BBCF Mods: I put Valkenhayn back into his prime

- Dude unleashes the beast that's what ._. I can't turn back the clock on his looks but I can certainly make him fight as ferociously as he could back in the Dark War. Eons later this old bastard is making his god damn video debut!!! It's been a rough year but at the rate I'm going I'll be lucky to even get a third super boss done before 2024 is out -_-. My work grievances aside my expectations going into this were...vastly outperformed. Honestly even when I actively try to not make things ridiculously over-tuned they just seem to turn out that way these days... Nonetheless the man turned out great and you can probably look forward to having him in YOUR hands in the near future. I've managed to take down every member of the six heroes so far now though (bar Terumi but I'm gunning for that SOB again eventually), can I do the same to Valkenhayn?

I actually did some valk mirrors with him with some of the guys I have testing the mod on the last CF stream I did! They were indeed very fun

I'm not a big fan of his younger self design, but I honestlycan see it be more fitting for Valkenhyn to look super similar or just like Gallagher from Honkai Star Rail in his younger days.
Really? I think he looks slick as hell personally. I was kinda blown away since I had only seen that version of him in flashback CGs in story mode of Chronophantasma I think it was maybe. Your take is good too though

On a more serious note Valk is looking to be an insane menace to play as, can't wait to do 50/50's with a reward higher than just 2.8k damage lol his maneuverability is also a big problem combined with that super that gives him armor

But yeah this almost feels like buffing Hakumen all over again. Valk IS a blast to use though and I think I can do a pretty good showing when I play him myself for the next video (hopefully)

@@aliencrashedbyaccident2110 In practice if you try to spam the hell out of it you can get totally rocked I've found. It's not *entirely* brain dead but nonetheless the cost has been reverted to what it (usually?) is. He can still do it like 4-5 times in a row if he wants

Valk's basically done, just going through testing to make sure nothing weird is going on! Caught a few bugs and oversights already, that's why I usually release these over a 3 week period of uploads.
Looking forward to reworking Nu myself, but it probably won't be for a while. I could see about poking at her while I work on Kagura next though
@@Demonseth999 Thanks for the reply (and Marie), also about the Ragna that I was working on, I decided to wait on that for a bit because I just rebooted him due to certain discoveries and ideas that came to me (should be showable in at least a week id I work on him, but that's pretty quick for me, so it may be later).
Note: Super Boss Izanami's still most broken super boss to this date and always will be.
Quick side question: Did you ever give susanoo a hidden astral finish?
Not necessarily a "hidden" one but his overdrive 632146D is effectively his instant kill. The reason being it did so much raw damage that nothing was ever going to survive it anyway. So figured I'd might as well just make it delete the enemy

Also, can you elaborate on what “wolf tech” means? Does he have Injustice 2 Aquaman trait where he can just go into wolf form and fall out of your combos?
Just strats while playing in wolf form. It's infamous for being the dirtiest high/low mixes in the game. Just watch Jona play him, you'll see what I mean.
That is exactly what it is. It's something his unlimited can do, though in chronophantasma they nerfed it so he can only do it out of grounded hitstun. In CS however, he could do it in the air too. I basically took the CS version and halved the amount of wolf gauge it costs to use. As you can see that was a horrible idea and I will definitely be returning that to normal and not touching that function any further lmao.
Between that, wolf install, and the abyss ability in overdrive Valkenhayn's definitely going to establish himself as a top threat I think. They're all manageable on their own but combined together you indeed get " a massive pool of vile degeneracy"

Hi is there anyway to add Unlimited Mars mode into this game ?
There *are* ways to access it right now via cheat engine. The mode actually exists in CF unused, but it's recycled from Chronophantasma so it's just the courses from that game with none of the new characters. And you need to actually put functioning unlimited characters into your game for it to work since the files CF has by default (besides Ragna Nine and Izanami) all crash

@@hollowstrife246 I've tried just about every level of audio possible, and no matter what, the edits are far too loud and they either jump scare me, or they force me to turn the volume too low (or mute the video entirely) so that I can't hear what Seth is saying clearly. I'm also going to copy/paste what I said to someone else in another video:
You, and everyone else watching, won't lose anything from the edits being the same volume as the match's volume. I'm autistic, so sudden loud noises like this is one of the sensory things that cause me genuine mental harm. This is the only channel I'm aware of that posts matches of GGST Boss characters and BBCF Super Boss characters fighting each other on a regular basis, and I don't want to unsub from it because of all of the hurt Seth has caused me from his loud edits and screaming. So please be respectful and let me ask for this, because it doesn't hurt you.
@Baconmutt I also have autism but got used to loud noises so they don't bother me like they used to because they would just hurt my ears but now they don't as much as they used to
