Exactly! I thought rep has tougher skin and realized how much he is still going through for us. But now. What, a few words against DeSantis and they fold? DeSantis has done some good things, but with the Bush's and rinos backing him and his voting record in congress which weren't always in our best interests, I wonder if the establishment put him on this path, to run Florida like Trump may and then present himself as the CALMER option since people whine about sone things Trump says make people wish for a better option. Little do they know, that personality is also the one we need when dealing with the swamp and foreign affairs. He wants peace, he won't let anyone walk all over us and use our country, but he will come up with better options for ALL our countries to prosper and have peace. That's what he started to do in his first term. I see comments of some rep now wanting to vote Vivek. He has some good ideas and supposedly is friends with Trump but I haven't seen a video yet of him stating what he will do about the war, the deep state and corruption which to me are the main ones along with the economy. And I'm sorry but why the heck would we want to throw a newbie in there during war time and possible other wars coming? All because Trump said a few things about DeSantis? They would tank this country because if that? We already know he is the only one who can fix the mess Biden made. We can't chance sticking a disloyal person or a newbie in to "Make friends" with foreign leaders and figure things out and we don't have the time during a war. Trump already has relationships and is willing to put himself and his family in the line to drain the swamp. These kinds of turncoat really upset me. Guess some are willing to try something new in the middle of a mess just because of a few words. People need to pull their heads out of their rear ends and look atvthe bigger picture or we will allow this country to continue to go down in flames. Ridiculous.

I used to say, I'm Independent Center leaning right. Then I would say I'm independent, fiscally conservative, socially left. Now I say I'm socially independent fiscally conservative and I vote Republican. I think you can see it's not really me that changes.

Sorry to say but I've never understood the fiscally con/social left thing anyway. To me the person is left.
The basics of it, the origins are that the left want to spend, spend, spend, even if borrowing to do so. Whereas the right wants fiscal responsibility so the two don't jive. Not talking what they've evolved into, just the basics of the R v L thing. It invites a lot of contradictions and would probably mean the parties don't represent you at all really.
@@hebber1961 true, on the representation. I often say how does government affect me most? The answer for me is in my pocket so that would be the right leaning. Socially I found myself more accepting of certain aspects where the right was so conservative. I always felt I fell in the center of the two. Both sides have positive and negative. Socially I realized I control what goes on in my own house and to each his own. So I vote republican. Now the left has become so extreme I find it hard to identify with them at all.

Van, here's another important point: Donald Trump and Bryson Gray don't drink, don't do drugs, & don't smoke. How many people do you know, in your own life, like that? I know only one (and it's not myself, unfortunately). One of my sons has never even tried any of that, is actively against it. He's the clearest thinking, brightest, most "present" person I know. These attributes of Bryson and Trump, in my opinion, are huge testaments to their honesty, integrity and clarity. Not enough people realize how important that is.

But we loved Trump because he was an outsider and not a politician and he actually cared about the people and wanted to actually do what he said he was going to do. We need to someone get more normal everyday people into politics like Trump. We need to stop voting in typical politicians, until then things won’t change. The left and right politicians all play for the same team they just put on a show for the people. It seems it too little to late the only downside to Trump was people were afraid to hold him accountable when it was warranted and obvious at times and it became a toxic environment and it turned away the would be independent voters.

Finally people are waking up and becoming independent free thinker I have long ago became an independent and I really enjoy my peace and serenity , it was becoming way too stressful being a Republican and a Christian in this day and time, people were expected to agree with every single thing and if you had a different opinion, people instantly turn on you an labeled you so I chose to be an independent and take back my power and my freedom of speech. There is a big difference between criticism, which none of us are above, and turning your back on someone. The video I saw with Tatum suddenly questioning if he should support DeSantis seemed more centered around his offense on the part of Owen's than anything else. It was worthy of criticism of him in context...wasn't just him disagreeing with something said. I don't like that kind of snap judgement out of what seemed very much like anger.

I consider myself a "trumper" - I have his photo on my wall. But these people who can't hear a word of criticism about him blow my mind. The world is not going to end if you don't LOVE every breath the man takes. If we can't have a critical eye, how are we better than the sheeple we make fun of?
I own every book he's ever written, and wanted him to run long before he announced it. He's done a lot of kind things, and had helped a lot of groups, which is why even Democrats loved him before he ran for office. I don't agree with everything he does, while in office he restarted some race-based scholarships, which I'm against. I think it should be character that matters, not race, but I doubt I'll ever fully agree with anyone, it doesn't mean I think any less of him.
@HOPE and PEACE I hate to agree but there is a time and place for everyone and he may have served his purpose in that capacity already. If he is America first, and a good leader, he will know to step aside and endorse a younger fighter when the time comes.
