Looking really good Keith! That interior looks unbelievable. I always thought that PS logo was painted😁 You completely knocked it out of the box. Great overview👍👍
Awesome rigs I just got the founder II and yeah came in about a day and a half two days at the most unbelievable service the truck is Off the hook big shout out to Asia teas traction hobbies!! And back to your rig the paint job is awesome and really looks nice love your attention to detail👍👍
I think 8th scale wheels better than 10th scale. That jeep is a beast. Love the new truck. Change out the plastic part for alloy and some brass.mabey a shock upgrade. She will be ready for the rocks.
Did they offer free shipping when you got yours not sure if it’s due to the virus outbreak right now wallet but I was going to order a founders edition yesterday and shipping was almost 100 bucks put this a little out of my price range
Great review and body looks awesome. I am looking into buying the Founder but now they releasing the Founder 2 and it looks to be based on cragsman C plus it will have portal axles. I am very tempted to get the Founder 1 due to the carbon fibre chassi and the battery placement but maybe founder 2 will be my pick, I cant decide :) maybe you can help me. Should I get Founder 1 with carbon fibre all alloy or go for Founder 2 which based on Cragsman C but has portals ?
I hear you! It’s unknown what the Founder 2 will actually be. Hopefully it will remain a single speed fully upgraded option like the Founder 1. Especially since they offer the Cragsman as an alternative.
@@krlaturn Founder 2 will ship next week in China with either Black or Clear body both versions will have 3s ESC and 27 T motor with 6 channel receiver high/low, 2wd/4wd, lock front diff, lock rear diff, plus it will have portals with brass weights.
Looks good and great eye for detail. Just curious about running an esc of a Y splitter. Are you saying the radio switch will change something about the esc function?
DanP RC • Build it - Paint it - Drive it the splitter is for running the shifting servos at 6v and running the steering servo at 7.4v because I ran a high voltage servo. If you plan to run your steering servo at 6v (same as shift servos) disregard the splitter info👍🏻
Bulletproof RC Ok I think I got that part. You mentioned the Holmes bypass for that. I thought you mentioned something about the esc and the 2 speed trans being on a splitter.
DanP RC • Build it - Paint it - Drive it oh lol I was rambling about why I didn’t use my castle Mamba x and the Rock Racer/crawler auxiliary switch. You can disregard
Def Def LoL.. my apologies that my RC toy truck story was so boring. But maybe you can give me some pointers. Oh wait you only have 69 subs. Oh well I guess you don’t really have anything to teach. Jk
Great job on the body!!! Are you happy with the Axe? How’s the top speed compared to stock? I’m torn between the axe and HH puller pro with the mamba x...I wish the axe higher kv would release already lol
I’m pretty happy with the AXE on 3s with a 16t pinion. Plenty of grunt on the low end and nice wheel speed. Much faster than the stock electronics. But yeah you can’t go wrong with a puller Pro and mamba x either. I failed to mention the reason I chose the AXE was because it has a drag brake delay option that automatically turns down the drag brake when the motor is at a high rpm. It’s a nice feature that keeps you from ripping out the tranny at high speeds. It’s also has a stronger drag brake on the rocks compared to my mamba x. I run a Mamba in all my other crawlers. I use the auxiliary switch to turn the drag brake on/off with my mamba. But like I mentioned there is not a spare channel in the Cragsman C. Thx 4 watching and the compliment on the body👍🏼
Thanks for the information kind Sir!!! I’ve sheared a driveshaft pin from 2cnd gear 2wd slides so hopefully it was engineered that way lol So higher top end bumping up from the stock 14t pinion without loss of low end in first is something I was curious about. I like the 1st/neutral/2cnd 3way switch but like you said kills the drag break switching on the mamba x I’m running the 2.2 hirax which are much taller than stock so I installed 130mm proline shocks to keep them from rubbing which led to lowering the servo and pan hard 1/2” to keep the geometry right. I added 1/2” offsets to the wheels and the higher cg is negligible. Again thank you for the information it helps me a lot given this truck is so new to the market...
@@krlaturn OK, I'm thinking of getting one as a trail rig, main concern is quality, see a ton of good reviews but value yours as you seem to suffer the same RC OCD I do 😁
@@jameslyons1978 hey thanks for the confidence brother! I’ve owned the Traction Hobby founder and Cragsman. I was impressed with the quality of both. The Founder is all aluminum and carbon fiber and bulletproof! The Cragsman is like an oversized TRX4 with aluminum axles. It’s really tough as well. Never broke anything on either rig!

Hey bud looking darn good love the new rig 👍🏼👍🏼

Longtime with no upload. That’s a nice looking rig! Sick!
Yes been super busy. I appreciate you watching and commenting my friend
Nice truck but did I see it on eBay a while ago ? If so why did you get rid of it? I am
Looking at getting one
Polish Picker yes I sold it. No problems with it, just got more into 1.9 comp rigs
Looks good
Thanks my friend
The want is strong....
I ordered one but they're a joke asking for pics of my credit card. Maybe I'll get one when they come to the states.
These rigs look awesome where can I get one of these
I purchased mine from Asiatees
Are you still making LED lights for it?
How do I get the interior for the Cragsman C and replacement bodies?
Very impressive bro
Thanks man
wow look nice
Thanks 👍🏼

I see. Details have been scarce on the Founder 2 details. Sounds like the Founder 2 will just be a Cragsman with portals.
hows the wheelspeed with that axe system in it? is it fast on 3s? Thats a 2300Kv right?
MadScientist the axe system isn’t as peppy as a castle Mamba x system. But it’s decent! Plenty of power and smooth

Bulletproof RC lol gotcha!
I tried to buy one but they they said they didn’t have any and never emailed me on it. Why do they make it hard to buy one?

How does this rig perform mate?
It was a great rig! But the 1/8 scale 2.2 class never caught on in the states so I eventually got bored and sold it

Amazing... u want to sell? :)
how is the 540 motor handling the weight?
Pretty good! The motor doesn’t even get slightly warm on 3s with stock pinion.
@@krlaturn nice I have the original cragsman and sort of thinking of getting a castle combo but not sure it it would handle the weight well 🤔
