For God to change a person, He places a mirror before them. But when He places a man before a mirror, He doesn't do so to show a man what that is(ie flaws and weaknesses) but He shows him the glory of God. This is because there's nothing redeeming about understanding our fallen nature. So God places a man before a mirror so that the man beholds God's glory and be metamorphosed into that very glory 😊🤗
2 Corinthians 3:18 And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.

The Enemy will most likely use the destructive words through the husband or absence of Affirmation to destroy the wife.
The Enemy will most likely attack the wife's perception. How she sees the husband, once she does not believe in him, she becomes the limiting reagent.
