Buzzfeed must pay well. If she eats one $10 usd meal a day that equals roughly $300 not including the delivery price. If she eats two fast food meals a day that roughly $600 of food a month. If she buys a little bit more expensive food at the price of $15 per meal for twice a day in a 30 day month that's $900. Assuming she eats two meals a day at multiple price points her "grocery" bill should roughly be around $710 not including snacks or days that buzzfeed provid. This is assuming she pays for two of her meals each day, this is just a rough estimate.

So the thing with cooking and cleaning is, if you clean while you cook, you are not left with a very big tiring mess to clean up. There are always these pockets of time while waiting for stuff to simmer or brown, you can do a quick wash up inbetween. I always make sure by the time I'm done cooking, I literally just have only my serving bowls to clean up.
Also if you plan ahead, you could literally cook the entire meal, with multiple dishes, in a single pot!

hey chef can i ask a related but non related question about using an eggwash. so when you use an egg wash for meat, and you go from flour to egg to something like panko crumbs or coconut flakes, 1) how do you coat the meat with egg without it taking off the flour or falling off in crumbs in the frying pan and 2) every person i know can make chicken where they can get the oil hot without it smoking nor having to check the internal temperature, what can i do so that i can cook chicken like this? thx

mad robin hey there! I find if I’m making a breaded meat freezing helps a ton before frying! Flour, egg, breadcrumbs, BACK IN THE EGG AND BREADCRUMBS. Then freeze for 20-30 minutes and you’ll have a much cleaner fry. As for the oil- I heat my frying oil for chicken at a medium/low heat, after about 20 minutes I dip my finger in water (just a little drop) and flick it at the oil (stand back). If it sizzles and pops it’s ready to go :)

Really liked this video. Suggestion for the future. Make recipes an hour before you usually would eat your meals so you won't be hangry. :)
