Pingree deserves A LOT of credit for what he does with these Whiskey Throttle shows. He keeps things flowing, which is not always easy .... do doubt about it. To do this for HOURS at a time is just impressive to me. I definitely don't take it for granted.
So thankful for these shows. Hearing all the inside info is amazing to me. The moto family is sure a finicky group. And such elitist in their mindsets.
Always loved Damon. He was badass. He was the reason I bought my 1993 Yamaha YZ 250 in 1993. He was on the cover of the 1993 Yamaha YZ Lineup Brochure, that I still have. That bike was a monster, stock, out of the crate.
It must have been about 88 or 89 when all of us from Yamaha Of Covina watched Damon rail a right hand start at Anaheim. He was just about in the bleachers as everyone else was funneling into the first turn as he ran away.
Used to battle with Damen back in the day. We both had yamaha support rides back in the 80's. Used to play ride alot back then. The kid was always so fast!! We would race alot of the big amateur mini races. I am from Michigan but we met up at the mini Olympics and nationals and alot of other big races.
Damon Bradshaw was always the top 5 fastest in the field....no matter what, win lose or crash. Most fun to watch and I loved him on the pink yamaha. SUCH A BEAST
Definitely one of my favorite riders of all time. Followed Bradshaw through his minicycle days, 125, 250 etc. Was glad he came back in 95', showed speed; and won on a CR250 later on in his career. Kid prodigy who made tons of money, the pressure to win and so on. Great career!! 🙏
Carlsbad 1987 I was racing 250 Jr class, but practice is open they let anyone of all classes ride the track, pros beginners etc at the same time. Damon was there on his yz80 was already a stud. I decided to follow him around the track ,by chance, and he absolutely smoked me ,on his 80, which is saying something, he hauled ass.
met damon at my first ultra series race back around 2003 when we went back to riding around my mid thirties. i had bought one of his mhr bikes from a local s.c. dealer. Remeber pulling up to staging for our +30 race and he, Kevin Walker, and i think either Mike Brown Or Larry Ward was in staging with us, Thought great i am just learning to race again and i had to race with those guys.He saw the bike and said "nice bike looks familiar" it was a cool memory and appreciated he would even recognize a low level c vet class rider. Thanks Damon i changed my race number to his number at the time because of his comments that day
Great interview guys . As always . I love this show . There's nothing else like this. Damon is way more than a gent than I thought he was . Always a fan of damon. He him always looking mean and ready to kick ass but seems much more placid in his older age . Beat from the east. Miss that mullet!!!
Man these shows just keep getting better. I thought RV did a really good job. Some times co-host can pull a little more info out. Damon is still a cool cat. Used to love to watch him race. Was at Indy the year he had to step off his bike in mid air dicing with Stanton. He’s a very well spoken man. I still have my red and yellow Trim boots ! Great job Ping !
I was expecting Bradshaw to be wound-tight. I’ll never forget a time when he roosted Ed Scheidler in the pits on a Wednesday at DeAnza after arguing about how the bike was working. It must have been about 1991.
Good Stuff. I rem 1990 ish..LA first turn..When Bradshaw.. Blew around the bermed first turn @ LA colosseum..for the holeshot..Maybe his first 250 year.. And was there at Lake Sugar tree for first his first 125 Win..Sadly I was at Hampton Va. too..because he was racing.. Good times. OGIO is great too.. I still have my Rolling Camo gear bag..from the early 2000's.
I was (still am) a Damon Bradshaw fan. Such awesome races in-person at High Point in early 90s. Thanks for having him on, but who is this "Keer Dow Ski" he kept talking about? hahahahaha. Poor Mike has had his name butchered a lot. Enjoyed the show boys.
I was a Stanton fan at the time and was pretty hard on Damon for what I thought was him "choking" in 92 and being mentally weak in his inability to come back from it. I have a totally different view of him now. He's a human being and I really understand how it was no longer fun for him. I regret how I looked at him then. He's a good guy and better than me for sure.
Ben waiting for this interview for a long time. Thanks for letting RV ruin it! You got The beast to interview! Why would you even need a cohost. The guy kept butting in wouldn’t even let Bradshaw finish a sentence. You really jacked this one up ping
Damon "I Don't Remember" Bradshaw. I tease, but I imagine I would be the same way. It's hard to keep stuff straight in your brain, especially after so many years. It all kinda blurs together.
Ping, you should have footage available to view to make your guests speculate or comment on them, like the Miami race. RV had no clue about Damon’s races, it would be cool to see them both comment
Was at Muddy Creek one year in the pits right after practice when I went up to Osborne's put and was talking to his Mother/Uncle. They were from WVa sams as I was and his uncle knew a few people that I had worked for. Then, Zach's Mother asked if I had gotten a picture....I told her they weren't out yet. She then sent her sister over to a booth...then next thing I knew...here comes Zach outta his mobile home..and just he and I were talking for about 15mins about nothing.LOL! And both his mom/uncle joined in.... no one else around... Right there I became a Zach fan...he didn't have to come out and talk to me...but he did.
When pingree brought up the monster truck stuff he asked that how that came about and then before Damon could answer he asked a handful of other questions regarding the monster truck so we never learned how that opportunity came about or why he left
Family involved in NASCAR + Him involved in AMA Supercross + Feld organizing Monster Jam & AMA Supercross + Monster Jam wanting people from OTHER types of motorsports
When they're having a conversation about bringing out someone's personality rather than listing their sponsors reminds me of *Aaron Plessinger (doing it for Dale)* with his *mustache & mullet*

always been a ping fan just seems like if you don't ride and race being a moto fan is harder respect and learned from all of you wish the moto world could follow the metal musicians route and engage with the public in a similar way
Awesome interview with demon Damon needs to keep his eye out on Kaplan America at the New England motorcycle museum he just got a MR 50 for sell on his eBay site Hey guys Southwick is holding once a year An Event like you are talking about starts off riding through the woods through an obstacle course then you go out on the track you can check it out on Kaplan America UA-cam channel
Hmmmm. When Damon mentioned Bob Hannah a few times, he pointed out into the audience as though Bob was there. Since he and Hannah are friends and live in Idaho, I wonder if they flew down together. Could a Hurricane be about to blow through the Whiskey Throttle Show?
skda graphics suck arse. They feel at the knees. I take a lot of pride in supporting US companies. Especially during these hard times. Decal works holds up a lot better. Even know they are from “The Land that forgot about Lincoln”, it’s USA baby! Sorry they didn’t support your show but wouldn’t make me sell out.

One quote at Southwick while commentating.."He's On him Like a Hobo on a Ham Sandwich.." 😂
Damon is totally different than what I expected. He’s actually pretty chill
I met Damon the first time at Ringgold Ga he was only 15, and he won both125 and 250 he was an amazing young man.
Always loved Damon. He was badass. He was the reason I bought my 1993 Yamaha YZ 250 in 1993. He was on the cover of the 1993 Yamaha YZ Lineup Brochure, that I still have. That bike was a monster, stock, out of the crate.
In the 80s the yz80 and 125 took a lot of work to get dialed in. When I began 250 novice I was happy.
I just realized that I've been waiting for this interview since 1989......
Me to
One of my all time favorite riders
DAMON BRADSHAW was bad ass
Love his FOX RACING GEAR.
The beast from the east
Back in the day Damon Bradshaw was my favorite rider. Him and his nemesis Chicken.
It must have been about 88 or 89 when all of us from Yamaha Of Covina watched Damon rail a right hand start at Anaheim. He was just about in the bleachers as everyone else was funneling into the first turn as he ran away.
What a great show.

Yea he hauled ass on an 80...and any size bike...
I remember you man, hope you are good.
Keith is probably your older brother...
Did you ever race the tracks at Ringgold or Tunnel Hill Ga?
I loved the axo gear in the early 90s. Those pinstriped pants with the gel jerseys were pimpin
AXO '92-93 is the GOAT of mx gear
Killer episode 🍺

Back then 89-90, I think Bradshaws salary was reported at $350,000 k
One of my favorite Whiskey T shows hands down!
Carlsbad 1987 I was racing 250 Jr class, but practice is open they let anyone of all classes ride the track, pros beginners etc at the same time. Damon was there on his yz80 was already a stud. Washougal '96 against Hughes. Minneapolis SX '96 against Craig in the whoops. Daytona '96 against Huffman. Those were great moves.

I still remember back in about 1988 Damon and his dad went duck hunting and had shotguns sticking up in a new corvette driving down the road lol
If I ever bought a Yamaha, it would only be because of Mr. Bradshaw taking the time to speak to my daughter at Budds Creek 2023.
Great interview!...The Beast from the East!...☠️🇺🇲
Man these shows just keep getting better. I thought RV did a really good job. Some times co-host can pull a little more info out. Damon is still a cool cat. Used to love to watch him race. Best. Episode. Ever.
The real OG ‘beast of the east’... favourite rider of all time!! 💯
Bradshaws honesty is GOAT
I was expecting Bradshaw to be wound-tight.
I’ll never forget a time when he roosted Ed Scheidler in the pits on a Wednesday at
DeAnza after arguing about how the bike was working. It must have been about 1991.
The race where Damon said he was going to kick ass 1990 Pontiac and the pre race was on a raw satellite feed, I have it on VHS somewhere
Great interview!! Thanks 👍
It’s so cool to hear the guys I grew up watching give their perspective. Great show guys.
Awesome interview. Looks like he got life going his way.
When Bradshaw was on he was up there with the best racers of all time.
Good Stuff. I rem 1990 ish..LA first turn..When Bradshaw.. Blew around the bermed first turn @ LA colosseum..for the holeshot..Maybe his first 250 year.. That was the “hole shot from hell”! That was incredible..
That was a great interview . I race vintage on a 1993 YZ 250 he was one of my favorite writers
Awesome interview very entertaining 👏 Damon Ping and Ryan crushed it
A straight up badass on the track!
I think Damon was disqualified at the Las Vegas SX in '92 after he cleaned Chicken out.
Even RV giving it dues .. respect
Huge fan of Damon ! still got my 96 replica helmet. Back when there were genuine characters in the sport.
Bradshaw #1 💜45👍🏼👌🏼👏🏼
1990 Supercross wins = Anaheim, Houston, Pontiac 1, Charlotte, Los Angeles.
What a great show! Well done Pin! Loved the manscaped ad at the end...Still laughing!
Damon raced des Nations on a 125 in '90 and on a 250 in '91.
I was a Stanton fan at the time and was pretty hard on Damon for what I thought was him "choking" in 92 and being mentally weak in his inability to come back from it. I thought RV done a great job 🤷♂️
Great show
Damon won Charlotte, Pontiac and Los Angeles in 1990.
Damon "I Don't Remember" Bradshaw. I tease, but I imagine I would be the same way. It's hard to keep stuff straight in your brain, especially after so many years. It all kinda blurs together.
Villamutt
Lots of memories of Ole Kerdowski, lol!
Chicken say's it the same way. lol

Wow I’d walk straight past Bradshaw and not recognise him
Great show, I vote for RV to be a regular co host.
Awesome shows! Thank you

How many times can Ryan completely derail the interview......
What’s up with villo having pingree’s stache lol
He's the new Langston 😂
I think Bradshaw got offers from Honda and Kawasaki after the '92 season.
Awesome interview with demon Damon needs to keep his eye out on Kaplan America at the New England motorcycle museum he just got a MR 50 for sell on his eBay site

Ryan, learn what track's were around?...How to you not know Daytona's been around forever??
Hmmmm. When Damon mentioned Bob Hannah a few times, he pointed out into the audience as though Bob was there. Since he and Hannah are friends and live in Idaho, I wonder if they flew down together. Could a Hurricane be about to blow through the Whiskey Throttle Show?
Bob Hannah is recovering from a bad fall on his bicycle.
skda graphics suck arse.
100 awesome. I guess until I heard about pings pubic trimming and deodorant plug. Didn't see that coming. 😕I get it I guess but... 🤷
No nothing about the Chicken??
I guess there's some pre-show dealings we never see
I was thinking the same thing. Nothing about the T bones etc. Wish they would have talked about that, and if they've left that behind etc.
First baby
Second
Shit I think RV is worse than GL..felt like Bradshaw was the co host..
Let the guests speak! Stop interrupting
Why did Villopoto end up retiring? Was he burned out? Injuries?
