When i was in an intermediate level in English i made my whole phone in English, now after i became in an advanced level i couldn't put back in my mother language (Arabic) because i got used to it!
LingoDeer is really good for Asian languages (Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese)! It's totally free and is so extensive that it's hard to believe there's no catch. They're starting to add Spanish, French, Portuguese, and German as well. I definitely reccommend it!
thanks for posting this video. I'm French and learning deutsch, Chinese and I'm trying Spanish which for some reason is the more difficulte to me lol. thanks again and good luck.
Hi badraty! Thanks for commenting. It's surprising that Spanish is the most difficult for you since it is much closer to French than Chinese or German. I'm glad the video helped you, and I wish you luck in your language learning!
The first tip you said by changing the phone or tablet in the languege you want to learn is the best thing I've ever heard. Is a very good tip. I'll do it ^-^
Thank you! For example if you can learn more vocabulary you can follow many pages on facebook, for example I want to learn english so I follow on facebook Fox news, cnn, blogs, famous people etc etc from native speaker. Its a really good tip and very helpfull. (sorry for my spelling, still learning) bye.
for those saying memrise isn't free, yes it is. the official courses aren't free *however* there wre plenty of free courses as well. especially if your learning a well known language.
Thank you so much for this video! I've known about some of these apps but I've never gotten around to using more than Duolingo (which I'm not the biggest fan of) ! I had no idea there were language learning communities on Reddit and there were so many times when I could've used that~ Also, another app you haven't mentioned is HiNative which is basically a Quora for languages, if that makes sense. You create a profile, check the language you are learning and the level you're at and you can post questions and natives will answer. It's really cool because the person answering will see your current level and will (probably) reply in a way that's easy to understand for that level, You can also record an audio and ask them to correct your pronunciation.
10 years ago I used a FREE website called livemocha.com. It was exactly the same as Hello Talk. I learnt how to speak German there. It’s such a shame they closed it down. Most likely so they could monetise from apps like these 😭
Memrise won’t let me do new levels it makes me pay
Yeah! That actually don't help us because if we wanna learn anything else we have to pay for it
I'm learning Español from memrise app. And I have to pay to unlock new level 😭.
To gain something we have to lose something... 😭. True 💯

I bet that was a huge he,p to your language learning! Reading in your Target Language every day is so easy and natural, but SO helpful!

Memrise costs money once you get to a certain point.
Memrise is no longer free if anyone sees this
Why do people keep saying this? I just started a new free account today. No payment, no credit card, no questions asked.
Fingtam Languages maybe because you’re already high level. I just started the app and after first level it makes you pay
It’s free, it’s only if you choose the free version.
for those saying memrise isn't free,

I’m a little scared to use hello talk. It seems amazing but I’m scared to meet cat fishers. Should I try it?
Memrise is AMAZING but it’s not free
If you get to the third level or something like that you have to pay
Use the website
Thank you for the video. Regarding Hello talk. How can you be sure what is corrected for you, is actually correct and not a mistake in itself?
Have you tried Unuhi? It's a bilingual book app for kids where you choose the languages. My kids love it on the iPad.
I dis this years back when I was working on improving my English.
