials aren’t floating and Link can’t pick them up he can only take them from the ground.
I have this strange situation where the glitch works exactly one time only per item type. The same exact steps do not duplicate the item again when putting away items in the final step. Everything is done correctly as far as I can tell, as it works the first time but not any after that. Any ideas?
Replying to my own comment to help others if they encounter this - it was my mistake. I wasn't placing all items from the stack on the ground that I wanted to duplicate.

I love adding monster extract to dishes during blood moons. It may take a few reloads but those 30:00 durations are worth it.

I use a turbo with the same weird problem... but! I use a rubber band and a dime to hold the A button down XD

I was going to dupe diamonds but I realized they despawn when you put to many on the ground :sad:
