It does feel like they took the worst things from the older games and put them all into 6. No feeling of momentum, the physics arent based in reality. When the bike gets a kick the game saves it for you. All you really have to do is steer and hold that right trigger down.
For me the game just feels so slow and im trying to go so fast that i end up just going too fast for the game and get the stupidest kicks off the track in any corner the game sees fit, sometimes it wont turn, it drifts to the side in the air, shit i can hit all the same lines on a 125 as i can the 450, your rider goes full tard and is leaning off one side of the bike when you scrub and whip, it just feels hard to be good at a dirtbike game in this game
You noticed that all the SX games is based of SX 1 and 2 nothing really has changed the maps just edited and over priced compounds and season pass , I don't see any SX games after 2 worth premium
I respectfully disagree with you, Spencer. I have purchased and played MX and SX games for over 15 years, on Pc and Console. I want to set perspective first; I think the best title to this day is "MX vs ATV Alive". The game nailed the physics and enjoyment while playing on-line on PVMP mode. I played that game for years. Moving on, I want to give my opinion, that since the inception of using the Unreal Engine, the game has been, at most, barely tolerable and frustrating to play, alone or on-line. The physics have been atrocious for years now (the float of the bike always felt like I was riding on the moon!)! I think, with this game, they are almost on-point. I am playing it on, Xbox Series X with optimization set to the default settings. For breaking, I use separate inputs (LT/rear-RP/front). In addition, I use manual shifting (A button/up-B button/down). I am liking this new title very much! I say this with some reservation; I think it is too forgiving when coming up short on landings. I love the improved physics of the bike feeling heavier all-around. Granted, I have only played for about 10 hours now, but I am enjoying it SO MUCH more than, SX5. I feel like I finally got my money's worth!
Clearly nobody here has played PS1 supercross games 🤣.... seriously though I haven't bought a supercross game since Supercross 4. It's all the same game

Having actually raced real MX for over 17 years, this game is the closest of any title from milestone, using the "Unreal Engine", to feel somewhat real. I feel like I wasted money on it. It seems like the idea behind it was great but the execution was horrible. At least set up the difficulty to where it is manageable to play for first time players. Than change that difficulty to the technical skills. I was thinking if it had a clutch button allow a player to feather the clutch through some of the difficult sections and allow suspension preloading. The drifting effects are terrible. I would love to nail ruts and use the ruts from the previous laps. I hope this helps the developers for the near future. Trying to be as real as I can be. Track graphics are extremely fluffy. It’s bad and lazy but I love supercross and motocross so much that I enjoy playing it still. Instead of the big inside berm I’d be okay if they came up with some randomly generated smaller deep ruts you can lock into in every corner. Ones that are almost always different every race that’s not in one event. Can be one, two, three ruts. Some can come together or not, they can be various distances away from each other. One inside and outside and one or two in the middle. Or in the 90 degrees just have an inside one or ones that are on the jumps you single into a rhythm or something. I think ppl would enjoy that a lot more than the one inside berm. Idk, if you think that’s a reasonable middle ground to having full reflex style deformation or just visual deformation. I know nothing about designing and building games but it’s hard for me to believe that if you have the ability to make deformation visual where you have rode that you could make it react to the bike if you ride through it again, even just a little bit let alone what would make it an awesome experience every race.. thanks for your thoughts bro!
The best motocross game for CONSOLE is Mx vs Atv legends. Rainbow studios actually cares about their community and actually tries to make their games good.
I’m not lying to you i ride though every track like it’s arena long whoops section. Can’t even preload suspension which every game has had since about 98’
I don’t usually comment, but I’ll give my input. I’m new to the supercross franchise. I’ve been playing reflex and alive over and over, but honestly getting bored. The A.I. it’s so slow and non competitive that it’s boring. So I bought supercross 5 yesterday, and the initial gameplay I thought was garbage, but as I’m getting used to it it’s not that bad. With everything set to realism it’s fun (frustrating as hell, but fun). The AI is actually fast, though they all cut the corners so low and so fast it’s like racing a bunch of cooper webs. My biggest dislike is the bike control/physics. If they could put reflex control/physics into supercross 5,I would buy it in a heartbeat
I don’t plan on buying it unless it’s on a big sale. I’m not a huge fan of supercross series since they are basic and there is nothing amazing in the games. Go get these letter to spell SHAPE like wtf year are they still in. Idk maybe when supercross 10 I might try the games again. I’m currently play 4-5 and don’t like them much. I’m bias cuz reflex felt so good. Speed was there and handling.
Why is the scaling in this game so inconsistent? Why are there no new animations for the rider on ground/mid air? Why does the rider have to be so stiff? Where the hell is the momentum in this game? Why does it look so floaty and cushiony to the point where the game makes it difficult to crash? Where’s the fluidity and fast paced racing? Physics? Non existent, all non existent.

I saw they take a year in a half and make a super Moro cross game where there’s supercross promotocross and the super moto cross championship in it and make ruts there so they form and all that
And they want to charge top dollar for this shit this should be the best one yet what a letdown because I love Monster Energy Supercross I've owned every one except this just cuz I was waiting to see the reviews and thank God I did wait it looks terrible
I couldn’t disagree more,it’s clear you haven’t played much or been online, there is massive jumps, the physics this year are some of the best in the series, the tracks feels awesome this year,it’s over all super fun. Yes the ai needs some work and there is a few bugs here and there but nothing fake breaking at this time.
I got it earlier today and it’s actually really fun to play but also a tiny bit frustrating. But with all due respect stop complaining every single time these games come out.
he s not complaining every single time with no reason...we re at 6th game plus mxgps....they re going 1 step further and 2 steps back..at this time every new game should be flawless or at least better than the previous one...and it is never that way.
Thank you somebody had to say it. People dislike some stuff about a game and then start exaggerating how bad things are. Once he said he would rather play sx1 then sx6 I didn’t have to hear anything else smh
I think it’s a fun game but I think the problem is that it isn’t as fun as 3 and it hasn’t progressed much since then. For instance, they’re pretty much the only dirt bike triple A game yet the only dirt bike game that doesn’t have terrain deformation that actually effects the track. Which is bad because games from over a decade had it. Not to mention there’s “retain deformation” but it doesn’t actually resemble anything realistic or like I said earlier, have an actually effect on the game. I try to support these games because I want them to keep being made, but it is kind of disrespectful that milestones won’t actually listen to their fam base. I think Spencer’s criticisms are accurate too. The game is sluggy and the jumps are either too rounded or too small. It feels like the game did not make a natural positive evolution from 3. Instead it feels like they started chasing the cash and stopped improving the game they way they should’ve
I also think that the inside berm is kind of off. I like the idea of pre made as opposed to terrain deformation if that’s the approach they want to take. However, a berm and rut aren’t the same thing and they kind of ruined the ability to square people up and actually taking the top of the berm because the turning feels weird now. I feel like taking the outside berm is a chore and you can’t even cut down either which stinks. I’m enjoying the game but I wish they would’ve done something better than just new tracks and inside berm. Especially since new tracks is bare minimum.
Bought sx5 after not buying any of their games for years. I only bought it because it was $9 on ps and after playing it, its not even worth that. I would be pissed if i paid $70 for this. Shit i want my $9 back
I feel like you can’t control the bike. It’s too jerky like that’s where I’m having problems with an auger operation fucking motocross in arena cross. It’s like you can’t control the bike. In my opinion you just wide open and you can’t take a turn properly maybe it’s because I’ve only been playing it for eight days but anybody else feel that way please let me know and. Comment plz

Bro you would use the worst track in the game to use for your review 😭
looks like the bike weighs 1000 pounds
I saw they take a year in a half and make a super Moro cross game where there’s supercross promotocross and the super moto cross championship in it and make ruts there so they form and all that
it feels like your playing as an ai instead of a player. Game is trash. MXGP21 best moto game ever.
And they want to charge top dollar for this shit this should be the best one yet what a letdown because I love Monster Energy Supercross I've owned every one except this just cuz I was waiting to see the reviews and thank God I did wait it looks terrible
Awful game. I just uninstalled it and went back to supercross 4.
I play supercross 2 over this pos game this game feels like it's in slow mo
i can’t believe they get away producing it it’s fucked uo
I couldn’t disagree more,it’s clear you haven’t played much or been online, there is massive jumps, the physics this year are some of the best in the series, the tracks feels awesome this year,it’s over all super fun.
Yes the ai needs some work and there is a few bugs here and there but nothing fake breaking at this time.
@@MrGoldfishwish we know you are a clown kid
The bike looks like it handle like crap in the turns
It’s the best game so far . You complain about everything. I will say the Cornering does look and feel wonky
Not bad game bike to fast
your a bot bro
I’d rather watch paint dry than play this trash
Supercross 6 is the most boring game period
If you ride in real life a game shouldn't simply matter to you 👍
can someone send me 5 dollars for nic pouches
You gonna make a better one? Till you can why are you talking
NPC comeback
@@RobbieEgelstad lmao
Usually I'll play the games before trashtalking but omg this looks so fucking bad to play.
4,5 and 6 feels a same game
I got it earlier today and it’s actually really fun to play but also a tiny bit frustrating. But with all due respect stop complaining every single time these games come out.
Same
he s not complaining every single time with no reason...we re at 6th game plus mxgps....they re going 1 step further and 2 steps back..at this time every new game should be flawless or at least better than the previous one...and it is never that way.
Especially since new tracks is bare minimum.
the first is better!! 5 & 6 sucks!!!!!!!!
I agree pure garbage! three is the best out of them all
Does this game not feel twitchy like you turn your joystick just a hair and it throws you all are course 🤷🏽♂️
Bought sx5 after not buying any of their games for years. I only bought it because it was $9 on ps and after playing it, its not even worth that. I would be pissed if i paid $70 for this. Shit i want my $9 back
your weird bro
I feel like you can’t control the bike. It’s too jerky like that’s where I’m having problems with an auger operation fucking motocross in arena cross.
It’s like you can’t control the bike. In my opinion you just wide open and you can’t take a turn properly maybe it’s because I’ve only been playing it for eight days but anybody else feel that way please let me know and. Comment plz
