The best taste of music by Bama on this wonderful Overture,very beautiful and difficult for any band to play. I really enjoy listening to concert bands playing this very difficult musical pieces.
This is very memorable overture for me and the Rosarian Band founders and members. (the pensionados band of Rosario, Cavte , well known also as the "Banzai Band" among the locals.) This is their winning piece at the National Band Competition after Liberation of Manila at Quiapo Plaza Miranda. My Dad was the flute player , Angel Castro, Lolo Moises Castro was the clarinet player and Lolo Leopoldo Buenviaje was the baritone player. Lolo Pondong Buenviaje also won the solo instrument portion with the Concertino por Don Juan Coma baritone solo. Thanks so much for sharing this kabanda Matanda.
