    Nice work! Now you have not only a mini skid steer, but you also have a mobile hydraulic power pack, if you add yourself a set of quick connects, you can then make or hire attachments for other jobs. Ps, a lifting jib would be very handy for unloading from the pickup truck.

      Unfortunately I could not find any specs on the pump, but from my bucket test, it can do 8gpm at 16volts to motor and that's where I like the noise to be, very quite. The drive motor are Danfoss 9cubic 16gpm/2800lbs/in of torque. I will make a new video with details on the components.

    I love your machine, I have a similar machine I bought from a back-yard engineer but mine is built on a zero-turn mower type of design and is gas powered, I am debating either converting mine to Electric or just starting from scratch to build one like yours and re-use all my hydraulic gear.

    • @devildestiny555
      @devildestiny555  Рік тому +1

      If your current machine can do all you wanted and you just want to convert it to electric, then go for it. But if you want more power or heavier duty, might as well start from scratch and sell the one you currently have. Good luck!

    I have question about elektromotor power setting: would it be possible to make this 'automatic'? So perhaps on target pressure, if it drops it increases power, else it decreases. Love this design, but was thinking that this fixed % power setting could be made automatic.

      Maybe, you can probably put a governor on it, but I just don't think it's that important. As I haven't seen it bog down that much because it has so much torque. Unlike the gasoline engine.

      I'm not sure if its worth it for me to make these to sell, it takes a lot of work. You can buy them commercial machine, they run 25-35k for a new one and 15k or so for used one. I wouldn't think anyone would spend 10-15k for my machine since it's a diy and hasn't been fully tested or warranty.

      @@richardzhang1447 commercial construction company just starting to get into electric.. Toro make a Toro E Dingo, but they don't even have the price advertised... make me think that it got to be way more expensive than their fuel version. There's a couple more brand from Australia you can find. I certainly can make more and better version of mine. But I am not sure if anyone will buy mine at 15k? Would you? Because if less than 10k then it won't be worth it for me because of small production.

    • @richardzhang1447
      @richardzhang1447 2 роки тому

      @@devildestiny555 Yeah I think theyre going to try and charge more for electric vs fuel. It's a shame really. I think it's worth 10-12k to me. I also dont need a ton of battery life, that helps cut down the cost dramatically. I think 2 hours of operating time between charges would be more than enough for me

      I can, but most people expect this to be cheap and it's not. The commercial fuel machine are 20-30k new, the EV version are 30-40k. But people are expecting me to build this machine and sell it to them for 5k... yeah right... with material cost rising... the materials alone is already more than 5k.
