That's the thing I appreciate about Korean guys. They have this genuinely caring oppa-ish, looking out for the younger person, but in a non creepy way when they are with younger girls. I was solo backpacking in Thailand, ended up at a Korean run hostel by chance and met a bunch of Korean guys & girls from Korea who were there for diving. I am half Korean and half Malaysian Chinese, born and raised in Malaysia (can't speak Korean), so meeting random Korean Oppas is not as common as in the States. Anyway, back to the Thailand story, the group invited me to Noraebang and it feels like they were old friends and not strangers who had met a hostel (lotsa jeon), the next day one of them brought me around on a short trip on his rented motorcycle and then got me Thai porridge for breakfast. We didn't say much as he didn't speak English and he was 1 generation older than me, like you guys and Evelyn. The whole experience was so wholesome ☺ Actually, Jason kinda reminds me of him!

I did not expect this collab but loved it! I think it's important to have friends who are older than you because their insight and experience is valuable advice. When I entered college, I started having friends who were a few years older or even post grad who were like my older brothers or sisters and they took care of me and gave me advice. It's definitely something special to have friends of all stages of life because you can either have someone to depend on for life advice or if they're younger you can share that wisdom to them. always welcome a different perspective no matter what age, I've definitely seen the value in it.

It will be great if parents gave their children advice on everything including dating, cuz that shows how close they are and it makes the relationship between them and their children, relaxed, comfortable,reliable and friendly especially as the kids watch their parents even though it may not look like that however, the parents relationship affects their children somehow especially how they see relationships
That’s so cool I’m 23 and my niece is 5 years younger than me and is giving me relationship/ life advice xD. My sisters (who are older) and my cousins all taught me how to party and what to expect when dating etc. Also personality will triumph over looks all the time, no one wants to date someone with bad energy

In start up I actually preferred Kim Seon-ho! His character was the best in my opinion but I also usually prefer the second leads.

I’m similar to Evelyn, I would choose someone like Jason. Looks are nice to look at but I value personality, character, stature, etc so I would need more than just looks.
It’s so good to have people older than you give you a new perspective. I’m the youngest on both sides of my family so I normally have friends older than me which helps a lot. Even though I’m 25, I still feel like a kid sometimes 😂

Apparently, I read somewhere it’s best not to have meals for first dates because it can add awkwardness sitting across from each other as strangers and there’s a higher possibility of you not being able to show your best self. Something where you can be side by side is more advisable such as sitting at the front bar of a restaurant or playing pool or smthg in order to ensure more closeness if you wish to do so :)
