  • The thanksgiving ceremony of ULB elected Councillor #Zeneivonuo #Nakhro from ward 4, Nagabazar, Kohima took place at #Nagabazar Panchayat Hall in Kohima on July 13.
    Nakhro was elected to Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) in the recent ULB Election 2024 on Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) party ticket from Ward 4.
    In her speech, Nakhro assured to fulfill all her vision with the collective support, guidance and cooperation from every section of the societion.
    Nakhro said her first priority will be to solve the water problem with the collective support from the government. ‘Whatever stated in my vision during my campaign, I will give my best service for the welfare and overall development of the colony,’ she said.
    She thanked NDPP party workers for their guidance and support throughout her journey.
    She also appreciated all the members of Ward 4 for reposing faith in her and elected her to represent them in the KMC.
    She seek cooperation and support from all the members of the ward and called upon the colony members to approach her anytime. She said “I cannot go along in this journey, we will all work together for the welfare of the ward, my door is open to all of you.”
    Vilasielie Solo, Nagabazar Panchayat Chairman; NDPP 9th Kohima town AC president Krodiho Kennao; NDPP Kohima Region President Prasielie Pienyu and Khrielievi Chüsi, Deputy Chairman, KMC also delivered short speeches.
    The programme was led by Neiba Bio while Keduolhoulie Huozha, Working President NDPP Kohima region delivered the welcome address and the vote of thanks was proposed by Khriengulie Rio, Vice President Youth Wing NDPP Kohima region.
    Dr. Ruokuozelie Pienyü, Pastor House of Prayer Ministry and Pastor Ruokuowhelie Pienyu, Upper Nagabazar Baptist Church pronounced the invocation and benediction respectively.
