@@georgezacharopoulos3224 Monkey calling it 3.5 implies they were already using Nitrox 3 for the first few realms. Which makes sense, considering Tesla had multiple years to improve his design

I drive manual today because of these movies, and learned how to optimally In less than an hour. It’s amazing how much of this I committed to memory for driving as a kid
You're right it's way smoother. Whoever animated that scene either has a good work flow or the dude simply skipped his lunch time and forgot that sleeping was a thing. Either way he deserves a promotion. Edit: Also if you look closely the camera angle shows both legs and his right arm. They are all in constant movement compared to other scenes (Like banjee on the previous clip) where you only see the foot pushing on the pedal. Also when he shifts, his pinky goes up and that detail alone is satisfying to watch.
Dude this gear shift lives rent free in my head. Not joking. Still lives with me to this day. This gear change blew my mind as a little kid and made me want a manual car even more.
@@Heekuta not just a drift thing, it's been around since the road racing days. what it is is simply blipping the throttle for a downshift while also braking- this makes for smooth downshifts without locking the rears (and spinning out) when driving an RWD car. it's general practice if you're trying to slow down really fast- the smooth engine braking helps a lot!
I dunno what it is about the first scene with Kurt hitting the nitrox in slingshot but that F1 V12 roaring like that will never not send chills down my spine. Yes slingshot is my favorite and yes I would die for Kurt
This video is satisfying!! Fun fact: when watching the movie in Brazillian Portuguese, the narrator always says "Nitrox 2" when they show "Nitrox 2" written on screen!! It makes these scenes even more epic!!
There is a forgotten button press right at the end after Vert uses the rest of his Nitrox to go up the ramp to return the Wheel of Power...Just saying, it is one of my favorite movies after all LOL

In Brazilian dubs is common for a narrator traduce the foreign words that appear in the screen, so every time someone used Nitrox 2 , he would use an epic voice and said nitrox 2 in portugues , wich is : "Nitox 2" 🤡it was dumb, but sounded cool

Accurate.

sends the car spiraling upwards
Nitrox in Acceleracers:

One is nitrox 2 and the other is nitrox 3'5 if see the change happens in the second movie

I really think that the camera work in this is genuinely pioneering. This was back in the early days of CGI animation. And the sound design, my god.
oh yes the multiple perspectives are unparalleled. the movie is a masterpiece.
I've always appreciated that they animated the drivers hitting the brakes and clutch at the same time when they make a sudden/emergency stop 👌
3:03 The little jaw making it look like the skull is laughing is perfect
These would be awesome in a SFX library. Well done!
thank you so much for commenting on my video I like your channel
What about your only sfx movie version you can take all the sounds from it, no?

That's pretty impressive, I'm considering learning manual myself. Any tips / advice ?
1:08 Why is this one so smooth when skeet changes gears
Dr. RL123 idk
Like if you pay attention, all of the other ones are a little more stiff and less fluid, but when skeet does it... it looks way smoother

Man the sound design in 35 is way better than acceleracers. Especially engine sounds
This video has hot wheels references
World race had a much larger budget than acceleracers, so the production quality of most things was better.
0:22 That is the single best sounding rev in the movie
0:58 My friend who drives a stick died when she saw Vert hit the clutch, gas, and brake simultaneously
Apparently it's an actual thing called a Heel Toe Shift. It's from the drift scene so I have no idea what it does but it's a thing.
it´s a drift thing
Yeap you are right if im not wrong the Heel Toe Shift is for helping you to doing a curve in high speed

I love how this dude includes Tesla smashing that like button 'nom what I'm sayin'?
Oddly satisfying
They could make a full movie of just this and I would still watch it
The gear shift satisfies me to no end.
2:44 the coolest
I still vividly imagine most of the clips whenever I'm driving and do something similar

Definitely some of my favorite moments in the movie lol
This movie is why i became a car nerd lol
Loved this movie
I appreciate that it's EVERY button pressed
Clutch kicking.exe
Gummylox I don't get it...
Heel and Toe
Kadeem got to be the only car that has a clutched paddle shifter lmao
Probably the only one in the series, but in real life many race-focused cars have this setup, checkout the BAC Mono, clutch pedal and paddle shifted
OMFG YES, THIS IS PERFECT FOR MY GIF. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Hector Bellerin your very welcome man! (Or as vert wheeler would say) no problem at all dude!
The front suspension of those cars must fuckin hate Tezla for inventing nitrox 2 lmao
0:58 some heel toe action 😌
1:33 I still don't understand HOW you'd be able to do such a thing. In video games it'd be easy but in real life....
It mostly has to do with breaking tire traction while also getting enough momentum to shift the weight. It’s called a J-turn
Tbh I'd love to have some of the gear shifts as gifs
Dude definitely do Acceleracers.
I love saying "WEE HAH" and i never knew where i picked it up from now i do
0:16 did you notice that made the same noise as from the NFSU2 menu?
Funny that both have nitrox
No way!!!!!
That frl just blew my mind I never knew that
