If possible, please include Hajima, Crash, Coffee Shop too. They do have few mvs that release along with their Japan album, like Fly high, Kingdom, Excuse me.
b.a.p is kinda known for battling societal issues through their music and mvs. for instance, badman is a song criticizing police brutality/especially in america against black ppl. wake me up is song spreading awareness about mental illness (eating disorders, body dysmorphia, addiction, etc) which is taboo to talk about in korea. thats why they display the “emotional revolution” signs in their mvs as they were quite literally doing this with their music
many believe this was the reason they were never able to break through to “mainstream” /locals outside their own audience bc their concepts were too heavy and emotional at that time; the topics they sing about were undertalked about and not the norm. even today, no kpop groups are battling the topics of gang violence/crime/mental illness/addiction/police brutality etc. as a normal comeback just like bap did. bap were also loved bc of their hiphop/rock influences: popping, krumping, rapping breakdance in their normal choreos: if you’re familiar with kpop u would know this is not common. anyway my personal favs of bap are their side tracks!!! they are even better!!
I always thought Badman was not just a criticism of police brutality, but black culture as well (at least, the toxic aspects of it) and that’s a hard take to swallow, when both sides are criticized, but it’s super forward thinking
@@boodledemic6430 I think rather than trying to criticize a part of the black community, it’s probably the fact that they decided to shoot badman MV in a very segregated area with a high crime rate and they were just trying to convey the struggles and problems of that area

Wake me up is actually about mental health/mental illnesses. This is so special as this marked Bang Yongguk's comeback after being in hiatus due to panic disorder.
@maria_biba right! No matter how many songs, be it kpop or not, I listen to, Daehyung, Youngjae and Chen from EXO will be my favs forever They just stand out WAY too much for me, other's, especially new gen vocalists, are kinda similar to each other imo (no hate, just saying that for me those three are very special and have a distinct sound and feelings when listening to them)
@@june.e about new generation i think the same. They are good vocalists but i just don't feel something special when i hear them. I stan late 2 and mostly 3 generation groups. B.A.P.'s "Wake Me Up" is about how society needs a wakeup call to all the mental health issues that people are facing in the world. You see the girl taking pills and smearing lipstick all over her face because she is dealing with self-image and body issues; the girl that is cooking is battling an eating disorder, which is why we see her imagining that her food is covered in worms and bugs; the guy in the bathtub is dealing with depression and thoughts of suicide; and I think the guy that you see dancing in his room is dealing with gender roles and society's definition of what a man should do and act like, we see him dancing in secret in his room because being a dancer isn't necessarily considered something manly and boys are often made fun of if they want to be dancers, etc. or maybe he is dealing with thoughts of not being good enough and being too worried about what others might think about him. The protest is happening because they are calling for an "emotional revolution." B.A.P. is sending a message to the world that we all need to pay more attention to mental health and to take mental health issues more seriously, etc. What made this MV even more poignant was that this was their leader and main rapper Bang Yongguk's first comeback after being on hiatus due to a panic disorder. So, the message within the song and MV was a very personal one to him and the other members. As you can see, B.A.P. was known for having deep messages within their songs and MVs and they often talked about things within society that people were afraid to address or were uncomfortable talking about. And as mentioned in your "One Shot" reaction, B.A.P. often teased to other songs from their albums within their MVs, so the other songs you heard as part of the soundtrack of the MV were songs that were B-side songs on the same album as the main MV song.
The first Multi-verse in K-pop. The first Male K-pop group with plushie mascots aka Matoki (bunny). First group themed origin concept. They were aliens Matoki from the planet Mato sent on a mission to bring happiness to Earth with music. So many firsts, they were cutting edge exploring new ways to develop this genre to a global audience. They even preformed on MTV in New York at the Time Square studio. They addressed social and political issues in their lyrics and did not shy away from that. Fans of B.A.P. (Babyz) often organized and collected donations for local shelters and food pantries at each of the concert venues when B.A.P. held their global tours. They did so following the example set by the messages Bang Young Guk would discus during interviews and live streams. In 2016 Babyz even collected enough funds to help open a school in Ghana with a partnership from Pencils of Promise in B.A.P.'s name.
Somehow he managed to pick all the darker songs lmao If we recommend crash , Feel so good and thats my jam this videos would have been very different lol
Yongguk has a super deep voice, but the one you asked about in Rain Sound was Himchan. He also has a deep voice with a little rasp edit: A good portion of their songs have messages about violence, mental illness, and other social situations that need to be talked about. So thats why you see guns so much lol 2nd edit: BAP also likes to put interludes of their other songs in longer videos like skydive and one shot. Skydive has their song Pray ant the beginning and Fermata in the middle of the video before the climax
So, in Skydive, he was given photos of a girl that is important to him (not sure if it’s sister or girlfriend) in a blindfold and a message to kill their group leader (iirc). Then in the alleyway, since he hadn’t killed him yet, while held at gunpoint he was given more photos of her/her hand and a box with her finger(s) in it. Then he later got a final warning message while in their group lounge so he started suspecting all of the guys in the group but decided to try and take the leader out to save the girl. After he failed he was sent a text message that the game was over and her location in the trash. And as you saw Jongup was a traitor bc in that storyline he’s probably a sociopath or psychopath and didn’t like that the leader and others were trying to keep him in line.
Wake Me Up is a song I'll never forget. It's one of those songs I listenned to when I just got into kpop and it was fascinating. The song is still amazing to this day!
BAP the forefathers of the post-2nd generation kpop. Their style, group dynamism and the group activities in the West brought a new wave in the industry and literally started the 3rd generation whose influence is still strong til date. They, somehow, paved the way for groups that debuted after them and their successful very 1st performance in Timesquare in early spring 2013 opened the eyes of a lot of agencies on the growing demand in the west especially America. BAP had their very first solo act world tour (Asia/America/Europe) the same year, so one year after debut (which was something revolutionary back in the day when social media were not developped and coming from a non-big 3 company). Sure there were groups like Big Bang before but the BAP project is really what shaped the kpop we know today, pushed doors, took certain risks by performing in a way that was not trendy nor popular back in the day and that challenged codes. In return what did they get ? Mismanagement, mistreatment and some physical abuses from their own company, media trying hard and erase their existence, other kpop groups never covering their songs and some disrespecting them (see Eric of TheBoyz case) and kpop followers acting in a disdainful way towards them.

Yongguk now has his own agency, Zelo is still doing solo and be a dancer, Jongup went to Peak Time, Daehyun is doing solo just got out of military, Youngjae is in military he's very active as an actor and Himchan (the other deep voice) is in jail. I'm living for these B.A.P reactions! Loved this and your previous video, hope to see more. Their mvs, title tracks and albums are sooo good. They have zero bad songs (IMO). Also, Badman is my favourite song of all time, I just really love everything about it! B.A.P, Infinite and Exo are the ones who dragged me into kpop and I really missed them and the time they were active as a group.
You definitely need to check out their lyrics. All of bap song had deep meaning. As deep as Yongguk's voice. For Badman, I read somewhere back then that Yongguk wrote it after watching news.
Skydivefrom what i can understand is all about mental illness - insecurities, traumas etc. That's why they said emotion revolution... Edited: i meant wake me up
Hi RJ, nice to see you react to my favorite boy group. If you are interested in seeing another side of B.A.P, I recommend some songs for you. 1. Coffe shop 2. Feel so good 3. Stop it 4. Where are you, what are you doing now 5. Honeymoon Enjoy your journey :)
i'd like to recommend songs that are different from what you've heard so far from them. most people know them best for these types of songs, but their discography is quite diverse! for more soft b.a.p: Stop It, Coffee Shop, Where Are You?, Feel So Good for more upbeat b.a.p: That's My Jam, Honeymoon, Moondance(this one was only a promoted bside on music shows, so there's no mv) and a couple more along the style of what you've heard/watched already: 1004 and Young, Wild, & Free
thank you for reacting to bap!! it seriously made my night being able to watch both of your videos. if you want to see more sides of them i would recommend songs such as feel so good, thats my jam, (both fun and upbeat songs) and coffee shop (more of a ballad)! i would also love to see your reaction to 1004 (angel). honestly im holding back from recommending every mv LMAO theres also honeymoon, young wild & free, and hands up that are all great songs too! thanks so much for checking them out, it's not often i see people check out bap these days and it makes me so happy to see!
Rain Sound will always be my fav sad song. Please next B.A.P - Hurricane MV. And please do Teen Top MV Marathon. They're from 2nd generation of kpop boy group as well. - Clap - To You (dance ver.) - Be My Girl - Miss Right - I'm Sorry
Pleasee get into Tvxq next they are 2nd gen their visuals, performances, & vocals are top tier I reccomend wrong number, bolero live, love in the ice live, tonight, summer dream, & rising sun you will fall in love for background info they started as 5 members but are now a duo due to 3 leaving after sueing sm, they are legends in Asia to this day & pioneered for the future generation they opened the way for idols in Japan and before they came out people thought idols couldn’t sing but they sure showed them they were wrong with their debut, they have my favorite vocals to this dayyyy
Whenever I see ppl reacting to Daehyun, I will always remember that story of DK practising I Dont Wanna Cry in the waiting room non stop, and Daehyun calling Seungkwan to shout "STOP CRYINGG!!"
If TS Ent had been honest & paid their talent then it would’ve been B.A.P. leading the Hallyu Wave into America instead of BTS. TS killed what could’ve been a worldwide takeover. Check out 1004(Angel), That’s My Jam (it’s MV is hilarious), Coffee Shop & Stop It. Babys’ know it’s not a B.A.P. MV if someone isn’t shot. B.A.P. also has one of the best ship names for their oldest two members Bang Yongguk & Himchan…they’re called BangHim. 😅 Yongguk wrote Wake Me Up after he returned from hiatus. He deals with some mental health issues, so he tries to shine a light on the silent struggle that is mental health. Badman came out before WMU.

B.A.P. is making comeback album! You can watch " Man on the moon" documentary about their path & future 🙏
the song playing during the "flashbacks" (the one from 16:53) on Skydive is called Fermata, while the one from 17:55 is called Pray (its's the same one from the start of the MV) ; all from the Noir album where Skydive is from.
17:12 Fermata from same album - ballad with just the vocalists. Part 3: Young Wild Free, Feel So Good, That’s My Jam, Honeymoon.
I NEED MORE REACTOR TO MAKE REACTION VIDEO FOR BADMAN 😭😭 One shot, skydive, and badman are the "must react to" for BAP. Thank you for your reaction videos to BAP, RJ!!!
SAME
i went into patron to check where u fall in love with jongup lol. BAP is very well known for their harder badass image but i really want you to see the softerside of them :) Where Are You, Feel so Good, That's my Jam, Stop it, Coffee Shop are among their cuter softer songs
Please react to the whole "Noir" album someday 🥰🥰 It was their PERFECT album, and of course it was their last album 🙄🥲😭😭
tysm for reacting pls do more 💙💙💙angel 1004, thats my jam, stop it, where are you, crash, hurricane and feel so good!! all those besides angel are very light hearted too
Aaaaa cant wait more b.a.p
I'm living for these B.A.P reactions! Loved this and your previous video, hope to see more. Their mvs, title tracks and albums are sooo good. They have zero bad songs (IMO). Also, Badman is my favourite song of all time, I just really love everything about it!
B.A.P, Infinite and Exo are the ones who dragged me into kpop and I really missed them and the time they were active as a group.
You definitely need to check out their lyrics. All of bap song had deep meaning. As deep as Yongguk's voice. For Badman, I read somewhere back then that Yongguk wrote it after watching news.
next time you should definitely include "Honeymoon" ^^ it's one of my fav B.A.P songs
NEEEEED MORE BAP RJ!!!!!!!!!! you haaaave to react to Body and Soul, Coffee shop, stop it & 1004 !! BEGGING!!!
B.A.P again! 🤩🤩🤩
Gracias por reaccionar otra vez a B.A.P... Espero ver más de ellos.
Thank you for other reaction!! Skydive is that song
yea with b.a.p you will need translation. but for sure, check it only after watching the mv haha
Skydivefrom what i can understand is all about mental illness - insecurities, traumas etc. That's why they said emotion revolution...
Edited: i meant wake me up
I assume you mean Wake Me Up :)
@@maliii266 owwww thanksss for correcting... hahaha totally out of my mimd today... yes, its wake me up
@@nyek1246 don’t worry about it haha
Waiting for more B.A.P
If you do a part 3 I have some recommendations ☺️
Hurricane, 1004, Feel so good and YoungWild&Free
Yes thank you for coming back.
BAP never fails ❤
One song I really am interested to see your reaction to is Honeymoon. Apparently it's not as famous but their vocals in there are 🔥 One of my fave!
Hi RJ, nice to see you react to my favorite boy group. If you are interested in seeing another side of B.A.P, I recommend some songs for you.
1. Coffe shop
2. Feel so good
3. Stop it
4. Where are you, what are you doing now
5. Honeymoon
Enjoy your journey :)
All of the songs are from their last album. It was AMAZING.
i'd like to recommend songs that are different from what you've heard so far from them. most people know them best for these types of songs, but their discography is quite diverse!
for more soft b.a.p: Stop It, Coffee Shop, Where Are You?, Feel So Good
for more upbeat b.a.p: That's My Jam, Honeymoon, Moondance(this one was only a promoted bside on music shows, so there's no mv)
and a couple more along the style of what you've heard/watched already: 1004 and Young, Wild, & Free
thank you for reacting to bap!! it seriously made my night being able to watch both of your videos. if you want to see more sides of them i would recommend songs such as feel so good, thats my jam, (both fun and upbeat songs) and coffee shop (more of a ballad)! i would also love to see your reaction to 1004 (angel).
honestly im holding back from recommending every mv LMAO theres also honeymoon, young wild & free, and hands up that are all great songs too! thanks so much for checking them out, it's not often i see people check out bap these days and it makes me so happy to see!
rain sound supremacy
Coffee Shop please! ~ And Hurricane or Honeymoon it is something completely different.
Btw the interlude songs in Skydive are Fermata and Pray. 🫱🏻🫲🏼💛
I thought we were going to do all music videos chronologically .. but this is fine too. Part 3 please!!
PART 3! PART 3! PART 3!
Rain Sound will always be my fav sad song. Please next B.A.P - Hurricane MV.
And please do Teen Top MV Marathon. They're from 2nd generation of kpop boy group as well.
- Clap
- To You (dance ver.)
- Be My Girl
- Miss Right
- I'm Sorry
Pleasee get into Tvxq next they are 2nd gen their visuals, performances, & vocals are top tier I reccomend wrong number, bolero live, love in the ice live, tonight, summer dream, & rising sun you will fall in love for background info they started as 5 members but are now a duo due to 3 leaving after sueing sm, they are legends in Asia to this day & pioneered for the future generation they opened the way for idols in Japan and before they came out people thought idols couldn’t sing but they sure showed them they were wrong with their debut, they have my favorite vocals to this dayyyy
Yong guk. You should check out his solo work and zelo the maknae has solo songs
**edit** btw badman was filmed here in Michigan right in Detroit 😊
Yongguk wrote Wake Me Up after he returned from hiatus. He deals with some mental health issues, so he tries to shine a light on the silent struggle that is mental health. Badman came out before WMU.
Thanks for reacting to B.A.P, this was an excellent group and there is still more to see like "Hurricane", "Feel So Good", "Honeymoon", "Hands Up", "1004", etc. Please react to them again❤️
Thank you rjkpop😊. For part 3 I want to recommend live performances: Coma, Punch, Bangx2 and I remember/voice message.
But if you want to stay with reacting to MV: Honeymoon, Hands Up, Hurricane, That's my Jam and Feel so good.
Yes, they did inserting their B-side song in Skydive mv.
Song title: Pray, Fermata.
skydive was SUCH a moment!! and jongup might've been insane/psychopathic, but he looked hot doing it 😔😔
Rewatching this, RJ during Skydive "Wow, this is a very pretty scene", and it's literally the neon colors in his room.
Skydive deserved an oscar and a grammy imo
we ned part 3😭😭
PART 3 PLEASEEEE
wake me up had been my wake up alarm everyday since college
I just found out you were filming reactions to b.a.p.👁️👁️ I BEG YOU! I am as an ardent fan of this group, with all my strength and prayers I ask you listen Pray. it's a song that gives strength but despair. written in depression, but giving hope. it’s a song written and sung only by rappers. Pray also playing in skydive at the beginning and in the middle. I love this song sooo sooo much! Lyrics just like chef kiss 🛐 i mean, just look at this : "Your ears are in the lonely sound of the wind
In despair, even this desperate dream
Kneels down before you
In the river of reality
Diving dyin wave"
Guys who stiil doesn't know this song... Go to listening! Right now!
I bloody love B.A.P!!!!!!
I miss them so, thank you to make this clip.
Wake me up is a special kinda song to me. Heard it first back when I was just getting into kpop, and it's still one of my favourites now, years later. Still makes me tearyeyed and all shivery whenever I listen to it
"Back in the day" we would often get 2 mv versions. One more movie lik3 and then a dance version. And not just for B.A.P
thank u for reacting to them..
I WAS WAITING FOR IT
9:43 RIGHHHTTTT?! JUNG DAEHYUN'S VOICE IS PERFECT.
As a choir singer, I am totally amazed by his voice, he can sing ballad, pop even rock! I want to hear his voice again :")
I need more B.A.P
Hurricane❤❤
You need to hear and watch some of their liggter songs and mvs!!
More B.A.P react pls!!!
Насчет рэпа Zelo - котова все отдать ради этого момента в начале второго куплета в honeymoon 😹 как по мне, лучший рэп кусочек во всем кейпопе!!! 🥵
I'M HERE AGAIN! AAAAA THANK YOU RJ. Can I recommend you to check out Teen Top too? They're my 2nd gen bias group.
Also, WHY ARE WE ALWAYS SHOOTING PEOPLE? Lmao 🤣 It's because we're B.A.P and Babyz. 😂
Ay Dios extraño a bap 😢
Bap그립다.
최고의 아이돌중 하나였다.
모든 노래가 정말 좋았다.
Umarım grubun diğer şarkılarını da dinlersin. Reaksiyon için teşekkürler...
no because i wholeheartedly believe that bap had a direct correlation to the creation of mafia fanfiction
Next part 3!!
