CHASE ELLIOTT Throws WILD BLOCK to WIN at Atlanta Motor Speedway (From the Grandstands!)

- Final laps of the intense racing from the Quaker State 400 NASCAR Cup race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Multiple late race restarts setup a 3 lap dash for the checkered flag between Chase Elliott, Martin Truex Jr, and Corey LaJoie. Truex drops back handing LaJoie the lead, but Chase Elliott completes a race winning pass with 2 to go and block on LaJoie on the last lap securing victory. Heartbreak for LaJoie as he goes into the wall and crashes on the final lap finishing outside the top 20.

First time in my life, Pocono Raceway will be racing on my Birthday (July, 24th)
I was in the Johnson grandstand towards turn 1. First Nascar race ever and it was a surreal experience! Been watching Nascar since 2011 and to experience this in real life has been fantastic! It was an awesome race despite it being a wreckfest. Bummed for Corey but happy for Chase winning his first race at Atlanta!
Aw yea, first race is always memorable! I was the same - had been watching the sport for 8+ years on TV before going to my first race in 2015. It's addicting! You'll be going to more soon. Great action packed first race for sure! 😁
Was my first to. I was right out of t4, had alot of wrecks right infront of me. Glad i got to go man

WILD block !? It looked like a very experienced and sharp move to me.. clean , well executed racing move to protect his lead... AND he didn't initiate ANY contact with Corey.. Lajoie just didn't want to lift.. that's HIS inexperience showing , although Corey drove a HELLUVA good race and he deserves congrats for that

Lajoie lifted… all the way into the wall. Elliott either overdrove the HELL out of turn or that was a deliberate move.
I was there! Incredible Atmosphere despite being a hot day, the turnout was pretty good for Atlanta, and it really felt like a Gen 4 race with all the cheering and racing, it was amazing. I love the New Atlanta

You were in a good spot. You were in the shade. I was in row 33 of section 110 in the petty grandstand. We were in the sun the entire damn time. IT WAS SO FUCKING HOT! I had a great time just like in March minus the heat.
Yea we were in the heat for the 1st 2 stages of the Xfinity race... was really hot (even tho I'm used to it from Texas). By the 3rd stage moved up into the stage and learned my lesson for Sunday haha. The pillars were a bit annoying but worth being in the shade.
@@Leuel48Fan I know where I will be sitting next year if we aren’t camping at the track. July should be at night with how hot it was. I was so happy for the clouds but as the race went on they got less and less.
I was row 6 (2nd from track) section 130.. only thing saving me was the breeze from the cars

Hey Leuel what kind of PC do you recommend I get so I can do iracing? I want to the entire set up I just don't know a thing about computers, only know how to use them lol not the inner workings
Hey, you can look at the minimum specs for iRacing here: www.iracing.com/membership/system-requirements/
I recommend buying a PC (or laptop) that meets the recommended specs. Any modern machine with a dedicated GPU (Nvidia or AMD Radeon) should suffice. Good luck!

I have been wanting to do iracing for quite sometime now I have watched all your racing videos 2-3 times each and it's gotta be a blast to play. Maybe I can work my way up when I get everything going and we can race against one another.
@@Leuel48Fan I've seen you race with Chase Briscoe that would be awesome racing against a NASCAR driver. It's the closest thing we'll ever get to being on the track with one of those guys. I love watching the videos where Tony Stewart is telling 2 guys to stop bitching at one another lol I'd love to race and talk with him. Racing against Dale Jr is on the top of my list. Your in the top 5 my man

Nah, I should've looked more carefully, but lots of the parts around the garage area were simply too big. (Had to fly back with a personal item only lol)
