I love when artist do different stuff like this, shows they're not just a rapper. They're a true artist. Rappers are arguably the best lyricist in the music industry. Nice to see them use their talent in other forms.

My dad served 22 years in the army and was over in Iraq from 2007 - 2009 every single day my family and I always worried about him, we would skype whenever we could. I will never forget the feeling of relief when that plane came into the hanger and seeing him walk up to us. Many families that were there weren't as fortunate as us, and I was a child so I didn't fully understand that at the time. Thinking back on that now it absolutely breaks my heart. I have nothing but respect for those who have the balls to put their lives on the line for our country. Happy Veterans Day y'all

I was already very fond of Tom after following his music for years, but this song (along with Withdrawals and Ghosts) made me respect and admire the man so much more. This is going to be a timeless song.
Tom respects the veterans and the fact he dropped this on Veteran's Day makes it more impactful which you stated. Hey man, glad to see you back at it and glad you are going in a better direction mentally. This song was heavy a little short too but glad to see Tom stepping out of the usual rap box and try something and thanks for putting this out. Thank your family for serving, I know the feeling all 3 grandpas (One step), grandma's brother, and 3 of my cousins all went too.
As a veteran this song really hit me . Its always weird for me around this veterans day thing. Everyone says thank you but i did it because i wanted to make sure my kids and the country would be safe . My non military friends and family always wants stories from war cus i was combat veteran and i just refuse to speak about it 😢

I've thought about it and I think people that love to watch reactions of their favorite artists (Including Me) are looking for Validation. They want to see others agreeing and enjoying what we enjoy. I think he'll be jealous and afraid of Tom. Remember, Crypt has dissed Tom on UA-cam Cypher 2, favored his friend Mac Lethal in the disstrack season, and has heavily backed rappers who've dissed Tom MacDonald such as Quadeca and Score Face Jean who both were on UA-cam Cypher 2. Crypt then responded to Tom's No Response track twice, one a couple years ago, and one a month-is ago. To be honest, Crypt has regressed in ability, especially if you go listen to that song. Then, you'll understand why Crypt hasn't reacted to Tom's music.
I have been watching your reactions for a few years now. Always respect your opinion (whether I agree or not). It’s your opinion. Not every song is going to hit everyone the same…and that’s ok. I am enjoying this more mellow, unplugged vibe from Tom. Don’t know that I would like a whole album of this, but a few songs here and there are really nice. Glad you are getting to a better place. I actually appreciate that you're honest about the songs you like & the ones you don't. There are so many reaction channels who just say, "fire!" to anything & every artist. It comes across as very lame & not at all genuine. We're not supposed to like every song we hear by any artist. This song breaks genres on the lists and minds. If it didn't also go against the establishment you could hear this on the radio. Being a Vet this hits hard.
I feel like people will always hate even if it's a good reaction. But that's why we follow you, or that's why I follow you. To hear your opinion on music and your break downs on the different topics. I've been watching Crypt for years and I've dipped my toes in music production and the whole artist thing and it wasn't my thing but Crypt's videos still helped me develop an ear for listening for the good and bad in music. After trying to do the music thing and struggling with it for a few years I've come to realize how hard it is with the sheer amount of factors that go into making good music. The sound quality, loudness, bars, flows, punchlines, rhythm , pacing and even reactions or the reply you'll get in the comments. Which brings me to why I'm writing this comment: as a creator or an artist, having an opinion publicly is so hard with a social landscape this volatile. Like critiquing a song even positively could be considered controversial. It just gets to a point where we wonder what we're doing when putting yourself out there can lead to some sort of backlash. The only answer I can find is bridging that gap between doubt and confidence in our opinions/content is just coming full circle. The reason you react or create is to voice your opinion singularly to find like minded people to conversation with those who disagree. I know this sounds like rambling lol but really, if what you're talking about toward the end of the video is anything like how I've felt before taking a break, that means the solution is really weird because it is it'self.
I hope that makes sense but if not, when you react I'm here for it lol.
