All these 'women' in this book are so much trouble. Sending other pregnant women off to die in the desert, teaching their sons to deceive their fathers and rob their brothers, and worse. The distinction between the two names given - Jacob and Israel... are used to show those who are yet struggling and those who honor their words, give them as truth, and thus honor the Lord, as then He is served with their hearts AND their lips.
