Probably my favorite theme for Amuro fightin'. No idea why, it's just so calm and composed. It suits his post-counterattack SRW personality perfectly. He's a man who knows exactly who he is and what he's fighting for, and doesn't bother glorifying it.
@rednekoboy I agree, i would like to see kira beam spam his way through amuro's fin funnel shield, also on that note the strike freedom is based off the hi-nu gundam.
Probably due to the rekindled intrest of super robot shows, and that most of american TV has really gone downhill, I'm not naming a few good ones, as some have "controversey" surrounding them.. ;_;
Loran isn't that absurd of a pilot, but the Turn-A can defeat anything mechanical with such ease it's not even up for consideration. Domon is a super robot that dodges like a real, although Amuro could beat him by playing the range game (using funnels, rifles, Vulcans, and other such things with his powers to beat God Gundam). Although I'd say in UC, Tobia beats him, because... well, he's TOBIA, and absurdly awesome. HE BEAT A MOBILE SUIT ON FOOT AND GETS MONKEY MOBILE SUIT REINFORCEMENTS.
Lando Bell had to deal with the stigma of the Titans... But the Titans only came about because the Zeon rats were sore losers! Char could have been a good guy... But he just had to throw a tantrum and try to destroy the earth. All in favor of bolstering Lando Bell numbers, Say "yea"!

Well when it really gets down to it, Kira's relying on overwhelming firepower. Amuro's charged entire armadas worth of firepower and gotten away from all of it before. Heero and Garrod both can't hit him with the major weapons they have and their talent out of sheer firepower leaves something to be desired, and the ZERO System can't predict someone who can see approximately five seconds into the future. That leaves the psychic versus the empath.
@Azureman012 You're probably right. Kamille, Judau and Usso showed the raw talent but Seabook/Kincaido (ARRRRR) had enough experience which might put him on par with these two.
@Hakkun9872 Hi-nu only appeared in CCA's novelization. CCA:Beltorchika's Children. Basically it's a more buffed up Nu gundam.... with nicer design in my opinion. Amuro uses it in his battle with Char's Nightingale. Not much to say, just imagine it being NU gundam's upgrade, though that's not totally accurate.
Yeah since Heero's and Garrod's weapons are quite unsuitable for fighting an MS with great mobility like the Nu/Hi-Nul Kira, meanwhile, as Master Asia puts it, he relies too much on his weapons and not his skill.

I know that the Satellite cannon\Twin Satellite cannon and the hand carried variants are quite powerful,but Garrod never used them to blow a giant asteroid falling to earth...

Most of what I know about what happens in the novel comes from playing SRW games. Still, maybe I'm wrong and there is an adapted version of the novel. I wasn;t looking for it anyway, not around where I'm from.

How can u not like Amuro? He's so..I mean..gaack! I can't explain it! I watched the english dub of mobile suit gundam, played the gundam game on ps1, and got hooked on saying "GUNDAM HAMMER!" I guess how you feel about Amuro differs since u probably weren't a fan of him right away.
Honestly, Amuro's biggest challenge would probably be Setsuna F. Seiei. Hi-Nu is a wonderful machine, and Amuro an incredible pilot, but even if he's just in 00 Raiser, Setsuna's Innovator abilities more resemble the true Newtype abilities than any other pilot, and offer him some distinct advantages (quantization being the biggest one). Between Heero, Garrod, Kira and Setsuna, Set would probably be the only to give Amuro a fight worthy of remembering for very long.
Nor did Heero Yuy. He only took a out a chunk of a space station that wasn't even the size of a space colony. The Gundam X(AW) colonies are the same size as the UC colonies and bigger the the AC colonies.

The thing about gundam wing is that those pilots never fought like military style they only fought each other and ozz where gundam all the way to cca especially in zeta gundam everyone got killed or went missing and unlike armuro heroo let's zechs get away
it's a good thing Heero let Zechs go too, he helped save their asses in Endless Waltz. also, Amuro was trying the save Char as well in the end, he never meant for them to die. though it could be argued that Amuro did end up "saving" Char, if you've seen Unicorn. besides neither, Char nor Zechs are evil characters, as their goals were well meaning, just impatient & a bit misguided.

Nope. Heero has the advantage of a smaller, lighter mech, with an advanced CPU. That's it. He could take Garrod. Yamato flat cheats. Amuro is PSYCHIC. On equal MS terms Amuro hasn't lost a fight since the OYW ended.
I was never referring to the weapon of the MS as the main subject,and i know the power of the TWB is nothing compared to the Twin sat cannon... But pilot wise I'm pretty sure Heero could beat the crap out Amuro,Jesus yamato and Garrod.

There’s usually some justification as to why they just simply can’t Obliterate Axis anytime We have CA and Double X together. Case in point Z3
