The design degrade of the mp5 in mw2 is painful
They don't have the rights to the mp5 that's why
Further proving that MW2 was a rushed, afterthought of a game that's full of cut corners, and MW3 already looks like it's doing the same thing. Both MW2 and 3 should not exist.
@@voytec448Bullshit. The MP5 has always been the same for every CoD. It's not a legal issue. It's a laziness issue.
The P90 is even worse. I physically cringe everytime I see the grip.
Honestly MW19 has better graphics (Or at least better art direction) that MW22. MW19 is also way more colorful, while MW22 feels dull and bland
Mw2019 just felt more real and gritty than Mw2
Wait till you see MWIII
It's gonna be Call of Duty: Furry Warfare with all those animal operator skins
@@SpecialOperatormodern warfure
@@SpecialOperatorcalm tf down,the game didn't even release yet 😬
Yeah, but let's admit that MW22 has a better multiplayer than MW2019 it's not that MW22 is a good game, it's still low-mid to be honest, but it's better in terms of gameplay
Some of the gameplay🤓
@@SpecialOperatorand thank god I don’t play warzone and only for the campaign
moving from 2019 to mw2 always feels so off to me, mw2019's sounds really make them feel so much better to use.
Yeah I don’t understand why they opted to give MW2’s weapons less echo and punch, they just sound worse. I do prefer the reload sounds of MW2 though
@@JackHagar i honestly prefer mw2019, though a combination of mwii reload sounds and mw2019's reload sounds would be perfect, not too harsh, and not too soft
pov: cod player discovers that guns are made of metal and dont shoot cannon balls
i miss being able to see my bullets and where they go. felt so much smoother to me.
@@RizzlinYoShizzle you blind?
One thing i dont like about MW2 is how loose the gun feels while firing. Its like the character doesnt control the recoil very well hence the visual recoil tends to be bouncy. You can visually see and feel it while watching the M4 comparison and watch their left hand, MW19 did a good job while MW2 felt like its painful and uncomfortable to have your wrist be 90 degrees of angle holding it like that while firing
It should be the other way, you should have less recoil with the MW2 grip, it’s called the C clamp technique and it works really well. So MW2019 should have more recoil
MW2 is animated far far worse than MW2019 that's for sure
@@-pROvAKyeah this is just wrong. the animations are DIFFERENT, not worse.
I can hear people complain about MW2 recoil issue all day! Like c’mon acitvision, this isn’t supposed to be 100% realistic game, it’s supposed to feel like an arcade shooter game, not a military gun simulation!
@@-pROvAKAnimated differently
Mw2019 had more thunder and distinct sounds, mw2 has more emphasis on each bullet leaving the barrel.
the dropoff from 2019 to 2022 in the sound design of every single rifle is unbelievable, mw19 really was lightning in a bottle
I think they realized in 2019 that their franchise was gonna die (by Fortnite) if they made another shit game. So they made one decent game then right back to making crap ones again
Theres a mechanical bass undertone missing from mowt of mw2's guns that does make mw2019 more realistic sounding
Anyone remember when the 725 was the meta gun right at the start of MW2019's life? Everyone was carrying it in their secondary slot and blowing people away from like twenty feet 😂
Was just as bad as the 357. With snakeshot
Hahahahahahh PTSD
And now in mw2, the duel trigger
You are saying that as if it was a good thing. My nigga I refunded modern warfare because of it.
@@YZYGWD Never said it was a good thing, just that it was funny and ridiculous. And no offense, but that was a pretty stupid thing to do; the gun was nerfed to high heaven like a month after release, and the game eventually became one of the greatest CoD titles we ever had.
The downgrade is actually insane.
The thing I don't understand is that mw2 was built on the mw2019 engine. How does it feel like a mobile game compared to mw2019??
Art Direction is key
Can’t even lie, it looks nothing like a mobile game 😂
@@fifteen8850it sounds and feels clunky like cod mobile compared to the smoothness and premium feel of MW19

@@joeroth1124 a ray gun sound remade by the sound team of mw19 would be an orgasm
MW19 just felt more real
That Spr 208 in mw2019 sounds tremendously better than the mw22 its so thunderous.
Honestly for me I'd say both sound good
I don't think either sounds definitively better. I think they both shine in different areas. MW2019 had a very good audio profile, but they muddied it up with excessive foley like shell casings being as loud as the gunshot. It also had a much flatter audio profile, with a lot less sub bass and treble, and a lot more midrange. MW2 on the other hand has weaker indoor gunshot sounds, but has a much richer audio profile with the renderer outputting a lot more frequency range. The gunshots themselves are a toss up for me. MWII imo has great gunshots, so does MW2019. Things like the M4 and AK in MWII sound better than in MW2019, while guns like the Glock, MP7, and P90 sound better in MW2019 than in MWII.

MW19's weapons didn't feel shaky, unsteady and the sounds were crispier. MW22 just feels like ... idk, ballooney?

idk man but the fennec reload in mw2019 gets me so good. like u could hear the plasticky material when the operator is handling the gun
if it aint broke, dont fix it.
unluckily they had a perfect sound design and broke it.
Yeah, you are so right on this one.
Only the OGS remember how broken the 725 was in MW2019.
One reason I never used it. I preferred the pump or the Beneli m4
All my sawed off 725 search and destroy players represent!!! 😎
You could also be talking about the beginning when it was legit overpowered to the max
Real OGs remember the Duel wield 1887s from the OG mw2
I really thought they would have continued with mw19 design philosophy and change things here and there for improvement but no, it’s just a massive step back in almost every way. From the movement, graphics, and simple gameplay mechanics they screwed up. It’s not bad per say it’s just not mw19 good. Mw19 was such a good step in the right direction.
Is it just me or do 99% of the weapons that carried over look and sound worse in the new game? Lmao.
The downgrade is insane and i didn't really see anybody talking about it
Yes..but the AK and M4 series riflies look better in this game than mw19....the rest look worse in MWII
@@chargedx5768The M4 looks like absolute trash. Cheap looking generic AR-15
@@TheLast0fUsNo point in criticizing a blown out of proportion thing.
@@TheLast0fUsUnfortunately, just like with level-up soundtracks, voice announcers, and background tracks for added ambience, the casual CoD fan never seems to care about these minute details, at least when it comes to sound design. Or, rather, they will but won't know how to describe their grievances. 😂 Just like if the modern, polished gun animations were downgraded significantly, as we saw in Cold War, the average player would _know_ something is off. They just wouldn't be able to pinpoint why. That, or...again...they just don't care. 😂
Aug, Kriss Vector, M14 has also "slide release button" but CoD animators don't use it and this really disturbs me. As for the HK series (MP5, G3, HK33), you don't have to lock back the charging handle and slap; you can just pull and release if you want to fast reload. They also works like that.
CoD animators do use it.
Aug slide release: ua-cam.com/video/WumjmiByfVY/v-deo.html
M14 slide release: ua-cam.com/video/WumjmiByfVY/v-deo.html
They use the bolt catch/release, it is reserved for the Fast Hands / Sleight-of-Hand perks to emulate proficiency with the weapon system
You guys mean the _BOLT_ release, right?
they usually preserve it to the "Sleight of hand" or "Fast hand" perks to use them. But for the HK tho, its more realistic and practical to lock the charging handle first rather than doing it later. HK series tends to jam and break if they do it later
None of us care about any of this lmfao
MWII has such a bland lighting, it may have more vibrant colors but it's all so washed with way too little contrast and has obviously overdone color filters on some maps like for example Farm 18 which has this green color filter which makes it look so cheap.
MW19 is artistically a better looking game even if it came 3 years before MWII.
MW sound and weight with MW2 movement and animations would have been peak gunplay in COD
Was thinking the guy by the water was the MW2 footage up until 3:10💀
Not only do the character arm and hand animations look better in MW19, but the guns themselves look like they are actually made of metal and sound right to me. MW2 as a whole looks very artificial from it's guns looking like cheap plastic, or them sounding very off, then the graphics themselves of the whole game in comparison looks very cheap, but that's another can of worms.
I prefer how they hold the guns in MW2019 as well. It’s a shame I skipped that cod and was forced to play 2022
I swear the MW2 hipfire looks like the gun comes to life mid dump
To me the only thing they improved on is reload animations, but everything else is such a downgrade. They really overtuned the recoil too, for powerful weapons like the AK I kinda get but when the supposed super soldier is struggling badly to keep an MP5 under control when you can watch a video of an everyday Joe at the firing range control it perfectly is just baffling. MW2019 got the recoil for guns perfectly - enough oomph to feel powerful but still very controllable to get a good feel for the weapon.
Yeah,I’m having to Waste Most of my attachment slots on Foregrips and Weird stocks
Exactly, mw2019's weapon feeling is unbeatable when it comes to a call of duty game, and most shooters
I feel like mw2 reload animations are too all over the place and unrealistic. There's a lot of unnecessary bounciness, and overall I don't think the mw2 reloads can compare to mw19 reloads
The only downgrades in my opinion are The m13 and the pp-19

the M4A1 in MW2019 is not a colt 993, the parts and the hand grip with and the barrel resembles the parts of a MK18
The gun actually has a 14.5" barrel so it should be a M4A1 SOPMOD BLOCK II
@@emiliorosales9196 no it's not near a M4A1 SOPMOD BLOCK II unless you are talking about the uppereceiver but the barrel is no wear near the MK18 but if you search up MK18 and compare it to the M4A1 in MW2019 it is literally the most identical shit I see
@@_CosmicEnd_ M4A1 SOPMOD BLOCK II and MK18 are pretty the same the difference is the barrel length and mw2019 has the length of a M4A1 SOPMOD BLOCK II
@@_CosmicEnd_ you can check in game 2 barrel options ( 11.5" and 14.5") and you can see how the 11.5 " shortens the barrel and handguard a lot so the MK18 is not in game but it could be converted with that barrel as a CQBR BLOCK 2 but the in-game M4A1 with no attachments is a M4A1 SOPMOD BLOCK II

Although the M4A1 in the game MW2 has a barrel exactly that fits like a MK18 due the barrel length and handguard, ngl but I miss the M4A1 SOPMOD BLOCK II conversion
Bizon reload in mw19 is so satisfying
I love how they nailed the sound of the M14 in both.
I genuinely thought up until the marksman rifles and snipers that it was MW 2019 first then MWII
The 2 games trade blows for me in terms of sound design. Also I only just now realized that we got all of the same launchers from MW2019 to MW2
The M4 in MW II is custom ar with URGI handguard.
mw2019 sounds are just too iconic
I miss when shooting in CoD didn't cause a magnitude 9 earthquake to happen on my screen
A 115 opening sence type of earthquake
The aug 9mm isn't called Steyr Aug a3 9mm xs
It's Steyr Aug PARA 9mm
MW2019 was a masterpiece. MWII was a shallow copy-paste.
The m4 from 2019 isn't the 933, its a sopmod with a daniel defence handguard.
The SPR in MW2 looks and sounds like an airsoft gun compared to MW19 😂😂😂 5:35
The rpg reload was so much quicker 😭
Well I’m glad the AK-47 wasn’t copy righted lol
What map is used when showcasing the modern warfare 2019 guns?
maybe shipment?
I miss the scar h animations from mw 2019
? This scar is wayyyyyyy better, the mw2019 one is just stronger in damage
The colt m901 is an m16a4 which is chambered in .223, not .308
Honestly both games have been a treat to play for me simply due to the feel of the weapons and animations, I like them both for different reasons. My main complaint is just that in MW2 the MP5 and P90 aren’t really that classic design, especially the P90. Almost a completely different gun.
The RAAL seems to be the only gun that benefited from the sound change. From sounding loud but ugly to sounding like a beefcake of a gun.
Going back to 2019. Really wish we still had verdansk.
that AK-47 sounds brutal 😮
0:39 that's not a P890??
Look at what they did to the Bizon TnT
I like how mw2019 sound is more tactical than mw2
“More tactical sound” what???????
So what makes the M16 a CM901? Just looking at it, it shares nothing in common with 901. The most notable is how the lower receiver of the M16 is still the standard one seen in all M4/M16 rifles, where as the 901 has a longer pointed design so it can accept different mag sizes (5.56/7.62)
I don't really know actually, I mostly use the imfdb site for weapon names.
@@boxgunsdude you can see the m16 in mw22 inspect weapon it told it a m16 rifle series mate

there’s no way the 14 jumped like that in 2019 i refuse to believe i am reinstalling now 🤣🤣🤣
I think both has great sound design, however I feel like mw2019’s are a bit dry compared to mw2’s.
As Krusty the Klown from “The simpsons” once said,
You sir are an Idiot
I’d take COD ghosts Sound Design over MW2022s
Certain guns like the mw19 ak sound better but yes I agree with this

I love 2019, its still my favourite even compared mw3
i didnt know the the basilisk was the p890🤨
Also the M16 is just an M16A4
too much camera shake at this point.
The AUG, MP5, M14 and the MCX have better models in mw2019 and this is just personal preference but I like the mk18 more then the URGI in mw22
Mw guns Sound so much more like Real guns mw2 guns Sound like airsoft gbb guns
The revolver is not a P890, just wanted to point out
0:35 that isn’t a P890 that Balisk
3:10 the M4 in this game isn't and actual M4, it's a modified AR-15

Mw19 sounded and looked way better in my opinion like the lighting was good as way in mw2 and mw3 beta so far everything feel colorless like I shouldn’t have to put a filter to make the game look good
Wait why does mw2019 look and sound better? If I didn't play these games I'd say that 2019 came out last
MW19>MWII
Why did they have to go and mess up the shadows for mw2 they look so goofy compared to 2019
3:20 that ain't a colt 993, that's for sure
Mw2019 weapon sounds are muffled.
Mw2019 ftw all day.
Can’t be the only one who thinks all the guns look way better in mw19
4:51 how is this one is a SBR but not Mw2
Because the barrel is slightly shorter than what is in MW2, as SBRs are considered anything under 16 inches I believe. In other words, it's a gun nerd thing, in reality there's very little difference.
The revolver’s name is wrong
MP5 and M4 looked wayyy better in MW2019.
Those launchers are unrealistic in both games and in modt others. They are always depicted as having a lot of recoil, but its very much the opposite. These launchers should have no recoil at all and the the only way the launcher would move when shot is from the reflexes of the user. Or if youre really stupid, pointing the back end straight at the ground and the backblast pushing you away from the ground.
Mp5 mw 2019❤
mw2 has a realistic recoil
MW2 feels more cartoony for me
It doesn't feel like too fair of a comparison when you're using this wide open expanse for MW19, and then the claustrophobic highway of Santa Sena in MW2. The sounds do accurately bounce off of everything, this is something that IW has gloated about time and time again. it just feels a big cheap to cheat MW2 out of even having a chance to compare in that regard.
MW2019 has better sound effect compared to MW2 2022.

Look how they massacred my boy...
Im sorry, does that barrel look like 11.5/10.5in? That's not a 933. It's just an M4A1. Also, the M16A4 is clearly not a CM901.
@@TeenTitansIsGarbage They're the same group that thinks the Razorback is mostly a fucking VHS-2. No. MSBS bullpup configuration. Also, evidently, they're so stupid that they don't understand the importance of barrel length being the main distinguishing feature amongst the AR platform. It is NOT a 933. Fuck the source.
@@UA-camViolates1A
The Colt Model 933 appears, inaccurately referred to as the longer-barreled M4A1. By default, it is equipped with a black Daniel Defense Mk18 RIS II handguard (although the bottom two screws are mounted from the back to front like the other four screws, whereas on the real handguard they are mounted from front to back), Knight's Armament Company Micro sights, VLTOR BCM Gunfighter Mod 3 charging handle and Magpul ASAP ambidextrous sling mount. Similarly to the Modern Warfare 2 M4A1, the in-game rifle has some parts tan and the rest black. The base Model 933 in-game has a tan NSWC Crane SOPMOD Block II buttstock (not a B5 enhanced because it lacks QD sling cups), tan A2 pistol grip, tan Magpul Gen 3 windowed PMAG, a single tan KAC rail cover on the right side of the weapon's handguard and partially tan KAC sights.

MW2’s sounds are more realistic, but MW2019’s sounds go for a “heavier” feel.
Small indie dev can’t afford licensing rights
MWII feels plastic to me because it doesnt have slide cancelling. MW2019 have slide cancelling.
Same shit, other colors, nice vid
Most of the MW2019 weapon designs are better and closer to their real-life counter part compared to MWII tbh. MWII feels and looks like a downgrade.
