The Day Our Dreams Came True! | Live Pregnancy Test Results Reaction & Celebrating at Magic Kingdom

- Sarah is officially four weeks pregnant! Today was our beta blood test and we spend the morning waiting for that very important phone call. We are speechless when our nurse tells us that the transfer worked and our numbers are great! 663! We will go back in on Wednesday for another test to make sure my levels are rising and then again for an ultrasound in about four weeks. The evening is spent in celebration mode. First we go to Disney Springs for Sugarboo and Earl of Sandwich. We even get I'm celebrating buttons! Then we head to Magic Kingdom... Goodness gracious we haven't been there in a long time. We really need to get to celebrating Halloween! We ride the Haunted Mansion and PeopleMover before heading home. After a stop to the dollar store, we eat ice cream, watch Charlie Brown, & finally see a positive at home pregnancy test! Best. Day. Ever.

I had several miscarriages and could never get happy or celebrate after a positive pregnancy test because I was so focused on the negative at the time. Now that I look back and now that I am older and wiser, I should not have had that attitude. Every small victory is still a victory! After years of trying I had 2 babies, 17 months apart! God's plan and timing is bigger and greater than we could ever imagine.

This brought back memories. As parents of IVF kids that feeling is something you'll never forget. And we find that because of the struggle we cherish every moment even more than we would have if we would have gotten pregnant easily. I remember the first time our son was sick I was at CVS in the children's medicine aisle and thought how cool it was to have a kid that could even get sick lol. Congrats guys! Cherish ever second whether "good" or "bad".
