Great video, love the whole thing! Both the Ram and Camaro sound incredible (startup on the Camaro was possibly my favorite sound of all) RG sounded so badass. I thought Tanya’s bike was going to ring in as the loudest
I have watched a ton of your videos. Never knew yall had an R6. back in the day i had a 01 r6 champions edition. Man I miss that thing. Thanks to your videos. I think i might bite the bullet on a night train in the next few months.
I have the best neighbors! I have a loud stereo on my Harley and play it cranked up when I make changes to it! My neighbor across the street has a Street Glide with pipes! My next door neighbor has a Road Glide and with pipes and a loud stereo! None of the other neighbors have complained yet! My guess is they're cool or they're too scared to say anything! 😅
Tanya's bike sounds the best (but those Big Radious pipes have ALWAYS been awesome.....the Ram was fantastic too...Corsa is AWESOME (had them on my Mustang and want them for our Ram as well)!! I cant beleive Tanya was the loudest of all at 130db, granted that was measured at the intake vice the exhaust.... LOLZ
Not sure if this is what you mean about the blazer, but the 80 was the last year of the vertical front quarter panel marker lights. They were turned horizontal in 81. I think the front grill on the 80 model is unique as well. And I think for vehicles its the blazer. Im biased because I have a 87 GMC JIMMY with 350 TBI. LOVE IT. For the bike, i thought T's was the best sounding
Thanks for a reply to my comment, love you guys, you are a great balance of humour, bike parts information and a great insight to your lives and what you guys are in to. You are both such Ratbags, keep up the great work. Cheers again from Adelaide, Australia.
I know you say that the Rineharts are going away, but I have always liked the low rumble, compared with the barky sound of the Road Glide exhausts. I'd keep 'em. I'd also like to see the test redone at 10-20 feet from exhausts. I bet none are over 100db. I always wear hearing protection, but it's really for the wind buffeting rather than my loud (Vance/Hines) exhaust. Wayne out West (Denver area)
Yeah you definitely don’t hold the tester right at exhaust opening. Most decibel tests are done from a few feet away. Think for ama supercross they test at around 4-6ft at wide open throttle for a few seconds. They’ve shown the process on the live broadcast before but I can’t remember the exact details
Mine seem understanding. I work 7p-7a. I don't say anything about them running a leaf blower by my bedroom for hours on end. They haven't said anything bout 4" fender exit exhaust or my Harley. We can all stay friends or we can do trans brake tests in the alley.
Under Michigan law, the muffler on a snowmobile must be in good working order and, when in constant operation, noise emission cannot exceed 88 decibels at 13.1 feet, as measured using the 2004 Society of Automotive Engineers standard J2567 for a stationary snowmobile manufactured after July 1, 1980.
Ya know, if you upgrade the cams in your road queen, you will be pushing more fuel, more fuel there is more opportunity for more noise....Just saying if you want to win.
It’s hard to decide which one is the loudest because the numbers are so close. Tanya’s night train is probably the best sounding. I need to test my Honda Navi because I took the stock exhaust off and replaced it with a Vance and Hines . I did it because I was taking it for the first service and this one lady almost hit me because she didn’t hear me coming. Now it’s pretty loud and everyone hears me.
Neighbors are thinking, "The Harley people are filming again, why can't they just film 'corn' like other people?" What sounds better? I like Eric's truck exhaust note, but for bikes, has to be Tanya's - just comes off "meaner." Today's TWSS Rating is 1 with: "...gotta pump it a couple times to get it to start..." Ride safe!
Could it be a low low 2 wheel and low low 4 wheel shifters¿ So many different rides. I'm jealous. Big time.i knew Tanya's would be the loudest. Ok close
