My first time ever attending an IMSA race and it was awesome. Even when it started poring rain we stayed and watched. My brother and I will definitely go back to another race.
I didn't expect it to be as loud as it was. I have been to Indy car and nascar but this was great. I like how there are different classes and it makes it harder to pass or stay in the lead.
Please put the leaderboard with the time to go on the left side of the screen in the highlights so that those of us that don't watch the race can get some context please!
@@Edv077 Believe or not, No. Last year was the first year back to doing the Battle on the Bricks since 2014, and this year was the first 6 hour endro. I think that the plan is to keep doing this for as long as the contract allow for the next 3 year (presumably) till they want to renew.
Yes, these days I watch the race afterwards because generally speaking half of the race is under FCY, not the case in WEC! How does IMSA struggle to just copy WEC? Can you imagine how frustrating it would be to be a spectator!
@@rsr-warrior I'm an avid WEC watcher and you're delusional. Just last race in Fuji there were multiple FCY and full VSC->SC sequence for small debris or minor incident.
@@falinestixiaolong9691 Clearly then you haven't watched IMSA. One yellow costs you around 20min every time in IMSA. In WEC it costs you like 2min. If you watch both series you will know the difference, otherwise you're the delusional one 😄 maybe you should go back to Troll Town...
Hey @IMSAOfficial can you guys put the championship points for all the different classes at the end of the recap videos? I want to know who's leaving the championships and by how much.
Highlights aren't good enough. Yes you've done well with the length, but for about a 30s period it was staring at weather radar. Didn't have enough racing to feel the flow for the start. Interviews such as that with Dirk Müller weren't needed. Wish it could be done better.
This is a terrible race recap it’s just crashes or cars broken down followed by 5 minute interviews little racing in the race recap. No timing screen no leaderboard very poor imsa do the race justice!

My first go as well. Gotta say this was the most addictive thing I’ve attended and I’m absolutely making this an annual tradition
Went to my first race earlier this year and it was unreal

25:00 The way the BMW’s absolutely send it across the track is insane
Lamborghini was in the lead for a lap! As well as BMW 1-2! All brands are becoming competitive for the win!
Everyone is squeezing more performance out of their rigs over time. So things are gonna get more competitive.
My heart hurts for the #01 Cadillac.
such a good car all day.
I see a win for them at Road Atlanta. its a great way to say goodbye
Why? Is the Cadillac changing next year? Or is it the whelen team leaving?
@@absolutecrooks6005 Ganassi is leaving IMSA. Cadillac will still be participating, with Wayne Taylor moving over from Acura.
This aged well
The two BMWs splitting the McLaren was fucking awesome
Really great race recap.. nice editing of the event

Sorry, 15 min of interviews for a 30 min recap is the best we can do.
It's a recap of the transmission, not the race.
@@midget8712 What part of "Race Recap" makes you think it's not a recap of the race?
@@falinestixiaolong9691 LMAO
No timing and scoring? Time left? Still a fantastic race. Great recap as well, for the most part.
If they weren't using NBC footage.
Timing and scoring would have helped...why not put it on screen???
A timing tower graphic of some sort would be great!
Why are we having driver interviews on a race recap? Why?
Usually, they interview them during a Full Yellow or a safety car. Usually never during gree flag
Went to this race and it was fantastic. Definitely will be back next year. Grosjean was storming early in the race…!
BMW before raid:😢
BMW after raid for some reason: 😎
raid?
Cadillac, still luv ya
THANK YOU IMSA for putting the race 6 hours perfect for Indianapolis
Being a Cadillac and corvette fan has not been fun this year
🗣🗣🗣REXYYYY WE ARE SOOO BACK 🦖🦖🦖
I wish you'd put the timer in. otherwise, fantastic coverage and edit
Entertaiment graphics very Nice!
That was amazing teammates for BMW Racing yesterday!!☺❤🤍💙🏎🏁🏆
They definitely need to come back to indy
Pretty sure they do every year

@@DuvJonesthe racing this year will for sure have helped its case for IMSA to keep returning
Oh, i love the sound of it, screaming and roaring on tracks
What a race, my goodness me
The FCY rules are crazy. 20 Minutes FCY for a 20 sec incident.

As a Finn it's great to see Krohn winning at IMSA and at Indy as well!
Might be the best and most chaotic race this season

No coverage of the LMP2's, why even have them race if the broadcast never talks about them unless they spin?
Was this just a recap of all the driver interviews? How about showing the racing!
Another gold tooth for rexy!
That "pass attempt" on the Mustang by the Lambo, what in the hell was that?

holy.. BMW FINALLY won
Congrats to Van Halen
Damn! Lamborghini was so close...
Durgan Rest
It would be so much better if they didn’t mix different soles cars.
Demons always bug out their eyes to convince people of their point.
Still doesn’t compare to WEC. Not even European Le Mans.
15:57-16:46 ferrari friendly fire “FFF”.
i’m glad IMSA still has LMP2
24:14 Rexy jumpscare
24:58 BMW Sending it! Nice 1-2 by them
