I feel like the general bubble here is to put God in front of this whole world, be discerning, and know that even the most harmless thing could be an idol: example, coffee. Everything in this world fades, God is eternal and forever. Our jobs, our kids, our thoughts...etc..... all have the ability to be an idol. Put God first.
For me I see a cross as the greatest example of love. I see crosses everywhere in so many things and in those moments it reminds me to pray. For me, it has grown my relationship closer to my savior and my Heavenly Father and reminds me of how much I am loved. I would never worship a “thing” there is no power in it. I have seen and felt His love and power and peace though. So for me I will keep the cross around as a reminder of his love, a reminder to stop what I’m doing and thank him and just be in his presence and how Jesus took on all of that for me. It still blows my mind! I am a very visual person and he knows me. He knows my heart. He knows I am HIS! I love him so much. I definitely do not love an item. This is the difference. ❤ but if you pray to the cross… that wouldn’t make sense to me.
An example I see all too frequently is college/professional sport team logos on shirts jackets ect. worn in church. Local large video church has at least one and sometimes two presenters( I don't like to think of them as ministers) or prayer leaders with logos. Recent bad weather gave me a chance to see with new eyes the Charm, Idol, worn by so many this isn't a sporting event.
This is the problem with you, those who claim to be true believers. You do not accept other ideas, you cannot survive with those of a different faith. When you come and claim that a dream catcher is the object of Satan, you have already demonstrated a narrow mind. That's what the inquisition did, that's what the crusaders did, they killed in the name of a cruel god, who likes to punish the innocent and forgive sinners and criminals. See about Malleus Maleficarum. you are worthy of mercy, let those of another faith live, there is enough room for everyone in the world.
May the yolk these things be broken off of you, in Jesus name! It's the exact opposite of your statement. The idolatry of it is based on "superstition".

It’s all true. What seems innocent just allows the adversary in. Don’t let it!
LOVED this episode!!❤

Parents. Don’t buy ouji boards for your kids.
Why does the AI voice sound like Rev. Billy Grahm and not C.S. Lewis?
