This brand will change the world of sneakers !
This is a very awesome idea 😊🎉❤
Will you provide training and franchise here at Vaniyambadi ambur. Tirupattur district famous for tannery Tamilnadu
Is it harmful for skin due to plastic 🧐
Also they're super expensive - starting at 8k. Maybe the targetted audience is upper middle class / rich people who want to buy eco friendly stuff
Im from Philippines how to order?
Amazing
Please make your shoes rate at 2000 rs so that many people can afford them
The cost should have been around 3-4K rupees .
I really do like the idea, but price range is almost same as basic Nike model...
@@themasteryiboy3228 yeah.. but this is 100% recycled .. Nike and Adidas parley shoes are only either50% or 75% recycled ones .
I love the initiative, love the idea of this brand that Ashay is creating.
Only feedback I see is, the cost of shoes are too high for any indian middle class buyer.
They are marketed in such a way that only upper middle class/ sneaker heads can get it. Also recently they started a marketing campaign where you would get a exclusive shoes with ceo autograph. I dont get the point why a good initiative are targeted for upper middle class or marketed in a weird way.
It is not accessible for normal person to go any support the initiative.
I would understand that they are handmade and not in bulk thats why the price may be high. But they are marketing similar to Hublot watches where price is marketed as feature.
Initiative is good when its accessible and it serves purpose faster. When the initiative isnt, it isnt a priority for third world anymore.
I may be wrong, but it is my opinion and would like to understand if my thinking is wrong.
Hi Ajay
I get your point. I thought the same way. But after reflecting I wondered, what’s wrong anyway if it is attracting certain class with the cost . It’s better off if sold in market out of India. If he looks at business perspective as well. And labour cost is high if you look at from rag picker to bags washer, bags presser, shoe stitcher, assembler and many more manual work this is. If production goes high, he might be able to get the cost down. I think demand supply will make it worth
This is what i thought 7k for them is too costly
They outsource trash picking and manufacturing to other companies, they don’t do a lot of things in-house. That racks up the costs.
That's amazing, great to see innovations from young people 👏

For 7k i can buy a puma or nike shoe which can last for 5 years
I checked the website and found the price of these shoes as 8000+
It's price shouldn't be more than 800.
I would rather buy branded shoes
I used to saw the teenager to 30 age group masses consuming these types of sneakers, never thought that 23 year boy can do it.
Hats off to this priceless assets of nation, society and nature.
👍
Shoes are made of recycled materials and it costs for ₹7000, I am supporting this startup but when you are making products like this, Make them affordable for at least lower middle class. Do not think that, if you can afford it, then everyone can afford it for the sake of environment.
What you said is so true, and for poor country like India it is dire need to make them available at cheap prices otherwise whats point of sellimg them here in india and this won't give any option to not to go for NIKE and Sketchers, btw Sketchers shoes are sold for 3500/- during last month sale.😊
Bro forget Nike and sketchers it's hard for most people to spend just 1000 for shoes
This is the beginning of innovation and it will be expensive. Soon as technology is improved the cost will come down and the product can become more mainstream. Don't forget it took us almost 50 years for electric cars to become economically viable against petrol/diesal.
@@firehawk895 bro the cost goes down if they want to otherwise it won't as they may just want to turn into a luxury brand.
Also we don't really know the cost of making those shoes.
@@eddieguerrero6603 it is totally possible they turn it into a luxury brand. However as the market forces will kick in, companies will create mid tier brands, and low tier brands as well. So it won't matter what they decide.
It's also true that we don't know how they are exactly made. However it's easy to conclude that collecting and processing recyclable materials is costlier than the standard supply chain of raw materials of traditional shoes - since it's readily available and cheap.
Iam a college student and I'll say that It's expensive (7.5k Rs).... But also kinda good
So...yes I wanna buy them but i can't cuz it will affect my other expenses..... So maybe in future sometime 👍
Maybe the price can be lowered a little bit so that many middle class people can buy...Cuz everyone likes Sneakers but not everyone can afford... Otherwise...It's really cool and appreciated
Great Job! Happy to see how plastic is being used here.
Bhai price sahi kar do,khoob bikega
DO NOT BUY! Terrible fit (very skinny) and don’t except returns!! Awful business and customer service

I support them and I hope they become big one day but just that me being a middle class I would buy the shoes if it's price range was between 2.5k-4k. I would not spend 7+ for these shoe. I hope in the future it happens.Good luck 🤞
what currency are you talking about?
@@theovertaker40 indian rupee
👀 same hope in future they decrese there sneaker price.
@@NerdHerd_07 be hard to and keep making it by hand. But they may have to move to more factory level stuff if demands goes up
Yep shoes made from plastic how much will they cost
:7k 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
too much
@@udayv2683 yep I checked on their website
7k is not a bad amount considering all the work that goes into making this, the recycling process and all the workers that have to be fairly paid. Especially since it’s a small brand still starting out, they need the money to keep making the shoes. :-)
@@Eileenkl95 don't u think it is way to much and the average indian will never buy one, being eco friendly is one thing and being practical is another.
@@areaf2219 Hopefully the business grows and can scale up, eventually making the shoes cheaper and more affordable :)
Hi, Thaely! I wholeheartedly appreciate what you're doing. You're doing your bit to make world a better place to live. You're contribution to the nature is immense.
I just watched your video on Business Insider. I'm really amazed by your work. I'm so tempted to buy a pair myself. May I know the price in rupees? Is it available on Amazon yet?!
Amazing. I went to see the prices. USD99 for the cheapest sneaker model. While you may have your reasons for that asking price, the monetary incentive for going green is totally not there for the typical potential customer. You’ve also provided jobs in India but we all know how much their salary bases are.
I love how you use recycled materials and also I like your design. I wanted to buy this shoes. How can I buy this shoes?
Ryan from Philippines.
Check the description box for their website address!
I love it!!! But will this expose me to more micro plastics than wearing sneakers made of traditional materials? I mostly wear Adidas running shoes
Wow
The price is a turn off but hopefully they will bring other ranges
I appreciate you brother and your company. Where to buy this online?
I'm from the Philippines.
Thaely shoes purchase kha sa kara
Pleaee keep going and save the world from this plastic in ray of hope 🙏🏻
Old plastic ko use kar raha hai tab etne mahge bech raha hai kahi new plastic uses karta tab to ghar beek jayega esko kharidne me 😂
Bhai 5999 ka shoe, 5999 aur mila ke nike ke sneakers na kharid lun kum se kum saal bhr baad hype badegi to 15000 ka to bhechne ki umeed to rakh sakta hin
Recycling is a good thing but Wondering if it makes sense in the "energy & resource balance"!
Is this is the official UA-cam channel? I wish the shoes were cheaper. It's too expensive man. If it was around 4k-5k then I would have been able to consider it but 8k is excessive.
$100 ? No thanks.
Wowww what an amazing idea!!
Just a curiosity ... What's its life ?
I ordered thaely shoe order but when I was canceled my pre-order when I now not money back policy 😑
I love these shoes so much but for 7-8k I'll go for nike af1.
It looks like a whole clothing line could be made shirts and shoes🎽🩰
Amazing! Saving our environment, keeping supply costs down, and everything is handmade like in the old days. That's quality and workmanship to be proud of.
It's not a solution, just one state to another state , not the end of plastic.
Don't just do it, DO IT RIGHT! LOVE IT

Just look its price 😂
What is the ratio which we will get while returning for recycling?
What an idea 💡 keep it up 👍🏻 bro

So awesome. I definitely want to get a pair once I have some money haha!
Keep up the Good Work. God Bless You and Your Entire Team
This great 😃😃😃
How I buy the shoes ?
the government should nationalize this technology. a low tech sustainable solution to our plastic waste problem! props Akshay. Well done!!
Iove your products ❤️❤️
Keep it up 😜
Why only white ?
500
My guy just say
Dont just do it
Do it ✔ right
This is amazing man! Great work!!
Congratulations on rolling out a great product made out of plastic bags we all carelessly use. One mans waste is another mans 🤣.....shoes... I guess in this case. On that note, did it ever cross your mind, someone wearing a 100$ sneaker made outta used plastic bags how much good does it amounts to in this world when the person collecting all those plastic bags is still walking barefoot. Dont just do it, do it right. Once again congratulations on rolling out a great product.
$100 for these, I found about these shoes a few days back. Yes kudos to the innovation but these are expensive sneakers as per Indian standards. 100 dollars is 7500/- you can get a really mid range adidas at this point or even an adidas boost at their yearly sale where they give 30-40% off.
Happy to see that our community is working for sustainability,, Good Job, Keep it up.
I really liked these shoes, i liked the idea of making the shoes through recycling. They are expensive😑
Nice
Cost would be reasonable for middle class people in India ..price is High to buy college students Nd every one ...so think about it
Wow
when im going to the website, its directly asking for a password and i dont see any register button, whats up?
Nice bro
That's amazing
I want to contact you,
I have a big amount of used or waste plastic bags And wanted to contribute
Hearty congratulations to you for creating Thaely think it's actually converting waste to wealth!! Just a suggestion for you, please ensure that the persons,(I saw mostly women) who segregate and clean the plastic bags wear gloves to protect themselves as they do this good job. Thanks
Congratulations for support from Anand Mahindra sir...!!
good work bro keep going
too good man !!! love nd support from whole India "MADE IN INDIA "
Just got them! They are sooo good!! :)
Simply amazing
Great initiative 👏 keep it up...
What is the price
Will it melt in summer
Yes, in Indian heat the shoes will melt and stick itself to the road to fill up any damage on the road. That is how the founder has though of fixing bad road conditions in India.
@@sanghipranit it will took him long time to fill the moon creaters 😂😂😂😂
@@Dr.wierdo well i guess the founder's general idea here is that as there are approximately over a billion pieces of trash plastic bottles and similar of plastic bags. He'd have no shortage of raw materials for those holes.
@@sanghipranit 😂😂
