The Fever's win against the Dream last night solidifies that Clark, Mitchell, Hull, Fagbenle, and Boston need to start & close games. That lineup has the best balance of offense, defense, rebounding, ball movement, energy, and hustle.

Closing? Sure, I agree. Starting is different. At some point anyone has to get a rest. Specially Temi. AND if I have a chance, I take Smith with CC AND KM AND AB AND LH at the start of both halfs, compared to bench minutes with Samulson or Wheeler on the court with her.

@@neneodonkor Smith, and Dantas, but to rest Boston, and Temi. Wheeler should be used to "rest" Clark. To your point, the team is not "deep" enough to play around with the starters. But there is a player on the bench who should get minutes and that is Grace Berger. She came on against the Sky during garbage time, but the game was already over.

You should check Lexi Hull stats at college she was an amazing Hooper along with her sister I think the coach of the Fever has favorites and sabotages certain players one player got cut early in the year who should be on this team right now. Caitlin Clark is just too overpowering and incredible of a player and you can only do so much to sabotage her because she is unshakable she is granite with resolve and you're not going to make her quit she's just going to get stronger and it is affecting the other players it is contagious winning is contagious same as losing is contagious. If coach sides puts her ego aside I really think this team can win a championship this year but certain players have to quit wanting to be bullyball heroes One minute and then go along with the plan the next up and down up and down it's going to be Exciting I just hope they do not get one certain team first in the playoffs because bye bye

Both teams played their butts off for this game. Atlanta won more battles but in the end Indiana won the war. It was definitely a fun game to watch and I was rooting for both sides equally. I think Atlanta blew it in the end by forcing the fouls on a free throw shooter that rarely misses. They had the game in their favor more than Indiana. Definitely a learning experience to grow from with this one for the Fever and they pulled through to the bitter in end in OT.
The biggest thing I have noticed when teams play the Fever, they play better than their stats would suggest. They don't play CC as if she is a rookie, they play her as if she is an MVP. The other teams always bring the heat which makes the Fever work that much harder for the win and rarely do they get easy wins. This one certainly wasn't easy. Respect to Atlanta for playing some good ball and respect to Indiana for not giving up and taking the win. The more pressure they get the better they have to play which is great training before the playoffs.

The Atlanta team plays us tough. They have many good players. They are better than their record would indicate. The Fever is slowly learning to play with poise. They can only learn how to do that by gaining confidence and winning tough games like this one.

But, as you must hear all the time, Caitlan needs to grow up. She does so much "right" as a human being and a player, but also things not so right. The moodiness during the game, at times after the game, the hysterics aimed at officials (justified or not) etc. It is more a game of controlling emotions, than counting on emotions to win for you. If she learns to control her emotions on the court, she will cut her turnovers in half and be a much more effective team leader. But what a great talent, and a courageous player.

There are already people out there, lamenting, they should have dominated, it was an ugly win and now they're doomed for the playoffs, BUT...
If you never learned to overcome adversity and eke out a win in any way possible, you won't make it very far.
from my own experience in sports, I found out that no furious blow-out win, gives the satisfaction of a grind-it-out 1-point win.
Breezing through dominant wins, often ends in complacency - not good in a pressure situation, when it's 'win or go home'.

Also, I want the ball in CC's hands drawing the double & feeding Boston on the pick & roll or on the block. Don't understand Side's offense with all the bigs on the perimeter. Boston needs to go hard to the bucket & take it up strong. Too much dribbling in the lane & getting P ushed under the bucket. Boston should dominate every game withh CC feeding her.

I have to admit, I kinda gave up when Atlanta's lead became 16 with 6:48 left in the third quarter, and the team not really clicking on all fronts..then Sides made the best decision she's ever made this season, take Smith out and replaced her with Temi, and just like that the team's energy turned..a bucket here, some stops here, another bucket here, and before I knew it the lead was chopped down to 5. Then, Sides made her second best decision, she kept the same five players on the floor and just let them do what they do best. Between regular and overtime period, you can sense the difference with these five players..as they walked from the bench to center court for an overtime tip off, they were talking to each other, with smile on their faces and some laughter..I knew already, this game was won. Hopefully, Sides will stick to these same five going forward..don't fix what ain't broke//

What is what the young Fever needs the most? EXPERIENCE! This provides them with experience on how to win when it seems that you are going to loose! When you experience comebacks, then in the future you remember what you already did in the past to have another comeback! The Gever were given a great opportunity to learn and develop needed experience for the future! God trains us the same way but most of us are too busy whining instead of learning to gain needed experience for the future challenges coming our way; inevitably so. We live in a fallen world and bad things are right around the corner! When you know what to do, you’re not overwhelmed and focus on doing what needs to be done to get the desired outcome! Too many times we simply give up.
