I like how this shows people in the US how a large portion of the world lives. A 10 year old kid working, unsanitary conditions, flies everywhere, kid using his hands. That's the reality for many in the world and we need to remind ourselves of that sometimes.

This is one of those videos that really hits home. 7 months ago when i first seen this video it humbled the hell outta me. The sheer expressions only let you know this gentleman is sacrificing his youth for his family and himself for a better tomorrow. Someone taught this young gentlemen the craft with a lot of attention to detail. So many subtle pro techniques like keeping top of the fryer rim clean. I hope a kid working at this age is to support his future and not his ailing parents.
He probably learned this from hanging out in US kitchen. Eventually cooks taught him the " how to" to make French fries.

The fact that he's 10 years old and doing all of the hardwork to make money, just to survive is such so inspiring to see.
My Filipino mother told me that she used to be like him when she's about his age, it was really hard for her to make money since in the 1980's and living in the poorest conditions. Her family can't afford food because they have no jobs so they decide to eat rice with salt. Gladly she taught me very well and her love was the most important thing to me than anything else.
The fries looks delicious though and I wished I can met him and afford some of that fries if I was in Pakistan.

I empathise with this young man. I spent basically my whole life looking after a my mum, I sacrificed my childhood so my siblings could have one. I don't ever regret doing so but it was hard at times. Lonely and hard. I wish this legend nothing but the best.

Plus did you know that in 3rd world countries (mine included), most families with mid to low income have to resort to make their children work especially when the pandemic hits. In my country, i often encounter children who had to work when the schools are on lockdown. Their parents mostly rely on daily income and their children are not doing anything except doing homeworks, so they had to make their children work just to get by daily

The big difference in Brazil is that people here made a lot of protests and now the government is paying some help for families who are having economic problems. These problems is not ours even mine, but the government of Afghanistan should be more open to help these poor people. The politics is the big difference, in all countries of the world humans pay taxes, the minimum of decency is the government's help in hard times like we live now.

But when it inconvenience them (prices go up, etc.) then they start to protest. Sadly my country's corruption level is so high up in the world ranking. We protest but government rarely listen to our pleas and the solutions they give us mostly result in more problems
