I'm loving Erin's house so far! I wish we could see more old three birds BTS, it feels more rushed now. I also would love to see Erin explaining her vision/collab with everyone on the designing side, it comes across as if she's not having a say (I know thats not true)
I would've loved to see more of the rooms we didn't get to see much in this episode! Feel free to make the episodes as long as you want because we'll watch it!
AMAZING. YOU 3 Birds absolutely rock. The Reno, the ideas, the styling, the editing. So so professional. Better than ANY home renovation show on tv. Congrats girls.
I’m finding the reveal a bit odd in that the rooms and details aren’t being showed fully, slowly and in detail. That powder room is gorgeous but such a quick glimpse, I need more! Is it just me? Generally I’ve felt this a little In all houses but more so in this one.
This house is gorgeous!!!! Can I get tired of saying it? Nope! Captivating reveal indeed! And well done to the editing team/editor because the shots, angles, music and pace, chapeau!
Love you guys! Would you consider doing a video of Bonnie and Lana’s home talking about what they love, would’ve changed/have changed etc since their Reno’s?
I was scared the charm of the original house was going to be lost with the changes, but oh my gosh what an improvement! Especially, as Bonnie said, the gable at the front door. Because it took away from the enormous slab of roof that was just one piece.
I have to say ladie's my favourite rooms are the powder & ensuite. As a building and interior designer myself, l love drawing staircases, you can be very creative and still meet the N.C.C. very successfully.😊
Called it - the tiling is to die for. I love the soft gradients of colour and the geometric patterns in the powder room. And the wave in the countertop - all of it blends like the inside of a shell, it's so gorgeous! ✨
Agree. I think the black steel glass doors would look better. I think the house has so many angles that the simplicity of the one colour for front doors and windows would work better.
Gorgeous finishes, including the amazing roof! The stone walkway at entrance is perfection and adds a special touch. Love how the left wall in foyer was extended (privacy?) by the washroom/mudroom area. It separates without being closed off. And the staircase is beautiful - tip of the hat to those carpenters/craftsmen (and women!). Can’t wait to see more!! ❤🇨🇦😊
I feel like any character the house had is just being cut away and it hurts my heart. Might as well have just built a new house. Everything is so sterile and shiny, like the house had plastic surgery. It wants to impress you so badly but ends up coming across as shallow. I can see no actual living going on in these spaces. It’s just a show house. I’ve loved 3 birds in the past, but it feels like they’re a little stuck in the past. We’re moving away from the all white minimalist thing now. Swinging towards maximalist, vibrant, personal, and livable. I was so excited to hear Erin say that her house was going to be different and have color. So far that does not seem to be the case. Yes there’s a green study, but it still feels sterile. I had to laugh when Bonnie said “we didn’t want to paint this house white” and then the camera pans to a wall of mostly white swatches with a few almost white ones mixed in. Also there’s a part of me that finds it all incredibly wasteful. Nobody needs that much space. So much in their designs exists solely for the “moment” it creates. I wonder if the majority of it will ever actually be used. I’d love to see budget break downs too. You guys talk as if all these design choices are for the everyday person, but they drip money and scream unattainable. I’m wondering how many millions go into these houses. I still think that you guys are incredibly talented at what you do, it’s just not for me any more. I’m glad you’re getting the house of your dreams Erin! You deserve it!
Calling this house sterile is insane. Its warm neutral & packed with beautiful elegant details. I agree that the scale is intimidating. If ur not rich then its not achievable nor within ur comfort level. Three birds is luxury, not budget. But we can take inspiration & replicate on a smaller scale
Beautifully articulated. All I see is product placement, after product placement. You step into a house that is there to promote stuff and sell you a dream.
So excited to have a Reno to watch again! Lovely as always. I am curious about the design decision to paint front door white vs black like the rest? Maybe to be a bit softer look? Curious to hear
That big vase at the entry looks like it was put there in a hurry before the photo shoot😂. I can see a small round table with a big vase of greenery looking stunning in that spot. And maybe even two black framed pictures and a picture light on the wall behind. 😊
Would be great to redirect the pathway so you would see the entryway from distance. But I have no idea if anybody walks in Australia or if it is mainly carrides.
Its nice to look at, but impractical I would say. F.e. That stool in the study: how long would you be able to work there in real life? And the room is so lit: hard to see anything on a laptop screen
You can almost feel Bon’s physically revulsion to putting color on the walls. Unless it’s tile. Lots and lots of tile. In multiple patters. EVERYWHERE. Wait, why doesn’t the new roof have solar panels??
I thought this house looked a bit confused in its aesthetic in the bits I saw on social, but seeing it all together it’s beautiful ❤ I do wish Three Birds would incorporate more organic pieces from stores like Clo Studios, The Worn Store etc to give places more character. I think the cookie cutter look is dating..
Why do Aussie not have more solar on the roof? There is very pretty solar cells now that look like a black roof (not on top of the roof tiles, but being the roof).
Hi lovely, here is a link to the get the look page where you can find all the 'get the look' details www.threebirdsrenovations.com/get-the-look-house-16-front-of-house xx
I wonder if anyone else if having problems with video quality? It’s a little blurry and grainy for me but when I close it and open another video on you tube, I see it clearly and perfectly….anyone?
Is it just me, or does this series have a different (=much worse) editor and director than previous series? I miss structure, story, I don't know... it feels this series is missing something in comparison to previous ones. Am I the only one feeling this?
I've enjoyed watching the house transformations over the years. But now it seems all about "moments hyps😮", all white everywhere, huge unusable spaces and ENORMOUS renovation budgets where only the wealthy can afford to do this kind of a project I'd love to know the budget for this project...I'd hazard a guess it would have to be around the million mark or more. Cheaper to build. It's moved too far away from being aspirational and attainable to being only for yuppies.
@rubyoro0 Yep. What happened to making the most of a small to modest reno budget? No point in going to Reno School either unless you're minted. Again, most grads' houses they showcase are by students who clearly have lots of money at their disposal. There is no practicality to their renovations anymore; just moments, aesthetics and image. No more tips like they used to about using different colours, saving on different materials and investing in practical design rather than the embellishments. I love how Erin refers to how her family lives in their spaces. Love, no one needs that kind of space to live in unless you're a family of 10!!! It's an advertising exercise for brands and companies now...like the Block. I'll give the Birds this much; they're not sellouts like Scott Cam. They're three ex-WAGS who are undoubtedly smart, talented and business-savvy but who also had money to bankroll their business ideas and do their own blowout renos to begin with. They forgot some of their core audience along the way and failed to realise how far they've moved in terms of their approach being accessible. It's great when you have a huge cash trough from which to feed off. I'm currently renovating a 2x1 cottage and my budget is tiny compared to what they're rolling with. I just don't relate anymore. Good tips but nothing you can't find from any other seasoned designers and renovators. Their designs and features are also becoming repetitive and tired. Not everything is about white on white, various shades of white and arches. Cavernous designs and huge budgets aren't for regular working people.
Much as I admired Lana and Bonnie's homes, Erin's is the one I could see myself living in
yyeeeessssss
Most definitely
I'm loving Erin's house so far! I wish we could see more old three birds BTS, it feels more rushed now. I also would love to see Erin explaining her vision/collab with everyone on the designing side, it comes across as if she's not having a say (I know thats not true)
I knew Erin house wasn't going to be All White.
The house is beautiful
Thanks the whole team for this progress
I would've loved to see more of the rooms we didn't get to see much in this episode! Feel free to make the episodes as long as you want because we'll watch it!

Thank you so much lovely. xx

Agreed so much build up toward wanting to see it but now it’s rushed and feels off putting.
The guys that made that staircase…..wow they’re absolute artists! What a magical entrance to such a beautiful home.
This house is gorgeous!!!! Can I get tired of saying it? Nope! Captivating reveal indeed! And well done to the editing team/editor because the shots, angles, music and pace, chapeau!
Thank you so much babe.xx

This is so fun to watch! Seeing it transform, wow. Your editor did a great job!
I have to say ladie's my favourite rooms are the powder & ensuite.
As a building and interior designer myself, l love drawing staircases, you can be very creative and still meet the N.C.C. very successfully.😊

Love this! The Reno, the ideas, the styling, the editing all in one!
Called it - the tiling is to die for. I love the soft gradients of colour and the geometric patterns in the powder room. And the wave in the countertop - all of it blends like the inside of a shell, it's so gorgeous! ✨
I LOVE the powder room. That is my favorite. ❤
We love it too! xx
So excited to see how it all turns out! 🤩
I have officially found the house style that I love.. this is just gorgeous.
We are obsessed too!!! 💓💓💓💓
"The rooftiles are the biggest eyesore", I would have to disagree. The 3 garage-doors that "welcome" you are/were the biggest eyesore in my opinion.
The white French door is clashing with the black modern farmhouse windows. I'd go for a wood stain or black modern farmhouse door.
I did wonder why those doors stayed white and weren’t matched up with the rest of the windows, but I guess she had her reasons 🤷♀️
Agree. Somehow doesn't look "front door" enough.
I think its the garage doors. They need to have a dark color and windows. Then it'll fit perfectly.
Agree. I think the black steel glass doors would look better.
I think the house has so many angles that the simplicity of the one colour for front doors and windows would work better.
I like the white front door the windows and other doors should be white!
Gorgeous finishes, including the amazing roof! The stone walkway at entrance is perfection and adds a special touch. Absolutely love the facade! What a transformation. All different textures together and perfectly meet the urban farm house brief.
Just love the choice of materials for the exterior, and the change to the entrance of the home. 👏🏻.
Nailed it!! What a transformation!! 😍♥
Thank you ❤
I have NO WORDS, beautiful, stunning, my fav house so far! a dream!
Thank you lovely.xx
What a transformation!! 😍♥The house is beautiful.
I love every house you've ever done but THIS is my dream house

So envious of that spectacular entrance way - from street level to internally - STUNNING 👏🏽💕
So excited to have a Reno to watch again! Lovely as always. I am curious about the design decision to paint front door white vs black like the rest? Maybe to be a bit softer look? Curious to hear

Amazing ilove it,more vlogs please❤😊
Why no transom on the side windows of the front door????
Outfits are beyond cute ❤
Aww thank you lovely.xx
These women are RICH RICH
Fantastic, fabulous job! What a transformation. Only thing….the wooden flooring chosen throws A LOT of pink. Too pink for me.
What is the budget for all these changes?
What is the cream color used on the walls of the entry and the powder room? It seems a little blush slighly powder pink ? Love your work girls ❤
Would be great to redirect the pathway so you would see the entryway from distance. But I have no idea if anybody walks in Australia or if it is mainly carrides.
Beautiful reno but wouldn't it have been less expensive just build new?
Yeah they should have left that house to someone that would appreciate it.
Beautiful! I haven't finished watching yet, but what is the roof made of, steel?
Its nice to look at, but impractical I would say. F.e. That stool in the study: how long would you be able to work there in real life? And the room is so lit: hard to see anything on a laptop screen
Are the front doors on automatic open close hinges?
You can almost feel Bon’s physically revulsion to putting color on the walls.
Unless it’s tile.
Lots and lots of tile. In multiple patters. EVERYWHERE.
Wait, why doesn’t the new roof have solar panels??

covering up the brick is tragic
Jail for the roof.
Waouh
Why do Aussie not have more solar on the roof? There is very pretty solar cells now that look like a black roof (not on top of the roof tiles, but being the roof).
Can you please ship me the terracotta roof tiles you took off? I would absolutely love them for the right project!!
What colour was the paint on the walls and skirting?
I don't get why they didn't style the study as a multi purpose room and bedroom for the grandparents
The outside looks like a business/warehouse. The charm was stripped away.
Where are the tiles from at the front and the roof where is it all from

The groutless stone wall looks unfinished.
Why are those ladies wearing pyjamas in the design meeting ?

whenever they showcase whites I cant see the differences lol, is it just me, pls dotell
Why is it called a powder room? Because people do coke in there? Serious question
Third comment
bar Erin, this has become just like the Block, full of bogans and product placement....
