TonneauCoversWorld.com My cover is twelve years old bought it new in 2006 still pretty solid but faded after a few years and the hinges and the bar locks are all rusted. I can't even move those bars at the rear of the cover near the tailgate on my Honda Ridgeline.anymore there so rusted. Almost $2000.00 with installation from the dealer I still have the receipts.. My Ridge was never abused always maintained and have the receipts to prove it.
Thank you for posting this video! I just installed an Access cover on my '06 using your video and it was really not bad at all. The factory instructions were pretty useless so I'm really thankful for this video!
@@ilearntodraw1375 Mine has 196,000 miles. The 3.5 VTEC requires a timing belt change every 100,000 miles or so. It will run you a good $2000 if you get it done properly with the recommended valve adjustment and water pump replacement. Having said that, I love my Ridgeline to the point where I'm changing the belt at 200,000 miles and if the transmission ever goes out, I'm having that rebuilt as well! LOL!
Please make an updated video. Despite what your customer service stated, there are no videos out there showing how to install the mounting rails on my new Ridgeline.
Hi there! Which exactly is the tonneau model used here? Also, how good is this handling snow? and by that I mean snow build up during bad snowstorm and such. Thanks!
Nice video. I received the cover and will install today. Since the cover came with plain nuts and flat and lock washers, I would suggest that installers apply a bit of Loctite BLUE thread locker to insure the hardware does not come loose. An alternative would be to substitute nyloc nuts for the plain nuts. If someone does use Loctite (I plan on it for a little extra insurance) be sure to use the BLUE formula, not the red. If red is used, it would be very hard, if not impossible to remove the nut. Although I read the instructions a couple of times I did not see where the roll of rubber seal is applied, but I am assuming this seal might be applied at the front of the cover. Is this right? Not mentioned in your video. ****EDIT**** After reading the instructions again, I see where the element seal goes in the front but I an't make heads or tails of the application at the rear. Also there are torque values in the written instructions which I will follow and your video missed the fact that when installing the side rails the rear bolt should be placed in the rail prior to applying the rail to the bed so it would be positioned correctly. This video is quite helpful for orientation, but I think it is important to also read the printed instructions, especially the supplemental instructions for the Ridgeline only.
Maybe after the install, show the viewers the trunk opened. Most tonneaus with the side rails will hinder with the trunk. Mine only opens 3/4 of the way now.

Thank God for this video. My order did not include Ridgeline-specific instructions. Made my install a breeze.
Excellent, thank you. Going to remove one of these from a junk yard today, needed to know what tools to bring. Thanks for the upload 😀 👍

The Tonneau Cover looks great! But now my dirt bike's front tire will not be able to rest against the cab of the truck where the tire notches are.
Thanks for the video. It sure beats reading the manual. God bless.
What specific cover did you have? I can't seem to find that info anywhere. Thank you
